Quiet location. We spent the night without a problem. Very silent.

Far enough off the highway that the noise isn’t an issue. Certainly a good place to stop for the night, close to Fernie.

Good, clean, small dump station in large lot. Was able to fill clean water. Cost $1.00 (quarters only) to fill our van.

Pretty, open spot by the reservoir with mountain views. Can be windy. Only park above the water. Do not park at water level. We have been entertained all afternoon by trucks getting stuck in the mud. RV's get stuck too and it's $200 an hour to get pulled out! Don't be tempted to park next to the water. The reservoir level changes based on the needs of the surrounding area and they don't give any warnings. You could wake up in the water or at the least get stuck in the mud. Stay high! The water is nice and the kids are having fun playing in it. You could kayak here.

Flat area next to main road with shadow and quiete at night

Good to stay when you want to visit the clay villages of the surroundings.
Very friendly farmers who like to invite you, but just speak Farsi. Sometimes H+ with Irancell.

Truck stop for big rigs with fuel and outhouses. Bit of a grassy area to the side where we pitched a tent. Not the quietest stop for the night but no one bothered us. Could be busier at other times, we traveled during the pandemic and stayed here on a Sunday night.

so many spots to choose from, easy to access - unless recent rains. noticed some flooding.

Camping is $14 per night at this Beehive Campground just off the hwy. No facilities, only picnic tables.

Beautiful views. 5 vehicles in the parking area last night. Road noise if you are a light sleeper.

Gate was closed and they add signs everywhere for "no camping". We didn't stay.

Someone was already on site, so we decided to continue on the gravel road. There are some other spot along the road, and no one has bothered us, very quiet place!
And we have seen very beautiful wild horses. :D

This is a spot perched high on top a ridge with amazing panoramic views. It’s pothole-pavement one lane road most of the way up with the last couple miles a bit of washboard type gravel. Easy 2WD accessible. This in within a National Forrest so there’s plenty of pull offs and plenty of places to camp. This is about 45min outside of Grants Pass where there’s lots of services- There are no services on top of this ridge so bring all your water/food that you’ll need.

I chose this spot for a couple reasons: The gravel cycling, the panoramic views, this has incredible T-mobile cell service, and the first iOverlander spot on this road looks like it has long term occupancy situation

It can get a little breezy with some of the tree cover lost to Forrest Fires, but it makes for excellent cell service, solar charging and very photogenic stationary Sunrises/Sunsets being and extremely quiet and secluded perch.

Water faucet outside of the Bathroom building. No signs prohibit its use.

We wanted to make a correction to the accurate location of the dump site. The location is correct but the pump outs are located at the Shell gas station in the uncovered gas pumps.station

We took the decision to remodel the campsite only for a maximum of two motorhomes in wk and of course during the week about two more. Now it will be on reservation to facilitate the places we have for you. All the services are as before, with more privacy and comfort, see you soon!

$10/night for 2 vehicles and 5 people and with the Senior Pass, make that $5/night. A dumpster and toilet are nice perks. We’re waiting for our bus to get fixed in Gypsum and this is the perfect hangout spot for 5 people, two buses, two dogs, one cat and one rabbit. We’re at the top of the hill - sites 6 and 7 - and the wind can be punishing but it’s short-lived and the view of the Eagle River is beautiful.

Small Hotel with big locked parking lot. Very friendly english speaking owner. Paid 350 Pesos for a double with bathroom. No height restrictions.

At the West end of town. The usual combo. WiFi, restrooms inside. This one borders meadows with a view, kind of.

this area has cheaper gas than what we have seen in awhile, and cleaner than the other gas stations.

As described, quiet spot, can barely hear the trains, not much traffic.

Mohsen is just great and very helpful!
Within shortest time he quickly organizes a new handle for my broken window crank.
Right around the corner from his workshop you can have your camper truck washed for 600,000 IRR and people are very happy when they tip 100000 IRR!
Mohsen speaks a good English and even a little German.
This man is highly recommended to every Overlander!

Amazing beach side free camping! More pictures on insta @whitespace_lifestyle . About 35 minutes from highway 16, the last 8.5km is a dirt/gravel road that is not that bad just dusty. Plenty of space to spread out. Not busy at all as it’s a little out of the way but worth it. Spending two days here as we cross Canada. Easy for large class A to turn around once you get here. The beach is very large and is sand/pebble mix. There is non flush toilets in steel shelter and fire pits on the beach. Only thing we could hear is the birds and frogs as there is a bit of a marsh on other side of the road.
