We stayed two nights. To reach this spot you have to drive through town (narrow cobbled streets, low wires) then up a dirt road (lots of washed out ruts, some deep). Don’t need 4WD but reasonable clearance advised. Go left at the fork just after google says you’ve arrived.
Full LTE with Telcel. Not very flat, but ok. Shady and lovely views.

stayed here one night. As described there are some pull off's along this gravel road. at my time, there was all wet, dirty and swampy. But anyway... it was a very quiet night :-).
The most pull off's are not very level and to small for big rig's. I also think, that bigger vehicles have an problem to turn around. With my Ford E150 18ft no issues.

really nice spot for camping in the forest (and climbing).
accessible for all kind of rigs.

there are basically two areas to camp:
one area right after the entrance on the left hand side. nice picnic areas and playground, pit toilets; also some cabanas
another area up the hill (newly prepared road), where you find pit toilets but also ones with running water. there are also designated areas for tents with fire places.

price for entry increased to 25 pesos per person kind of. the second day, the guy came by and sold us tickets for 20 pesos per pesos. Maybe its more expensive on the weekend. We stayed for two nights.
I think the ticket booth closes at 5 pm and opens at 9 am. I added the park rules in a picture.

maybe worth noting: I think there are a couple of stray dogs living in the forest. we went for a morning run and scared them away when they saw us. they are very shy.

Small campground with common room for campers. There's a common gas cooker and some cooking equipment. Hot and very clean showers, a little hard to adjust. Owner explained everything but was not really interested.

It is a parking that works 24H in downtown. It has toilates and security guard. They don't have shower and the toilet is not very cleaned, but ok. We found a good option for a short stay in Rosario. They allowed we sleep inside the car. Price per day was 240 pesos. They have spot around 4 meters high that feets our Defender with roof tent.

There is no chance to stay at the entrance car park which would be be perfect this point is on the road to. The cave guided tour has to be booked via a tour company. I turned up and was able to get on the 730am group the next day for 50us$ without food.

Free, quite e close to the acess road to Death Valley. Good option for one night. It's just in the side of the paved road, don't need 4x4 or high clearance

Basic camp ground in a bend or a river, almost surrounding the place. Jacqueline is a very sweet host - she loves this place and it shows. And she enjoys foreign guests. She even found an extension cord for our fridge.

We paid CLP 6000 per person.

Stayed one night and found it as described, secluded but a bit noisy. There was construction equipment pushing dirt around on the opposite side of the road to add to that. Being unfamiliar with the area and arriving at night we didn’t feel super safe there, but we took a few precautions and stayed anyway. Didn’t run into anybody or have any problems though. Would recommend for a night. Just remain aware of your surroundings while there.

Still 200pp.

The access road is ok the first 60km (good ripio, we drove at 70km/h). The 70km after are really tough : lot of potholes and some washboards.
The road was under construction when we passed, so maybe it will be better now !
After all, it worth it !!!

Beautiful spot by volcano. No protection from the wind and some traffic from people driving to the tubes. But still a great spot, would camp here again.

Nice place, also stayed for two nights. Many different tracks go there from the main road. Can be a bit confusing when arriving at night. Use satellite picture to navigate.
Good "basecamp" if you want to take the narrowgauge train from Septemvri for a daytrip and come back in the evening.
