Basic rooms for 12‘000, 15‘000 and 20‘000tsch. I got the 15‘000 one and it was all I needed. running water, shower, clean, fan, mosquito net and enough space to put the bicycle in!

We must have had the same guy behind the desk because he was joking around all the time. Really helpful staff but it was quite busy (probably because of the holidays) so we got our visa in 2 days.

It costs 50 000 CFA for single entry visa.
We needed a copy of the passports, and a copy of the Ivory Coast visa, and the copy of the yellow fever booklet.

Back again with my bike. Couldn’t recommend this place as they broke parts on two of our bikes while they were working on them.
They put metal bar through my rear wheel to hold while loosen front sprocket. Resulting in bent Spokes which snapped the next day.

Fantastic place, great people, draught beer, amazing food and amazing value.

I am travelling on a motorcycle and the people I met here have been such great help with all things, especially funding parts for my KTM motorcycle. They cannot do enough. Best place to land up!

Situated in a grove of indigenous trees and palm trees a short distance from Lake Eyasi. Wonderful shade for camping under a huge old Tamarind Tree. We paid U.S.$10 pppn. Sadi is a wonderful host. He invited us to a bbq with his friends for New Year the day we arrived. Great fun! We loved our two nights here.

Hello
So quiet night here.....no it's a joke!!!
But it's a good (and noisy!) place to park your motorhome for the night.
It's just near the road so it's noisy but there is not so much place to sleep on this road..
The man who work here when we arrived was so friendly and put our truck under the light and not on the big parking with the other truck in the dark.
He propose us to take a fresh shower and the toilets for free.
We have refill water for our thank.
The station is open all night and the people who work have a look on you....
What else.....yes....a cofee!

Cool spot. The parking spaces are pretty tight. We decided to just head to another area since we are a relatively large vehicle(a little smaller than a sprinter van). We might try again tomorrow.

Awesome hostel, super cheap, super chilled out. In a nice quiet town. Ran by a lovely couple whom both speak English. Best place to come to relax and surf.

hello

We didn't find it and every tap we could see around was closed. But there is a lady who seems to wait for you to give you some water. We don't know the price because she didn't speak english. We were still half full and she was offering too little quantity for us so we left. But if you don't have anymore water, you can at least find some here.

Start at Pescadero, head down to Cepita, up to San Andres, then to this camp spot and on to Cerritos or do this backwards and enjoy what looks like Austria in Colombia. The little towns are beautiful and friendly along the way. This camp site is a flat spot where someone is quarrying rock. Amazing view at well over 12,000 feet in elevation. (couldn't find the name of the mountain so we named it haha!)

What a great wild camp site with a view! The pan had water in it, so we basically had a lake view site all to ourselves! A farmer drove around in the evening and our fresh tracks were obvious, but he didn‘t care and never came by. This was one of my favorite wild camp sites to date. However, this time of year (early January) the track was narrow thanks to the bushes, and we definitely have a few scratch souvenirs in our paint. This time of year it is not big-rig friendly and should be avoided if you really care about your paint.

Beautiful bush area around a natural waterhole. We stayed one night very quite. Just camp after the water so you avoid few cars during the night going around the farms. Some friendly workers in the morning.

We came around 16.00, claimed a nicely leveled spot in the first parking row under big tree, went for walk and dinner, waited for the start of the video show projected on the Cathedral.

Around 23.00 all bars and restaurants closed and by 23.45 it was quiet.

* 4 bars on Telcel
* Street lighting
* 24hour/day security presence in the government building across the street

We did stay one night, had no problems of any kind. Good, secure spot....

Video projection sponsored by the government and Tourism Office, free for viewers.

Each day, official start at 21.00.

* First run in Spanish
* Second run in English

Incredible wide "screen" spanning the lenght of whole Cathedral facing the park. Best viewing spot is in the middle between 4 projectors (4 boxes on the posts).

To me, it was one of the nicest video projections of this type I have seen so far. This despite the fact that some information presented is a rosy governament version of the history.
