We went there because we arrived a bit late and the prices seemed ok. They first wanted to charge us 30.000 pp, we showed them that booking would charge only 38.000 for two (shared bathroom). In the end they just matched that price. The room was nice. The common areas are a bit run down, the kitchen was quite dirty. In the night the toilet was clogged and we told them but they didn’t care to fix it until the next day. WiFi is okayish. Owners are friendly but for our taste a bit too easygoing.
Overall I wouldn’t stay there again.

possible to camp in the courtyard of the church.
water available on the backyard and for tents it's possible to pitch under the shelter to be protected of sun or rain.
please respect this spot, keep it clean and for people who stay with a motorhome or van, bring your rubbish to the next main city

stopped by here but low trees & narrow entrance stopped me entering with truck camper. Picked wild grapes though, tons of them there.

marked place is right on main Street, talked to the tire guy & parked there when he closed. Def weed Central among other things, don't need to smoke to get a hit just walk down street. Owner of the tire store said Redway used to be a really nice town but has been taken over by people looking for work trimming weed & they still keep coming

Renzo is very nice guy! He helped us with all our car issues: they checked the automatic transmission, fixed our 4x4 and clean and readjust the breaks. We also had some trouble with the check engine alert and he showed us how to check the computer on our own for the next time and gave us the list of all the codes.
They are usually very busy, make sure you contact him in advance.
Really great team!

We did the tour today with Roger and his wife. This was really lovely and so interesting! Three of us cars slept in front of Rogers place (one on the soccer field which the neighbours said was totally fine) and had a great nights sleep. When we were on the tour, Roger asked one of his neighbours to watch our cars as well. Great end to our time in Peru.

As described. Pretty busy with dog walkers but fairly quiet at night. Decent place for a night in Victoria.

~100m spur south off the main road to a clearing that looks like it is occasionally used as a shooting range. Out of sight of the road and quiet though. 30-40 min from Etosha South Gate.

Literally appears to just be pulled off on the side of the road - it’s a quiet road, but there’s a better spur to an off road clearing ~2km further down.

Great spot! We arrived on a Sunday and the place was packed, we met some very friendly school children who were super interested in our van. Everyone cleared out by evening. A few other overlanders and some local campers. Clean bathrooms, a nice pool, and beautiful waterfall. 15s per car.

A lovely campground off a dirt road. Each site has a wooden three wall and roof structure for your tent or fire watching. Good place if you expect rain. Small village with gas and some drinks a few miles down the road.

Don't think you need 4x4, but roads get a little rough but not too bad. Could take a car if you go nice and slow.

Here on a Monday with the place to ourselves

Ten bucks a night.

We disagree on "not worth the high entrance fee":
1st: the 200tsd Rl . are about what you'd pay for a sip of beer in Western Europe
2nd: while it is true you cannot get close to the tombs, you will see incredibly big and impressive stone reliefs which you definitely CANNOT see from the entrance or the road side
We almost gave this site a miss based on the comments from judith_wilfred - we are happy we went there!

Very nice campground. We were here 2 night, all alone. Super friendly staff (guardaparque). Hot shower, Wi-Fi, parilla's, one short walk, one medium walk(all for free). Visit of 2 observatories(@marginal cost).

Great place to relax and to treat yourself with a cozy cabin or a nice room (no camping!). The cabins have a fireplace, a privat bath, a sofa and good beds. The food is great and made of locally grown ingredients (own greenhouses and fields). The Lazy Dog Inn supports the local communities and works with local workers. A great place, highly recommend.

We sought out Luis while we were in Coca. We didn’t get the deal that the others got, but the price was still better than we could find anywhere else. Luis is a very friendly guide who knows a lot about plant medicine and all the life in Yasuni. Highly recommend!

There is a dirt track down to the river bed. Amazing place, sheltered from wind from a lot of big bushes and trees. Ground is grassy and dry. Completely flat spots, lot of wood for a fire. Any old fire places. Also perfect to place tents. Big trucks no problem to place between the trees.
1km ago we have seen a big bear 🐻direct at a locals house. Seems that they know him well.
