Cute spot to camp. It’s off the interstate so like other reviewers mentioned, you can hear the traffic. If this had been further off the interstate, it would’ve been a beautiful spot. The lake itself was really nice and we were the only ones there.

No “no” signs, in a 30mph zone, and is a bit further away from the road than a normal pullout. You can buy oysters across the street

Nice camp site. Clean toilets, water, place to wash utensils and barbeque, picnic tables.
500 yen charges per tent & 200 management fee. There is nobody to take the fees, but there is a box to put the money. They seem uto be very furious about people not paying, there are lot of signs to pay 😅

The phone number on the website wasn’t working and I didn’t get a reply to my email or WhatsApp. We showed up anyway because we didn’t have much choice. The road is indeed quite bumpy and it would be advisable to arrive before sunset. Elmer was there when we arrived and gave us a warm and friendly welcome. The place looks a little bit rundown and not in operation atm. However we could take a warm shower in one of the rooms and use a toilet outside. All a bit dirty but ok. Price is still 30 per car and 10 pp for a hot shower. Had a nice and quiet night.

A beautiful place, close to the river. Trees for sitting in the shade. Green flat area to stand. Beautiful view of the mountains. We were here for 2 days. No 4x4 needed

Confirmed still no signs prohibiting camping. One of the uglier little campsites in my month of wild camping around Alaska, but when every other campsite is full & it’s late it will do.

Not very level at all except right in the mud pit adjacent to the stagnant pond that breeds mosquitos; used firewood to level the truck a bit further away. Trash everywhere from other campers to pick up. More road traffic this far up the road than you’d expect. But it was a place to crash for the night.

Mtn bike trail head parking. Parking lot does have a gate but locals say only closed in winter or area closures. Large parking lot with another 10 spots outside gate if it is closed. One new long drop toilet. Remember it’s a trail head parking lot not a campground.

Five designated spots in the mall parking lot near the CIBC bank. Must contact the mall ahead of time to reserve a spot and get a overnight parking permit.
https://southcentremall.com/rv-parking-reservation/
Parking lot patrolled by security and permit must be visible in windshield.
Lot was quiet at night and we slept soundly. We stayed two consecutive nights which is the maximum.

Good spot to spend a Monday, June night- 67 degrees and nice breeze, but heats up to 95+ by noon. I was the only one in the vicinity, so quiet, minimal freeway noise.

accessible again, nice views of the river, but no shelter and only space for 1 vehicle (seems that the river washed away some of the ground), small grassy patch for a tent, close to the road

If you have a Toyota, go here! Best car workshop I've been to while traveling, ever. Especially the director Sergei, marketing and sales guy John and technical consultant Akbar were a great help and very nice guys. Sergei and John are both fluent in English, which is a blessing while traveling to foreign countries with your car.

The hourly rate is very cheap compared to Europe. They also went above and beyond to find car parts for us or find creative solutions.

These guys somehow made a car workshop feel like home. And most importantly, they fixed our car with free check up after some driving as well.

Several nice big rig friendly spots. Ground is level, road is in good shape. I got my 35ft. 5th down it with no issues. Elk, Moose, and Bear area. So, keep food and goods picked up.

This is both a self-service laundromat and a place to drop off your clothes and have them washed or dry cleaned.

New, modern machines. This is the third laundry we’ve used in Quito and recommend it the most if you are camping at Parque La Carolina.

Prices of machines:
Small - $3.50
Medium - $4.60
Large $5.70
Dryer (huge): $2.60 for 48 minutes.

Promotion everyday: Wash with two machines or more, get the dryer free.

The area is a chill residential area with some shops. There’s a bakery and a fruit shop/market 1 minute down the road. The parking is easy and fits up to 6.5m long vehicles. Super friendly woman working when we stopped by.

3.5. But no options for half stars.

Showers are a little dated, maybe could be cleaner, or revamped so they LOOK cleaner but other wise fine for what they are.

$12+ for the shower but no towels. There is an upside to that though- no water softener turned up to 11 so you can actually get rinsed off.

Shower power is 10/10 but shower curtain sucks in and gets water everywhere. Bring your flip flops or crocs, and a suction cup soap dish.

All in all I’d come again.

Can’t say about winter, but this is a great stop in June. Tons of flat space and ok paved road. Couple bars of ATT 5g. It is a skiing/multi use trailhead. Some horse poop, but it was a fine and quiet spot. No road noise, couple day use people and only one overnighter besides us. Signs say parking only with permit, but I’d guess that is during the snow season. No one bothered us. Nice forest views. Some shade.

I put this on attraction to facilitate our search in this app. Great aquapark and very cheap. Clean, semi Olympic pool with toboggan and river. Many shadows and trees. Water is hot not cold. Perfect! Great stop between Pantanal both and Brasilia. You can sleep in the parking. No problem. Open every days except Monday. 10 R pp and 5 per kids under 7. There is a restaurant here. There is locked 30R but give your back 20. So it is 10 R. Possible to pay all with credit cards
