I hate campsites, but this one was very nice. Most of the campsites are well-spaced from each other. Clean, flush toilets, 4G works well, firewood for sale. Screaming children are the only bad part of the experience.

Simple room. 1000 for 3 of us. Shop and petrol station. Shop has a few snacks - but we had our own food so took the liberty of eating it in the shop area which has tables. Tv there too. Beer and wine also available. Thankful for the heated room. Shared bathroom...but at this time of the year there is no one else staying here anyway..

Amazing little camp by a lake in the tiny township in 3 de Abril colony there are tables bbqs playgrounds and perfect lake setting cute horses and friendly cows around decent toilets and water source. Thank you 3 de Abril council for this beautiful place!

Exit Guatemala: quick, nothing special.
Entry Mexico: paid 530 pesos or so in the bank per person entry costs.
No costs for car as we have a Mexican plated car.

Bank closes at 5, so you’ll have no chance of entry later than 5.

They checked our van, but not thouroughly. They did not spot our hidden food:)

After over 4.5 hours exiting Russia we arrive around 2pm. We finally exited into Mongolia at 6.30pm.
No problems all good just slow processing cars.

Allowed us to sleep in our van in their secure lot and use the shared bathrooms (with shower). 50 B for the two of us, includes breakfast!

Still $15 pppn. Great shower - proper hot water, not a just heating element at the shower head! WiFi reaches room, but it's not the fastest. Restaurant is quite expensive (after coming from Colombia).
Plenty of space for bicycle in room - could easily fit 2 in here.

Nice Hotel considering the town. Big rooms with five beds for 60 bs. 3 blocks up the main park. People in this town seems happy.

Emplacement sympa au bord de l’eau, quelques bancs, grand espace vert, et baignade possible .

Alex very warm person and the most important very good mechanic, helped me alot with my DR650 (which he have as as well). He got some parts if you need.. can handle with Kawasaki and BMW as well. Fair prices.

Lugar muito legal, quando existe evento, cobra-se para o pernoite.

Quando não existir evento, a pernoite é gratuita.
O local tem amplo espaço, com banheiros.
Não sei se tem local para banho, estávamos com motorhome e não foi necessário chuveiros.
Também não vimos local para camping.
Local bem iluminado, wi-fi gratuito, ponto de água e luz (energia 220).
O local fica trancado a noite, impedindo a saída e entrada no local fora do horário.
Fica bem localizado, bem próximo ao centro.
Super indicamos.

Beautiful area to stay for one night. Quite and clean bathrooms. There is also a big dog area to play with your dog. And the WiFi is very good at the visitor center

Great location with a nice view over the valley. Two parking places available, one before the guesthouse (flat) another in front of the house, not very flat. The main road and rail road are located x meters below the B&B, therefore it can be somewhat noisy at night. Did not bother us to much (with earpluggs). Owner ‘Irina’ is welcoming I-Overlanders, mentioning that she regards them as very positive people in general.

Very simple and fast bordercrossing. Took us only 20minutes, also our dog was no problem, even without papers from a veterinarian which are officially needed.
Only the road construction on the Russian side was a bit exhausting.

We really recommend this place! Feeling come back sweet home! Super clean, beautiful views, kitchen with all present stuffs, pool, wifi, wash machine (500 AM for 1 load), ... Perfect place for fill the batteries!

hotel is nice, but our room was a little bit run down and the bathroom not clean. staff is very friendly. restaurant is not recommendable, staff seems to be a little bit confused. i've ordered spaghetti with chicken, chicken was not fresh but just put into the microwave (microwave is in the restaurant, not in the kitchen). no blankets, just pillows and a kind of "decoration blanket".
hotel is ok for just one night on the way to cameroon, secure parking and atm, shops etc around the hotel

Very friendly, small campsite on Lake Ohrid. Family owned. They have two locations next to each other. Rino 1 has shady spots and a restaurant with seating in the lake. (We had Macedonian pizza, made with corn. It’s enormous and good!) Rino 2 is larger. Basic, clean bathrooms. They welcome you with a coffee and a rakija. And they bring you coffee every morning! WiFi is fast. There’s some road noise but overall it’s very peaceful. Cost is only €5 per person.

Follow the dirt road till it‘s end towards an old birch. You can still hear the noise of the car‘s a little bit but they don’t really disturb. It‘s a perfect place for an overnight stop, hidden and fairly quiet. Beeline Coverage 3G

Khurzy Khana is a big massif, a geological formation due to erosion of a very old sinclinal folding caused by tectonic movements. What makes it special is that it is formed by layers of different colors and resistances, forming by erosion rocky valleys between vertical walls, with clearly marked the different layers that previously were one on the other.. Here you can drive and camp between high vertical walls. There are some yurtes. Awesome.
For this valley take the way at 43.248985, 101.740143 from the wide canyon crossing the Khurzy Khana.

An older couple runs this little camping. They are so amazing hosts! All facilities are well maintained and clean. We payed 20 reais pp.

We want a swimming pool for us and our children....it was 32°
OK the owner seems not realy friendly for rhe first contact but I have some friend like him who seems like bear....I think it's a good guy...!
Yes it was not realy cheap for us , we pay 135 reas by day for a family of five.
But for this we have a lot of...
We was alone in the swimming pool, it was clean.
We have internet, cold shower, électricity in 110 or 220.
And we can use the laundry (new machine of 13kg) for free, and for a family it's very important...
So for the price we think it's a good deal...
We was in winter and you see that this part of the pousada is not a priority ,but it was correct.
we haved a really nice moment here during 2 days.
For us we find it's a good option

Fantastic vet!!! Wonderful staff. Our dog got parasites and the they saw us immediately. The vet checked our pup and clearly cares about what she does. We had a photo of the parasites and she administered medication right away. It only cost 6,000 ($10) for the meds and they didn’t charge us for the visit. If you need any vet care go here!

Lots off giraffe rock art, some people also trying to do art work. no idea why.

Food is pretty expensive here and WiFi didn’t work when I was here. Maybe nice for staying over night but not worth stopping for lunch during the day
