Ruins of what used to be houses, probably destroid by the hurricane. Nice views, a little bit windy, but very quiet...had a great night! Easy road access! (perfect after all the detours coming from the north).

For tent campers: there are traces of a fire pit inside one of the "houses", you can put your tent inside to be protected from the wind.

Lets keep it clean as it is now!

Nice camping at the clean beach with palapas and flush toilets. At low tide you can walk a quarter mile to the sea. The view along the beach is great. Only two canadian campers stayed here with us and there are houses and vacation homes around. Check in is at Pete´s restaurant (342 Pesos). Compared with the other RV Parks in San Felipe this one is much better with much more space.

$85/ night for a "Deluxe Patio Site" which was big enough for a long Sprinter plus a 20 ft trailer and Toyota Tacoma. Next to the LA County Fairgrounds. Sites are packed close. This is a place you stay to be a tourist in LA, but not for relaxing all day at camp.

Tent sites and Cabins are terrible, farthest from the bathroom, and you have to park your vehicle far from them.

Showers are awesome. Plenty of hot water. There is also a hot tub, pool and decent laundry. There is a sports bar with horse race betting across the street.

Like previous posts this place is beautiful! Big crashing waves, picturesque cove, stunning sunset, etc.

However, they are charging 3,000 pesos per vehicle now and you also have to pay to use the bathroom each time (500). They say they are charging this to maintain the road, the bathrooms, a first aid shack, and haul out trash. I'm not sure how much trash used to be here but they could definitely do a better job at cleaning up. If staying more than 1 night maybe the 3k is worth it? Still however it's unfortunate that such a beautiful place could have so much trash. You can tell they are trying to have visitors clean and they are building little trash dumps. Maybe come with a few trash bags and haul it out or at least help clean a bit.

Can get very windy and therefore dusty and ocean is treacherous so NOT for swimming at all. That said, we did enjoy our last night on the coast before ending our 1.5 year trip from California to Patagonia :)

Loved this place, we had a great week and were sad to leave. Frans and Anneke are the best hosts. The campground, toilets and shower are modern and clean. And it’s dogfriendly!
It’s right on a beautiful beach where you can swim and snorkel. The boat trips offered by Don Taco to snorkel and/or see dolphins are very recommended.

Clean bus station with good places to put the tent up sheltered from the wind. Nice and quiet with just one other cyclist here.

Toilets and waiting room locked when I arrived at 9pm but a lady came and unlocked them at 9.30 the next morning.

The waiting room is amazing with sofas and electric sockets, and the free government WiFi is the fastest I’ve had in 4 months in Chile and Argentina!

I knew another cyclist had been horse riding here so I stopped to enquire about riding the following day and whether I could camp. I was shown to a large house with 10 beds, hot water, flush toilets and electricity all to myself free of charge! Looks like maybe it’s used for seasonal workers? After battling the crazy wind for hours it was heaven.

The area is nice, right on the beach of Enseada dos Lagos and with a beautiful view of Vulcan Osorno. The spots are quite tight but tables are covered and there is electricity. The bathrooms could be better, the water was hot but not enough, so for tall or more strong person, it is difficult. We paid 20.000 pesos for 4 adults.

Best cazuela in whole Chile. 3000Peso.
The beef cazuela is excellent and you don't need food for the rest of the day.

the smal Restaurant doesn't look good at the first sight. It's located between the other Artesanal shops if you go direction de la mar on the left side.

Don't miss it.

Here you can easily extend your tourism VISA for a month. It cost 30$ and one week to process. You have to give your passeport, an ID picture and fill a form.
They keep your passeport and give you a receipt.

Commercial Hot Springs with camping in Tenopah AZ. Bit of a "hippy" vibe. Hot spring water is pumped into various pools and bath tubs on site. You can reserve private pools but be aware that nudity is required in the public area. There are showers and flush toilets on site. There seems to be a few cabins available as well. I paid $30 for soaking and camping. You can soak the next morning as well with an overnight stay, or there is a day rate as well if you just want to soak. Overall not the worst place I've paid to stay but keep your expectations low.

I am not sure the exact name of the camp we stayed at within Khutseh, but it was close to the main gate and had around 10 pitches, which each had lovely views, drop toilets and bucjet showers. Note that there is no water at the campsitr so make sure you fill up at the gate, where they have a tap near the bathrooms. We had the entire campsite to ourselves, and were met with a breathtaking sunset and sunrise with lighting storms in the distance. It is a bit pricey to stay in the park, especially as we did not see any wildlife our 2 days and 1 night we were there but it was pretty special.

Cost: If I am not mistaken it was 350 pula per person to camp in the park.

Museo gratuito. Tiene un sector de exposición etnológica muy interesante y un parque súper grande donde hay gran variedad de plantas y la explicación de sus usos. Lo único malo es que tienen aves encerradas en jaulas. Recorrerlo lleva aproximadamente 3hs.

Just thought about the food the burger again and it made me so mad that I have to leave another comment. The food they serve in comparison to the money they charge you, it was probably the worst restaurant experience in my life! No kidding

We stayed here in our converted Free to be Fit school bus overnight!
Had no issues!
Was told by a Park Ranger that it was 24 hour parking and that as long as we do not “set up camp” and stay for too long we could park for the night and he knew we would be sleeping in our bus.
No hook-ups, tent space or anything but a free place to park and sleep in your home on wheels!!

During our stay in Malawi, we visited Floja twice. Pauline and Andre were extremely helpful and friendly. The funds for the camping goes to the foundation. They support young children via a creche and provide meals for them. Really a good cause and beautiful place to stay in Northern Malawi

Good value. G45000 a night. The rooms are looking a little bit tired and the communal furniture could do with sprucing up but it's a good functional hostel in a good location. You can get good prices on Booking.com.
The hosts are friendly helpful people. There's air conditioning but it's not on in the daytime.
Secure parking for my motorcycle and big enough for a few cars.

Wonderful campsite. Rustic old farm and warm helpful couple who are the hosts. Our best campsite in Chile. Clean bathrooms and a kitchenette for campers. Highly recommended. Good view of the bay. Green lawn for your tent. Quiet. Farm animals around you.
