Great overnight. If you park on the far north/west side you have a nice view of the mountains and the spots are fairly level. Quiet night.

Estuvimos cinco noches en San Félix y parqueamos en el parque. Es un corregimiento muy tranquilo y se caracteriza por la amabilidad de su gente. No dejen de ir al bosque de Palma de cera " La Samaria"

We arrived a bit late (around 7.30pm), the guardian opened up the gate for us and we could park in the field for free. We could use his bathroom and fill up our water tank easily (many exterior faucets. In the morning we had a great swiss pie, delicious but not cheap. Highly recommend the spot for a night !

we were overcharged for fuel here and had to ask for a receipt. We had half a tank and were just filling up to be safe. we had them add 2 bottles of additive a well... our receipt was for ~$2000! They definitely overfilled the tank, but our tank only holds 68 liters and they pumped (supposedly) 44 liters into the tank. When my husband asked why it was so expensive he tried to explain that the additive was expensive then suddenly "realized" he'd overcharged us and gave us $830p in cash.... my husband also suspects we were double charged, but we'll need to check our bank later.

The bathrooms were nice, though!

Dispersed camping near Santa Fe. Lots of room, very quiet, with great views of the mountains.

There are signs that says no overnight parking as well as a security guard was also just walking around. We didn't risk staying here because we didn't want to get fined.

Forest Service Road 568 continues up past the first open area to another pull-off. One other group tent camping when we arrived. We had to take some time to maneuver our van back onto the little point to avoid crowding the others but definitely worth it! Some late-afternoon sun and a nice perch. A bit muddy in early March. Some fire rings around. Beyond the point, the road was snowy and not passable for our 2WD Promaster.

After visiting the mission we spent the night here. A quiet spot with goats and burros. As there were 3 trucks we pulled a little farther into a larger flat area.

Great spot! Stayed here for 6 nights. Many sites to choose from and easy to find. Camp host is on Dome Rock Rd just past Cholla Rd and she is very friendly and knowledgeable. After getting our permit with the camp host we circled back to Cholla Rd and came in to the Dome Rock BLM that way. Lots of OHV on the two tracks that can create a ton of dust so if you can find a spot a tad away from the two tracks you’ll be happy. Rocky but not too bad with our trailer. Not crowded at all. Could still see other campers in the distance but felt remote. 3 bars of of ATT. You can hear the highway but it was far enough away that it was more like white noise. No problems with pests or insects either.

We stayed here one night, the dirt road leads around the corner but goes nowhere and is a little more out of sight. Beautiful views, peaceful but very windy on the night we stayed. It’s on a hill above the beach but you can access by foot.

Water in the middle diesel fueling bay, red frostproof hydrant. The water is not labelled potable but I’ve drank over 30 gallons from here and I am strongly certain it is tap water.

Beautiful spot at the edge of the Rio grande next to the trail that takes you to the Manby hot springs. Need a high clearance vehicle to get here, rough road with big holes in it.
