Right next to the road but was quiet on a Saturday night, we were the only people there. Lots of space and no amenities but it’s free, a good spot to stop if your heading out or into BBNP.

The Elephant Mountain campground was closed for the month of March but looked like it would also be a basic but good option.

Street parking next to dog park. No issues. Pretty quiet at night, but can be a busy road in the morning.

It's not free. $5, payable inside. It's an honor system. No code, lock or anything.

Just find a good spot over a mile in and set up camp. Probably won’t need 4x4, but you’ll definitely need to take it slow. I passed a schoolie that made it in just fine.

Home Super nice to 150 NA PPP, in addition to the French the boss speaks a very good French (it's guide for agencies francophone) and his wife Bomba is an excellent stove.
Pour les français une bonne halte pour la nuit avec des discûtions intéressantes. Cela me manquait!

Still here. Many different types of RVs in the yard. We didn’t have work done. Just stopped by to take a look.

Day use paved parking, restrooms and potable water, all free. Water is a spigot with garden hose threads near the restrooms. Probably best for filling containers - it would need a long hose to fill tanks directly.
Emigrant campground, also free, is 50 yards west with a separate entrance

Very nice basic campsite at the beach. The clean facilities are basic and there is only electricity at the main building.
A lot of shade under the palms, also you can use the kitchen.
There is a new road between Sierpe and this place. Use the ferry and follow the road afterwards. Google doesn't find a way to the place.
The campsite is nice, the sunsets are amazing and Drake not far away. All in all the campsite is a little too pricey with 10$ p.p.p.n

Beautiful Camping spot, even for tents. Showers and toilets available, amazing beach, gigantic sanddune. The owner is really nice, he will tell you a lot about turtles if you're interested. He said we just have to pay a donation, it's for the turtle protection. We gave him 100 pesos for 2 of us and a dog. They also serve really good food, fresh fish and cold beer.

This nice RV park has it all. Water for $10. Propane. A little grocery store. Showers. Super cheap stay too if you need. I couldn't change the rating for whatever reason. I'd give it a 5!

Visited on a weekend and it was awesome. Very family friendly fun. We aired down our tires to about 25 psi in our Sprinter to make the journey easier. Very clean place. The hot springs are opened 24 hours it looked like. When we were leaving on Monday they had emptied the pools and were scrubbing them. 440 MXP/ $13 USD for camping for a van with two people. Absolutely no signal, WiFi is 100 MXP/hour.

We went here to stay for one night, but the parking lot was crowded with trucks, and we could not find any place to park our car.
We used the bathroon and it was really good - large and clean.
We left before sunset and got a hotel parking lot.

confusing since signage states "pay area" but maybe that's just to the right. This area is to the left. asked the ranger guy but his reply was hesitant and less than clear. didn't stay. better to just stay at slab city.
