SH76 is a really nice panorama route. You have beautiful views to the valley of the Vjosës river and the surrounding mountains. You will drive on a mix of stones, different gravel types and a old Romain street. 4x4 is recommended.

Really nice place to stop for a night. Not originally designed for overlanders but very accommodating. Helps to speak French! Philipe is great company and the staff are very friendly. No WiFi but very good mobile signal with onatel. Heard here that the other campsite is closed.

Hard to find! Best to arrive before dark and look for the compound with the colourful gate.

Nice spot away from the traffic. Great views. Ridiculously windy. It was just us and one other car for the night!

Nice spot with a great view. Seems to be a rip-off. Several men came during the night-time and pretended to be the owner and asked for money. Very annoying. Tell them that you already spoke to the owner and payed for the night, even if you didn't. Nevertheless nice and safe for one night.

Great spot up on the hill overlooking Winthrop. Few sites around the pond, but we were the only ones staying here for the night. Very quiet except for the frogs and birds around the pond. 3 bars LTE on Verizon.

Lovely camp amongst the aspens trees. 8 sites, creek, 2 vault toilets, tables, fire ring. $4 or half price with Interagency senior pass.

Very nice and cheap place. Nice owner. clean shower. Clean toilet with Toiletpaper. Billard. Good Wifi. I loved it here.

Stayed here two nights in our converted Skoolie. No issues

Very nice couple that serves a good food and has very good Wi-Fi. You can also sleep by the beach (Santa Cruz) right across the street. There is a safe and nice spot with great views and wind at night.

We can highly recommend this place! We also stayed in front of the campsite and we payed 1200 rubles for 2 persons (& a dog 😉), but now we also know for what we payed! For a superb Banya-experience! Water, electricity and toilet for free - 1200 rubles for using the Banya, including tea and sweats, as long as we want. Thank you for the hint.

Still a good option outside Fortaleza to stay. Put 20 lts of gas on our car and didn’t have to pay for shower, although it’s only 5 bucks. No restaurant here, just small convenience store

Small campground outside of Lava Hot Springs. About 6 minutes of main road leading to Bancroft. Perfect spot and the moon was insanely bright.

nice bio (organic) winery of young couple who speak good German and English. You can park here and camp by agreement and taste delicious wine and get a glimpse of the traditional Georgian wine making for little money. you can also order meal. nice view, great experience.
please use no fascilities if the hosts are not there.

European style coffee place, with garden and indoor place. Good cappucciono and assorted biscuits and cake. They also sell souvenirs and handcraft to support abused woman from Tajikistan to get a better life.

Beautiful spot in the forest. 8 km west of E75. Very quiet at night and very peaceful. No facilities. Shopping center 8 km away next to E75.

Normal police checkpoint with Gate. Just checking passports. Nothing else..

At the Shell gaz station you can fuell up your watertanks (look for 'Vesi' in the glas box). You can also have a free shower and sauna if you ask at the counter in the restaurant.

If you are looking for a hidden place in this area to avoid trouble with police... This is a good place to stop on your way. Not visible from the road. Way to the place a little rough but OK without 4x4. The ground is not totally flat but it is OK. Small Trucks could fit but with big trucks it could be difficult.

Nice waterfall and swimming hole (for the adventurous).

There is a toll at this place. For a camper van, we had to pay 59 somoni for what they call category 2.
Category 1 is until 2 tons. Trucks are category 3 (147 solo is)

Very nice campground. It’s big. Several “streets” are for long term residents. Then there are three more for day visitors. Large pitches on grass with shade trees. Electricity available. Nice, clean sanitary facilities with showers included in the price. (No tokens). Beautiful playground. Campfire bowls and wood are available at reception. Nice staff. We paid €17 for two adults with a truck and rooftop tent.

Price is 190 N$ pppn. Facilities are nice and clean. Price however is a bit steep, question is howmuch of this goes to the community. Drive here us not very well signposted and for people who drive a truck please note that there are 2 bridges to cross with a signposted weight limit if 12 t.
