Had no problems first night, moved over to the main parking for the state park Friday morning and went back over to the pull-off late Friday night. Got a knock on the door around 8 Saturday morning, park staff said no camping at this spot. So we moved back over to the main parking lot with plans to leave later that day. Not even a half hour later we got a knock from a different employee, also saying no camping. There were a couple rigs parked in the main lot overnight it seemed, so maybe they felt like they needed to crack down. It’s a beautiful spot, and no “no camping” signs at the pull-off, just at the main lot.

camping spot just outside of rocky Mt np. spots range from 25 to 76 depending on size. we went with a single $25 site. checked the website beforehand and plenty of fcfs spots. beautiful view of the lake, and it was cold but fun to paddleboard on. got to see a lightning storm that evening too. flush toilets, potable water, dumpsters. a pretty good site for the value and not terribly busy on a Thursday.

Camped near this spot, this whole area is amazing for wild camping if you can tuck away from the main Riverbed road. the riverbed road seems to get a fair bit of traffic with both work cars and tourist vehicles, although we were well hidden and noone came by. No MTC connection. climbing area is a short walk away (take your helmets it's a bit chossy).
Pack out your trash and toilet paper (it won't break down in the desert).

Park rangers came and asked us to leave the park or to move to a paid camp site. We got one without service for 22$. Dumped and showered.

Lovely Rec Site campground with clean pit toilets. Friendly camp host Leanne. 15$/night April 15 - Oct 15. Firewood 8$/bundle. I drinking water or trash bins. Worth the detour off the main highway to enjoy the views and lake sounds (lots of birds).

We spent 2 nights here. Felt safe, beautiful place. But really noisy because it is nearby the airport and the a big avenue.

owner said his lot is not meant for overnight, and is busy with boat tours. The lot could not, in any case, accommodate a travel travel and tow vehicle, just a smaller RV. Not a spot you can count on, you need a plan B, even if you are taking the tour.

Actually, on the road just east of this spot, in front of Cementerio de la Santa Cruz, it's much more quiet. There is a huge, free parking area, even for big rigs. Policemen suggested us to spend the night there.

The same thing happened to us... Policemen woke us up in the middle of the night and told us that it's not allowed to spend the night on Cerro San Bernardo.

Really nice home stay. Parking for cars / vans / trucks is possible. A few meters to go, with fence and cameras.

Beautiful cove. Small parking lot. We backed up onto the beach but would only recommend if you have a capable/lifted 4x4 as the rocks are loose. Fog at night but very quiet- there’s a salmon farm just outside of the cove. A few locals came by in the morning- they were super friendly. Please keep the place clean.

Had a great night here! One of the best campgrounds I’ve ever stayed at, and very reasonable rate. Stayed in the E lot with two cars and two tents and had more than enough room. There area LOT of campsites but it doesn’t feel too crowded, though there are a couple spots that are pretty close together which would be nice for camping with friends but maybe not with strangers. The online map does a good job referencing that though!

Slept on the westbound side - typical rest stop night. LOTS of Mormon Crickets on the ground everywhere, so smelled like them.

Small camping with awesome views. Only 5 sites open as June 13th because of the snow. We found a lovely spot by the river but table and fire ring was flooded and water is not available and since the campground is not officially open we did not pay! Most campgrounds and hiking trails are closed at the moment at hight elevation.

Reservoir is full when you go pass the small dam to the end of the road. There are two spots creekside for camping. It was nice until the mosquitoes swarmed out and started attacking you. There were no mosquitoes at the turnaround.

I’m not 100% sure why it’s marked closed on iOverlander, bc it’s also listed as parking friendly on the App RV Parky. So that’s why I chose it.
I arrived after watching the best sunset at Sterns Park. I parked in the southwest corner of the lot, near a few overnight semis. No problems. Quiet night - listened to frogs before I kicked up the sound machine. The store is not 24 hrs.
Rather clean and well organized inside - which is refreshing. I felt like it’s a safe stay for a night.

No signs posted on any of the streets surrounding the brewery. We parked in the angled spots across the street next to the park with no issue. Huge dog park. Restrooms at nearby beach parking lot.
