Awesome spot with great views. Little un-level but that’s no biggie. Gravel spread around on site mixed with dirt so good traction. Some bees here in June 2024. 1-2 bars of LTE on Verizon which is a big jump for a solid 1. It’s 3:00 pm here and it’s 68° blue sky’s down to 46° tonight. Lots of sun light for solar charging. 🏔️ Happy Trails 🤙🏻

Word of caution for pet owners. We are finding glass on the ground from broke bottles. Near fire rings.

Nice campsite at Machu Pichu. Cheapest option in town and much more peaceful. Friendly staff, great grassy area, tables and cold shower. Even electricity 24 hrs.

Good place to base yourself for visiting Machu Pichu, from here you can easily get to the starting point of the hike in 5 mins

Easily drove the forest roads before sundown in 24’ Sprinter. Tmobile had one bar, clearing enough for StarLink and turnaround. Many ticks! Peaceful night, check it out.

$20 for overnight here by the motel. Some shade depending on size of your rig. Was fine jn my van and pretty quiet. Cools down a touch at night. No other options on the way to Havasupai Falls. Shower/toilet in one of the gutted hotel rooms accessible for all campers. Gets the job done.

This street has no signs, I ask, and it's free to park for max 72hs.
It's not perfect level, but I can sleep well. Noisy in the day, at night it's ok. Close to the palisades

Beautiful, peaceful place. Quiet and great 360 views of Cedars and green fields. Good wind shelter between the trees. And the Cedars smell like Christmas. Can definitely recommend.

Great CG not ruined by recreation.gov (yet); 1st come sites available & reserved sites “must be occupied 1st night”; & most were but several went unused. Beautiful mountains with snow still; I walked 4 miles up the road (which was closed due to work going on at Angle Lake CG). The lake was tiny but looked swimmable, but since they were working on the damn (?) I didn’t go for it. Saw 3 harmless snakes (one in cg). Cat seemed safe here. Watched NBA finals on phone w/ AT&T.

officially this area is closed. It is obvious they want you to stay at the RV park. you may get away with a night or two, if you are in a van and not easily recognized as a camper.

Nice little campground with paved spots. I had Site 10, and found it was on a significant slope; almost 4.5°. I was barely able to get my level within specs for the refrigerator..

Pretty chill, right on the lake so the views are sick. Has a little table and bench. No fire pits here but there are garbage cans which is nice. Solid spot.
