It’s more of an informal campsite than an established one. You can camp by the lake next to the restaurant on the peninsula. Great view, quiet area but dirty toilet and no shower.

Quiet bay, clean beach, white sand. Canooing possible in cristal clear bay. Nearby uninteresting old mining ruins. Access on very narrow dirt track, high clearance recommended, 4x4 in wet conditions.

Wild camp a little outside the village on a rocky coast. Four tables, a pit toilet and a gravely platform for a tent. No signs forbidding to camp. Some protection from northerly winds. Nice and quiet spot. Bring firewood as there is no drift wood.

Easy bordercrossing, very friendly guards. Border control on Kazach side let me open every box in our truck and asked about religious books ( because of my beard?).If you don’t have your own transport arrange this in advance, there is nothing at the border.

Went for a quick stop. Still no sign on the site. Would definitely try to sleep here in a camper or VR but not in a tent. Beautiful view.

The original coordinates are wrong for this spot. It's actually closer to the other Rest Area entry. There's only one rest area.

We spent the night here but this morning the sheriff came and told us it’s day use only.

Beautiful campground. Clean washrooms, small grocery store. Wifi available for a couple of bucks. Pretty empty for July. We paid 25$ for a noon hook up. Would definitely recommend!

As described, clean basic hotel. Initially i asked for a double and was quoted 60s but maybe a breakdown in understanding as they showed us a room with 2 beds. The single bed, double size for wife and i was 50s with private bathroom. It was a bit noisey until about 10pm and in the morning but thats Peru......good parking for the bike and close to centro.....overall a good overnight stay

Wild camp site near Upper Mesa Falls. Beautiful spot in the pines with a rock fire pit.

Caravan parking next to the shoe museum. Free. Bad mobile internet. Restaurants in town. Toilets available, when museum is open. Free.

Asked the security if it’s ok to spend the night and they approved. Decent access to Punta Mita for surf and Puerto Vallarta. Quiet easy night, no problems

old neglected BUT CHEAP. so nothing to complain about. great location for shopping and friendly staff. I suppose compared to most other campings in Argentina great value for money. nothing beats a nice campsite in the bush. But for one day to do shopping etc perfect. maybe in summer this is a great place with huge pool. i am sure it will be packed. just wonder how the poor infrastructure will handle it.

Nice quiet place above the Lake, $12 per night w\ free firewood, beach access, first come first serve

We went here because it was the cleanest place we found and looked good. They do many options of Chinese food and combo plates for between 18-22sol which are great value. Their lemonade is excellent (5sol 0.5L, 10sol 1L).

Manager is enforcing 1 night stay with eviction notices pasted on rigs heading into the second night

Nice Hostel in the heart of everything.
Not easy to see from the street. They could use a better sign.
Hostel is on second floor.
Parking available for motos, maybe a car in the garage.
$14.00 for a dorm bed.

Good place to jump off for the Galapagos.

We stay here one night with our rv. It was safe for us and calm. There is game and football and basketball ground . The local say 's ok to stay here...
There is water(no potable) front of the football ground.

Laundry and pay showers. We spend a lovely afternoon on trails and on the lake. If you would like to stay the night, they also offer nice RV sites w/ water & electricity, Wifi, toilet/ shower block at 39$ (low season much cheaper). Trout Restaurant next door.

A small roadside pullout along the forest road. Ok for sleeping, dense forest and mosquitoes. Quiet. Best for small rigs, camper vans, rooftop or regular tent. Several pullouts close by.

Quiet place, perfect when you arrive from the ferry at night. Beautiful hike in the rainforest along the coast

Not possible to park a car inside... The gate is on a small shopping street and there is a big step to go in. Maybe ok for motorbike...
