Next to the temple is a parkingarea. We found over 10 Chinese overlander campers there, so spending the night is no problem at all. Great views over Ulan Ude.

We arrived around 10.30, no line. Whole process took about 40 minutes. You take the side entrance on the left that has a small висы sign. Filled in a form, one photo, paid 30 dollars for slow processing (72 hours). We applied on friday and could pick up on monday. Fast processing (24 hours) is 70 dollars. You can pay in euro and rbl too (we paid a bit less than 2000 rbl per visa). They close for lunch and weren’t to clear on if they open in the afternoon. We were told that Irkutsk only offers fast visa processing (so only option is 70 dollars).

Ok place. I was the evening entertainment for the guard and his friends. He stays all night. Very dirty toilet. But in the visitor center it is clean

head up gothic or slate river road and you'll get up to the lake and many spots at high elevation with great views and cool nights. no cell service and no ammenities. a rough road up and you might eant clearance and 4x4.

Nice family operated campsite at the river and close to Sherbrooke Village. God WiFi.

The GPS coordonates are wrong, they will lead you to another alojamiento (which is dirty and where you don't want to stay).
La Chuñuña is right on the main square but there is no sign of hospedaje, only for a restaurant.

Hikes are awesome and staff is very friendly.
You can see or heard jaguars in the park.

Very chill paradise. Beautiful beach, cold beers, nice people. We paid 20,000Le pp to camp so not too expensive, all things in Africa are negotiable 😊

Crossed border in 1 hour from Ginuea with a RHD defender, no one seemed too fussed. Paid no money, had a Carnet, made some friends, super easy.

Exiting Angola to DRC
Took 30 minto get our 5 passeports stamped at immigration office.
Then customs checked our vehicke up to the bin or the kids' shells collection ... 30 more minutes.
Friendly officers though.

Very friendly and talkative officers as we speak french.
- 1st: You are welcome by policemen, they registered twice our passeport's informations.
- 2nd: Customs checked our vehicle for 30 min (for illegal rhino horns)
- 3rd: You are escorted to the "chancelerie" to get the passeports registered once more and get the visas stamped.
- 4th: You visit the "bureau sanitaire" (medical office) with your vaccination card, which will be registered by the officer.
- 5th: Last step: the DGDA office, to get the CPD stamped
The whole took around 1h30, with very pleasant talks with all the officers.
Don't be surprise, most of them don't wear any particular uniform.

La subida al lugar era excesiva para mi camper. 7 metrs, 4 metros entre ejes y 3.500 kg eran excesivas y en la segunda curva me quedé clavado. En la puerta de entrada me esperaba Edy para darme las instrucciones precisas de cómo subir pero me fué imposible.
Edy es el dueño y una persona que ayuda pero me temo que sí no es con 4x4 o pequeña camper el riesgo es alto puesto que luego hay que bajar hacia atrás con dos curvsd muy pronunciadas y es peligroso. mi camper tiene 150 CV y las ruedas estaban seminuevas. Me dijo el dueño que alguna vez han llegado a subir otras más largas. Yo no pude

Great place to stay. Lots of options for parking even for a day use area. Out houses, and dump (free) and garbages available. There was a train close by that I heard a few times through the night but other than that it was very quiet. And...it’s free!

Lovely place near the airport, $1 a day to leave the car while we went to the galapagos, $8 transport to airport and 8$ pickup.

A small campsite for 3-4 cars in the middle of the city centre.
Nearby himba village. Very noicy. Friendly staff.

Wifi is good, abulution blocks are basic and dirty and warnout.

It is not this was we understand under "termas". You can only visit the pool area from the hotel termas, for the price 15 real, when you are been a guest from the campingplace. 2 cold pool and 1 warm whirlpool. In the hotel there is no cabine to change the clothes, we must do it in the toilet. In the Hotel International you must not be a guest.
You can buy a dayticket for 120 Real per person include, eat from the buffet and the pool area. For use it was to expensive.

It is located between the road and the railway, but is very quiet at night.

Llegamos de noche y el parqueadero estaba cerrado. Decidimos quedarnos en la calle y la verdad el lugar es super tranquilo y seguro. Pasamos 3 noches.
We arrived at night and the parking lot was closed. We decided to stay on the street and the place is really quiet and safe. We spent 3 nights.

Gas station with a parking lot, good option for overnight. A little noisy by some traffic. There is shower (hot) by MXN 35 but for customer it it's for free (only one person, the second person pay). There is a room with electricity connection and TV you can use.
