Nice campground with lots of space and very well maintained. Paid 110 reals for camper and 2 persons

Filled up our water tank here but you need a canister for it. A lot of trucks stopped by and filled their waterbottles here too.

Absolutely lovely campsite! We stayed at site 6, but also site 5 is nice (I think). Site 1 has tents to rent and this is the best spot to view Sitatunga. They light the donkey at any time you want, so you always have hit water when needed. Great location to visit the Bwabwata NP on the other side of the river (recommended!). Geoffrey also offers walks and mokoro trips. We did the walk with Geoffrey, and we really liked it! Took almost 2 hours for 160 NAD pp.

Some locals are not happy with anyone staying here for the night and there has been problems at this spot in the past. Although it is not private property, I would recommend finding elsewhere to stay for the night. If you come to this spot, you will likely be approached by locals asking that you leave.

The place is as described, we spent one quiet night. When we arrived, we asked to the guy who lived in front the restaurant, to see if it’s ok to park for the night. Very kind, no problem.
At 10PM, the police came to see us, to check who we are, interested where we go after. Kind too
Winter season so no noise

A great place to spend the night. Not super quiet because of trucks but not bad. They were quick to say yes and let us stay. Bathrooms are nice. No WiFi available anymore. Fairly level.

It is a top museum with many exhibitions related to Marin life There are breath taking performances with Beluga whales, dolfins and robs. Absolute fabulous. Calculate a full day. Check out the time of the shows in the internet.

Large dirt parking lot used mostly by trucks. Good for a night. Security is here 24/7. We paid 5000

Like mention in the other post, big loop where the grass is not cut anymore. it's between the highway and a railroad truck. I think I heard the train until 23h. in the morning, I saw some deers. For me it was ok bécasse I don't have light sleeping. I was there alone

They took us at 60 km/h. They ask 25000 CFA with a receipt.

After lot of negotiations about corruption in Cameroun, we paid nothing.

Great place to wash clothes for cheap:
- 10 Kg wash: 180 pesos.
- 15 Kg wash: 360 pesos.
Detergent included in the price.

Dryers are at the same price (10 or 15 Kg).

Duration: 45mn for washing.

Good place to stay during the night. Very quiet. Water available at the beginning of the track.

The view from this campsite is awesome. The facilities are clean and organised. There is free bus service into Interlaken.

Ona dead end road next to a D road, remarkably quiet. On the side of a dried up river and next to a forest. Can’t been seen from the main road. 4g mobile phone signal.

We asked per WhatsApp. Friendly fast answer. But only 3,20 high.

Enjoyed boondocking this area for 2 nights in June. There's evidence this area would be inaccessible during high water and/or dam release events. I'd recommend a high clearance vehicle as the road and dry river bed has some good sized rocks but a skilled or careful driver should be fine.

Water at RV dump is off. Water still available at diesel island.

Mint site, plenty of room for any size RV.

We stayed here for a few nights. The cows did come visit on a few occasions and it appears this is a location where locals test firearms. However, it was beautiful and peaceful.

Everything as previously described, it can get busy with campers and visitors but the view is great!

Outhouses/portable toilets/porta potties/chemical toilets were delivered this morning (June 13). So toilets may not always be available.

Grocery store with all the basics and cold drinks and also typical food. they'll have soon a hot shower and toilet to use. and making room for 1 tent.

Nice place for the night. Wifi available at the library/town hall up the road. Just the sounds of waves all night.

We were here last night, with at least 2 other campers on the surrounding parking lots. We had a very quiet night.
Did not find any portapotty but we could use the washrooms near the soccer field, until at least 11 PM.

concrete blocks on the gravel road prevent access to this spot. find somewhere else!
