There is no bridge across the Lufila river, please do not follow T4A on this route to/from N Luangwa. There used to be a bridge, a long time ago, but it does not exist anymore. There is no option of crossing the river as there is no location for a ford due to the boulders and deep water. It is completely impassible.

We wasted a few hours going down this road, please don’t do it (:

quick tip if you plan to go north in the direction of Salinas de Garci Mendoza . the road around the volcano until about churacari is bad quality (similar to Laguna's route). might make sense to stay on the Salar as long as possible

Went to RV Campground entrance and they sent us to the hotel lobby to buy tokens for the shower. He gave us a map and said the hotel would tell us where to go. Went to hotel and got the tokens.. but they seemed busy and didn't say where to shower. We looked at the provided map and went to the RV Campground showers (only ones on provided map), which did not take tokens. They were campground concrete showers with plenty of hot water and good pressure. I suggest wearing shower slides, oh and bring soap and a towel. I'm sure we went to the wrong shower, but we got one nonetheless.

We're on a cross-country rv trip with our 32-foot 5th wheel camper and a chasing vehicle. We needed a place to stop overnight as we didn't make UT as far as we'd hoped. We arrived at almost 9 pm, just at sunset. road was perfectly manageable with camper, turning at the Champs station was the best route despite Maps trying to turn us onto a different tiny street a few blocks down. there was one couple looking around then left shortly after we arrived and we didn't see another soul until we were leaving the next morning. blessedly, the crickets seemed to clear up as we started to come up the mountain. there were a few random ones but not the huge swarm, and also not as bad of the smell. The weather was perfect, the view incredible. perfect spot for a last minute option and bigger rigs. one of our party was sleeping in the bed of their pickup with a campershell, and the temperature was comfortable.

Everything as mentioned as before. Checkin and registration in the Hostal/cafe at campsite. Near toilets. In the evening there is someone that goes around and checks if you are registered.

An absolute legend of a wild spot. Level, fire ring, open meadow surrounded by trees on 3 sides. A gravel pit across the road. No "no camping/parking" signs anywhere. Stayed one night. Quiet, secluded, peaceful. Turn Right off of Lake County 131 onto the small dirt road BEFORE the entrance sign to the Demonstration Forest. Follow road back maybe .75 miles. Site is on the left. Big gravel pile on the right.

Not a place to camp. We arrived a little early and made dinner. A sheriff came by to make sure we weren’t planning on staying over night. Instead go up forest road 81 plenty of sites to camp and an easy going road up. Need a discovery pass, if you don’t have one get one already.

Stunning location along Taylor Creek. we enjoyed this spot very much. Large enough for a group or bigger rigs, although it is bumpy coming in. No cell reception, but open skies for starlink. The creek was flowing very nice. This site is labeled #7.

No shade at all. Clean. Full hook ups and wi fi. Not a busy road when we were here mid June. $40 a night for cash. Enough space for our 38 foot long motor home. Jeep fits right in next to us. None of the people in the surrounding campers were there so very quit..If you are pulling a tow vehicle and it wont fit in your site. There's a whole area you can park in easily so you won't be stuck.

Nice campground. Well maintained. Full hook ups..yaay! Didn't use the wifi because Tmobile worked great. Lots of shady trees. Access to the lake for activities. Our motorhome is 38 feet long and towing a JEEP. Had no issues with clearance.

Indeed a nice spot, not the most beautiful in Northern Argentina, but definitely ranking top 10. The road is visible and also to hear, but gladly there is not much traffic going on during the night.

Guatemala a México Border
.
Guatemala a México border
Arrived to the order at 8 Am on a Sunday.
First it's Guatemalas Custom, where you pause or cancel de TIP. I parked under the roof where not so many "helpers" bother.
Then 100 mts forward, at right hand there is migratons office, get your passport stamped there for Guatemala exit.
There is a bridge to go to México with cost 5Q.
As soon as you get to México they spray you with something to fumigate and it cost 90 pesos.
Moving forward your passport gets checked for Guatemala's stamp, and then the vehicle's registration. They look after food, they took rice and bananas from us.
Parked our van in the parking lot on the left, and cross to the building, where you ask for the stamp for México. They make you fill up a form where there is already the amount of days they are going to let you stay, ask for how much you need. With this form you go to BANJERCITO office thats on the same room and pay 717 pesos wich you can pay in dolars. Then with that pay they stamp your passport.
For the TIP we Made photocopies on a pharmacy next to OXXO thats 100 mts away from the building we were at. Photocopies required where Passport photo page, filled up form and vehicle registration. TIP costa 55 dolars. And if you are not driving a MH they ask for a deposit from 400 to 200 dolars acording to cars year.
Overall it was easy and fast. Took us like 2 hours.
So you will need 5Q for bridge, 90 pesos for spray, 717 pesos or the same on dolars per person for MIG, 55 dolars for TIP and acording to You car a deposit.

The two hosts were on the road themselves and unfortunately we didn't met them. We signed up a day before via Whats App and Peggy&Ali were very helpful. We should have used shower, kitchen, washing machine, ladder. We stayed 5 nights in the quiet garden and slept well. There is a monkey cage (do not go too close), they make noise from time to time. There are 3 lovely dogs that like to play, but also like to put their feces out of the door. For big cars it is a bit tricky to get to the garden square, but it was also possible with our 8.42 m and 3.65 m high. It was the ideal location for us, nobody wanted money at all, so we got a little something at Rey.

I didn’t see any vault toilets. Just some spots with fire rings near a lake - good but not much in the way of amenities.

Small campsite available for a small fee, we were planning to stay the afternoon but after meeting suma and facundo we decided to stay two nights. The camping is right next to a restaurant with really nice food for cheap. We ended up doing a tour with facundo and he also cooked up some fish on the campfire for us. Probably the highlight of our trip so far.

Nice quiet area near river. Far enough from I-70 that all I hear are birds and frogs. There are 3-4 designated camp sites, I was the only one on a Sunday night.
