Working hours are still the same according to people in the previous town. We passed at 1820 and they were locking up. We couldn't find the natural pool following the warm water.

Nice view of the Volcano indeed. But very windy and no protection, our little L300 was shaking.

Great place to spend the night, close to the lighthouse, several possible locations, large enough to respect everyone's privacy. Magnificent landscape at dusk. We recommend!

Super endroit où passer la nuit, à côté de Charlottetown, proche du phare, plusieurs emplacements possibles, assez vaste pour respecter l’intimité de chacun. Magnifique paysage à la tombée du jour. On recommande!

Simple but clean hotel, private bathroom. No wifi and aircon. We (2 people) paid 240 som for a twin room. We were asked if we are married and even qsked for a certificate, which we hadn't. Still nice owner.
The restaurant offers different meals (lagman, shashliks, plov...).

No water in the canal when we were there but there is a gas station at the crossing with A376 road that sells 6L water bottles and have a water tap.

this street has quite a few spots of street parking that has a 4 hour limit before 7 pm but no posted signs outside of that time. slept overnight, it's not quiet, but great for if you have an event. felt safe. trash, food, etc all close by

We drove further into the gravel road with all the campsites to check for a free spot but literally all spots were already taken today, a Saturday, by 5:30 pm. We could not believe. So we drove out again and are staying here at the big gravel spot with many other vehicles.
Here you find a pit toilet but no further amenities. No T-Mobile reception.

It is now 7:50 pm and there are still vehicles arriving, some of them leaving again - towards Hwy 26 - as they didn't get one of the more secluded camping spots further inside either.

the Place Is safe, friendly people, 30r for night. I decided to go in the next petrol station for free.

Checked with security right inside the entrance and they asked me to park in the center of the parking lot as to not interfere with horses/trailers in a race night.
They confirmed I had a van as they are trying to avoid the big rigs

Worth the detour. Great little campground sites are not too close to each other. two river awesome RV dump and potable water refill. very scenic view of mountains all around. Cavern tours were awesome. little to no cell service.

Easy and fast track to Kubu Island. After exiting the tarred road stick to the single lane sandy road heading south. A bit corrugated and bushy in the beginning, follow the power line for a few hundred meters. Then the track becomes a straight line as the pan opens up. After 13 km from the road turn right on a wide track. Follow this one southwards all the way down to Tamau

Just south of Chicken Alaska. Large area with room for a dozen campers. No toilets, no fire rings. No cell service. Several RV’s here and we stayed a night. Right by highway but relatively quiet.

Due to the heat, escorts, pilgrim buses in konvoj we asked the Levies to stop in Dalbandin. They were very kind, we were accommodating in a small room with Toa and shower. Our biker jackets worked well as sleeping madras.
The station is a jailhouse.
They have own well fresh water. You should bring your food. We had only good dates with us.
No food, but you stay for free.
Bike was inside, well protected.

Superbe petit endroit, espace pour une van 21 pieds mais rien de plus gros, serait difficile de manœuvrer.
Chemin étroit et sinueux mais aucun problème pour remonter la côte.
Près de l’eau, endroit tranquille et serein.

Huge supermarket, where you find all you need. Prices however are incredibly high. It's inside a shopping mall, with clothes, hair dresser, food court etc.

The last km or 2 of the red clay/mud road getting here is sketchy in the rain (think: skating rink) but this spot is so worth the trip. Even though it’s raining, the sea is beautiful and my dog can run. Magnificent.

We didn’t stay here because the public toilets (300 pesos) were only open from 9AM to 6PM and the showers were closed.

We parked at the open field in front of the aspen grove. Fire ring with room for 4 or more tents. Not flat for a rig, but used levelers for my truck. I highly recommend not bringing anything bigger than a small truck camper. Lots of branches, tight turns on the road and it is BUMPY. Nice spot for starlink, only 1 bar of 4G on verizon (enough for texts). There are a few spots farther down the road amongst the Pines and then one epic spot next to the pond. We decided to stay here because I figured the bugs would have been worse by the pond. Some day time ATV noise. Epic views!!

Good parking lot with several other overnighters. No problems, felt safe

We reached the parking from Laya with our rig 6x2.15x3.3m, wheelbase 3.7m, with turbo. The road is in good condition, no more landslides. We recommend low gear, without maybe not possible.

Came down from the colored Mountains this way. It's not as good as the road from Layo, but ok for our rig 6x2.15x3m, wheelbase 3.7m.

Police, I asked if I could camp somewhere and they told me I could stay in the room behind the station. there's a bathroom although it's a bit dirty. they told me that travelers often stay here

Down the street from the hospital in the residential area were no signs not to street park. We saw other stealth campers parked and decided to park in front of a van. We weren’t bothered all night. It’s a busy street but we were able to sleep.

Large gravel lot with amazing panoramic views of the ocean. Many cars come and go during the day to admire the view. 3 cars and an RV turned up and stayed the night. The lot is sloped, even with 3 inches of blocks my van was still at a tilt. But other than that this was a spectacular free spot for the night.

Supposed Inca cemetery. Discovered by construction machinery, the bones and clothes were left behind and pushed on the side of the track. The last km to access it must be done on foot because there is a barrier.
