ceb.352 | There are no established camp sites at the parking lot, but we decided to hole up in the warming hut for the night. Was a nice break from setting up the tent. There is firewood in one of the sheds, but there are no fires allowed outside the shelter. Only saw one other car the whole time we were there. It was a lovely night! |

redundantthrill12 | Stayed here close to the lighthouse gate! It was quiet and nobody bothered! Only issue was it was INSANELY windy in my rooftop tent so I would advise sleeping in a vehicle. |

jjblair1 | great place for a night. concur with great views. weather was good so there were groups with atvs and dirt bikes around until 830 pm or so. definitely some noise but this area is huge so not too hard to find somewhere to camp. as you come off the road there is a little dip to the left where there are some good level camp spots and it looks less used by the off road crowd. one to three bars of verizon lte. nobody bothered me. beautiful sunset. |

srmiller21 | Pyramid Lake is a gem! Great camping spot. There is lots of beaches all along the south western shore on your way to the town of Sutcliff that have dirt roads for primitive camping. Please note that everything south of Sutcliff has fireworks allowed. Everything north of Sutcliff has no fireworks. Pelican Point Beach has concrete slabs for easy parking with pit toilets and fire pits. We were here in May and had the whole beach to ourselves. There is also a large dumpster at the pier for garbage. The town of Sutcliff has one store where you can get water, booze and some random groceries but the food situation is limited and there are is no fresh produce. $32 a night to camp, which you can buy at the ranger station or online. |

sophienagel | Awesome place for one night! There is also really good Wifi you can get if you park in the RV/Bus parking right next to the visitor center. There was some noise until 11pm from a party but nothing terrible. |

srmiller21 | Cute little campground with lots of trees and open meadows and views of the mountains. Very peaceful! There are nature trails around the grounds, and we saw deer and lots of birds! The “lake” isn’t so much a lake as it is a creek. We were here in May and it was dried up in spots and very low in others. Fire pits and tables at all sites with wood for sale on site (ice too). RV hookups and water spots as well as tent-only spots. There is only 1 bathroom for the campground but it has flush toilets and is clean. 1 shower stall in the bathroom. |

Smokey Da Van | Just a typical KOA. They don’t seem to enforce the policy about not sleeping in non-RV vehicles. No trouble in our camper van, and I saw someone else sleep in their car. |

Travelin Tom | It's Edge of the World, people. You'll have 180° views at most of the sites, looking south to Sedona and Devil's Bridge. Can get windy, but it's to be expected at this elevation with so much exposure. The road in is not the friendliest, but you'll probably determine that it was well worth it upon arriving! |

trio3d | 2 laneways for dumping. there's potty cleaning water and a separate clean domestic water source in each lane.

Khayaonwheels | Art in the Jungle, this private place I stayed at for 7 months during lockdown last year, is looking more beautiful then ever. A perfectly private campsite for one car (4x4 needed in rainy season for the last small climb up), water in jerrycans from the river (boil to drink) will be brought, a nice private longdrop toilet with a view and a small hut to sleep 2 people with a covered sitting area beneath. All pretty basic but all made with love and care by yours truly. Beautiful views over the craterlakes and perfect for some walks in the area and enjoying the variety of monkeys and birdlife! UGX20.000 per person per night. Call Amanja for more information +256 (0) 772 917 870 the guys are very helpful and can do groceries in Rweetera for you or rent you a boda for 10.000 per day so you can explore the area by bike if you like! A special place for me... |

YouTube | It’s a big place in a great location. Very expensive. I’m camping, zero hookups, 400 pesos/$20 us per night. Could get AirBnB for that but the weather is perfect right now. Great bathrooms and WiFi |

pentiumdawnstar | amazing view, easy access (even with our low clearence honda civic), stayed here almost a week! it's so private and beautiful! This is one of our favorite spots, although be aware there is plenty of horse poop around (we cleared it away from our particular spot) |

ofwingsandwheels | We came here on a Tuesday at the beginning of May planning to stay at the first pin along the route, but a bunch were occupied! we drive a Ford transit extended high roof, and so we weren't planning on heading down the steep hill to this site. After we walked it, we decided to try it and we were glad we did! You'll definitely need a good set of tires and some confidence driving, but on a dry day, you can probably get away with it without 4x4. No chance if there's snow or rain though! the 10 km road in is pretty bumpy so you'll have to secure absolutely everything. If you can make it down, it's absolurely worth it. There was no river in sight in the beginning of May so we were able to drive on the riverbed. Only one other vehicle was there but probably a dozen spots to comfortably park with fire pits. No cell service available, but plenty if you back track a few KMs. |
