Spent a night here with no problems, large tree offers shade. 2 minute drive to Walmart, little park to take your dog out.

Hugeeeee area with fire ring 10 minutes to hot springs. could fit 15 cars at this spot. tight bumpy short road in , but okay if you miss the pot holes. No shade and wind vulnerable. A one night spot.

disperse camping along the CDT Trail. Just off of route 197 BLM land. The road is little rough but it is passable.

We slept one night, very quiet place. No facilities. / Dormimos una noche, un lugar muy tranquilo. No hay servicios.

Worked out great. Couple other RV and Van's in lot when I arrived. More in the lot when I woke up.

Really recommend this place! The owners Zane and Zena are so lovely, laid back and accommodating. Ended up staying a couple of weeks due to travel admin issues and they gave us a great rate for the Tented camp and chalet. Really felt at home here. Used the canoe every evening for free, the floodplain was in flood. Zane took us out for a boat ride to the Zambezi, so many birds to see. Best sunsets in Namibia to be seen from the deck or on the water. Fresh towels for the pool supplied everyday on the comfy loungers. Not far from Katima. You can hear the nearby village occasionally but there is overnight security. All in all a great spot!

Only had to pay once - 40pesos p person. Worth it considering the huge size of the falls/river and the fact there were a lot less tourists now because of the pandemic.

Kore specialist in air-cooled Vw classics. Excellent person but always has a LOT of work. He says please make an appointment in advance so he can help. In the photos I put his contact. I arrived and I did the work by myself and he was by the side guiding and lending all his tools. He didn't charge us for it, he likes to help travelers.

3 very nice campsites 400 m from the ocean with a beautiful beach with paraffin heated shower and flush toilets. Absolutely quiet and a very natural setting. You can walk down to the beach from the campsite. But shrubs and trees are blocking your ocean view. 140 ZAR p.P.

We slept a night here. Is not 24 hs gas station but is really quite at night and there's a secure guy very friendly. Free bathrooms, no showers.

amazing views! just your average flat pull off with no amenities but the view from this spot was incredible. and the stargazing. no light pollution. you can hear the kings canyon river rushing below too. also very minimal traffic on the road.

Not sure of the description but I found a spot where it possibly is.Under a tree,near a spot that was obviously used b4 for a campfire.
I spent a while collecting thrash,as you do in Albania,then camped.
When you come off the main road about 300 m left down the dirt road look to your right towards the river and turn down just before the odd shaped structure that's surrounded by a small wall.
NOTE:
The turn down to the field is a little steep and seems like not possible due to the ground getting washed away!!
You do have to cross a tiny stream to get to the fire pit between two trees.
Locals and Sheperds passed and said nothing.

Great spot with several pull outs along the way. The forest road to get to the National Park is easily done in a 2WD car when dry. I included 2 pics of camping guidance found near the National Park.

Great fresh spring at the roadside to fill your tank.

On arrival the place was not clean, no water, only little maintenance and care.
Later we got water, but in the morning it was off again.
In the waterhole just a little bit water and mud.

Great spot to camp. Sand gets soft as you go further down the beach!!! Fisherman launch about 5-600 so don’t be startled with vehicles. Met another couple here who helped me out. A nice quiet place!!!

OK for a night if you need cell service and to be close to town, but otherwise pretty meh. It no longer has bathrooms or power sites so it's basically just an overnight parking lot with grass and covered picnic tables. There's some kind of box near the creek that makes a high-pitched sound all night, traffic nearby and some train noise.

And the water - and thus the park - reeks of cow poop.

Exact coordinates have no parking sign. Parked 20m before there on a pull out. No issues, school bus started going past early but nobody bothered us.

Very well-kept camping area in the trees, next to E Fork of the Hood River. James (host) does a fantastic job keeping the sites and pit toilets in good shape. Far enough from Rt 35 to enjoy the peaceful river sounds. Easy access, even in mud season. Some sites are right next to the river. $23/night, Golden Age Parks Pass cuts that in half.

We tried to get to this spot but I think our GPS brought us the wrong way. We had such a scenic drive but never made it. You might find yourself driving above the clouds. Didn’t realize how cold it would be and we weren’t prepared for cold camping

The other pull off had "no parking" signs so I moved to this one, was great for the first couple hours, but about midnight, a possibility intoxicated person pulled up, started honking their horn, and yelling, then proceeded to start mowing the gravel beside the road, with a gas powered push mower. Needless to say, I did not stay after that.

BEAUTIFUL views of the sawtooths. There was a fire ring built out of rocks already at my site, but it gets really windy and is very exposed so having a fire was a little sketchy. The sites are free, no facilities, sign says they allow camping up to 16 days. I went mid-week in early may for 2 nights and there were plenty of spots open but I would assume in the summer it’s pretty competitive. 10/10 recommend this spot.

A ranger arrived to tell us camping is NOT allowed here. We were given an hour to pack up and leave, to avoid a fine.
