RTgirl | Very nice campground. On Colorado River trees and shade in some sites. Beautiful red cliffs all around. Warm during the day but cooled off nicely at night. Most accommodating and friendly camp hosts we’ve ever met. Check in early it fills up quickly by around noon. Very busy this year. They will let you park in day use area if they are full and you check in with them. |

brittanya12566 | An okay laundromat. It has the necessities. Not the cleanest I’ve been in but there isn’t many people here. The only thing saving this place is that it’s right down the street from my camp site. |

redundantthrill12 | Stayed here one night! Checked in at the front like advised and was given $10 free gas. Pretty sweet. Had lights in parking lot and a few people coming/going through the night so not the most peaceful sleep but felt pretty safe and was pretty excited about free gas money |

draestoddard | Nice campground, several walk in tent sites, camp sites with tent pad, picnic table ,firepit and pit toilets very clean, spacious spots. Some are pull thru. I got there in the evening and there were a few spots available as well as most of the walkin tent sites. Its about 6 miles off the hwy towards Coral sand state park, about 7 miles or so to the park. |

instagram.com/pandaspelomundo | We arrived at this spot around 8pm and left at 9am. Super quiet place in a residential area so we could sleep properly. There were some other cars apparently doing the same as us as well. In the morning there were only a few people walking their dogs and playing tennis in a court in front of where we parked. Absolutely no one bothered us. Just check for the street signs (no parking on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month) |

elmoost | As described. Lots of regular cars when the road was dry. In mud the track gets worse very quickly! Better check at the ranch if you can pass.

bluelineoffroad | A great location, but is fairly expensive. It has everything you need, but it’s just a lot of money for a tent site. Plus, you have to walk from the parking area to the tent locations. |

davidcykang | Parked on Brizzolara Street for one night. It’s quiet street next to HWY 101 divided by a tall wall so anticipate some traffic noise but it’s manageable. Students from Mission College Preparatory HS park on this street so your chances are better after school. Also I parked one night on Nipomo/Palm. It’s next to Mission College Preparatory HS soccer field. No ‘no overnight parking’ sign. |

Val.lo2011 | Reserve a free permit up to 14 days on the Bonnet Carré Spillway website. 30 mins to Nola. A few people staying here but most of the sites are empty. The noise from the main road can be loud. I stayed at site 9 in my tiny van Fri night: trains blaring their horns ALL hours of the night. Was woken up through my earplugs several times |

tembo.tadaima | Alternative road to Camiña. No maintenance for several years. Bad condition. Western half flat with difficult quebrada passages: sandy, washboard, parts of road washed out, ... Eastern half with steep climbs, narrow stretches, windy, rough. With a 4x4, one 14 km stretch took us 2 hours. Whole day trip. 3G only at 10 kms of either end. |

vanpositive | Beautiful lakeside parking. Parked here overnight, with other vehicles dispersed along the river as well, with people night fishing. Some cars passed by during the night but the speed limit is slow so it wasn’t bothersome. We didn’t see any signs for no parking. Road is flat dirt road, easy driving. Clean. We have a RAV4 with rooftop tent. I’d imagine it is busier on weekends. |
