Not possible to park a car inside... The gate is on a small shopping street and there is a big step to go in. Maybe ok for motorbike...

Peak of Cerro Rodadero. An amazing hike with view of the mountains and southern coast. It’s a lesser known spot you can backpack and wild camp on foot.

Nice quiet spot to camp. We stayed for the night and didn’t see another person. Lots of space for any size rig. Mosquitos were around but not terrible.

Stefan and his family made us very welcome, Stefan ran us to the local town to get some beers, fed us and allowed us to watch the World Cup. The place is lovely, on the outskirts of Tarapoto (10 S/ motortaxi from town). Stefan has lots of plans and we wish him and his family well in getting everything set up and running. We enjoyed exploring the back of the property, collecting fruit! It’s still a project but they’ve done a lot given they only moved 4 months ago and had a baby 3 months ago! Relaxed, super helpful and very welcoming.

LoLo from Colón to Cartagena with Seaboard: Step 4, 5 and 7 for us.

After DIAN we were send directly to SPRC (without temporary TIP).
They want to see:
pass, licence of the car, BoL, permit to enter (we have got it from Seaboard), accident insurance (!)
Date for the next day to do inspection, pay the bill and get the car.

Step 5. Next day.
Inspection and pay the final bill.
(The bill was 80 $ more expensive than Tea had told us......./ Seaboard had send by mail a wrong weight and the car owners and Seaboard had a lot of discussions to got the cars)

After 8 h (!) we had to park the cars before the Exit, took fotos of the plate and VIN and "run" with this to the DIAN to get the TIP.

Step 7
After the " DIAN run" we had to come back here, show the complete TIP and wait again until 18:30 (for a paper, for annother paper, nobody knows or could explain).
Then they gave us 10 min for go straight to the cars. Otherwise we had to wait til tomorrow......
After waiting again at the Exit Gate and the final check:
Jippie!! We did it! After 11h at this day.

All cars (5) were okay, no damages.

LoLo with Seaboard from Colón to Cartagena: Step 1 for us.

Linda is very nice and helpfull.
We had to show the temporary BoL (from Panama) and the passport.
We have got a new temporary BoL and a bill over 50 $ (extra for a large flatrack, not for a container ?) to pay in COP at a Citibank.
With the bill of payment we had to come back and got the BoL and the keys.

Olimpic supermarket info: the balotto open at 10, but at this day they were not able to make a connection to Citibank. So we took a taxi to the next Citibank.

After this we were send to the DIAN.

LoLo from Colón to Cartagena with Seaboard. Step 3 and 6 for us.

Step 3:
With the BoL we asked for the form to make a vehicle import.
They gave us a form an told us which copies they need.
Copyshop is near the entrance on the other side of the street:
passport, page in pass with the entry stamp, car licence, driver licence, BoL and a copy from the form, too.
They took all the copies and send us directly to SPRC. A 15 min walk.

Step 6:
SPRC send us with our pictures of the cars (VIN and plate) for the final add on the TIP.
With this we had to go back to SPRC.

Large sandy area on the beach where we put our tent. There's a parking space but best is to have a 4WD to find somewhere quieter and more hidden. Almost no shade though...

We came back for one more night. We really love the peace in this place, the starry night, and sounds of the insects and birds from the nearby wetlands. There are not so many mosquitos. Note however that nudists may use this area of the beach, so it may not be suitable for everyone. But they seem respectful and if you're there before they want to uncover themselves, they'll ask if it's OK for you.

There is no water in the lake 3.7.2018. In the tourist information they don't tell anything about it, maybe to sell more permits. The scenery is still nice, but it seems that the lake dried out a while ago.

It is absolutely beautiful! The entrance was kind of hard to find so here’s a little help: when you’re coming from Bled there will be a house ~150 meters before the bridge. Ignore the house and the small way to it but slow down and take the next, slightly hidden, path to your right. It will directly head to the sandbank at the riverside.

Basic, pas de commentaire particulier pour un Walmart. J'ai trouvé bien mieux le lendemain au bord du lac, voir mon point ajouté.

Besides the gasstation, off the road. Quiet, good sanitary station, clean, open the whole night. The parking lot has electricity 220V. Inside the restaurant WiFi. Friendly people.
The other gasstation BR 1km away is near the road, quite noisy

It gets pretty windy around here and everything is pretty munched fenced along the C13 between Rosh Pinah and here. There is a turn off leading to those buildings of an old diamond mine. All abandoned. Buildings are open some rooms are dirty some only dusty. You can pitch your tent on the left hand corner of the front porch of the main building. You will be sheltered from the fury of the winds. However plenty of choice to camp inside or outside there are various buildings and trees. The WiFi is slow. Just kidding!

Good sized flat area with great views and homemade stone fire rings. The road gets pretty rough once you start to climb the hill but is manageable if taken slowly.

Super nice, creative and clean hostel. However, as we were there by car you need to park and sleep on the street. The street is not particularly quiet at night so we did not like it so much.

Nice place, stayed 3 nights there in the end. Local food they cooked for us was good. Nobody else was around, toilet is good, shower too. Martin (the host) was a sailor and visited many countries. Interesting conversations. The private beach is jist in front of you. Overall is a great place. 3G reception fron Africell is also there.

Lovely lovely old hacienda with big grassy lawn and space for vans and tents. Big harmless dogs that sometimes are a bit growly at night but no big deal. Fireplace indoors! The owners don’t live here but there’s a guy named Adrian who works here and speaks English, Spanish, and German. Gets very cold at night and is beautiful but freezing for camping. Safe.
