Stayed here another night. The parking lot is owned by Pendleton (not the city). It is ok to stay the night, but you must contact them and ask for permission.

Nice spot overlooking the ocean. Lots of parking spots on the grass it is rockey underneath. Quiet with the odd car going by. very windy. Saw horses wandering around in the community pasture. in the morning there was a thump on the side of our van then another and another. when i went to investigate there were a dozen cows banging into our van , two young cows play fighting and one licking our side view mirror.

Really quiet spot, no issues with bears or traffic for that matter. Some trash strewn about. Good spot for the night.

24-hour fuel station. Super attentive people. It is in a place within the city but super quiet. Because it is located on a climb, it has a little noise but nothing that makes sleeping difficult. After 11 p.m., it is quiet. It has a bathroom, but only the toilet and sink, without a bath, but it is not very clean. There were two very quiet sleeps. The front holder made me available water to the Camper water tank. It is close to the Carrefou and Parque do Povo where there is the São João. I recommend the location and tranquility.

Stayed here on Tuesday night. Nice & quiet. Great views. On weekend I can see it getting little loud with local kids. Park as close as possible by the roadside where there is a fence. Enjoy Jerico

Very nice place to stay with ocean view and access to the beach. Very welcoming and friendly owners. As there is only space for 1-2 vans and they need the parking space also for their cabana guests, please contact Enrique via WhatsApp (+507 6920 4344) before arriving if they have space. There is a hammock to chill and you can use the barbecue and kitchen.

Nice long wide rest area. Dumpster on one end. Pot toilet (clean) and boat launch on far end. Bridge noise but not a lot of traffic. Can walk to river. Good stop over

Really a beautiful and quiet place. JuanJosé knows a lot of the town and things to do in the area. Safe parking for motorcycles in front or at the new hotel he is building. He can also make the arrangements for the visit to Kuelap.

We’ve got permission to sleep in our truck in the parking area. Noisy traffic but will quieten down later. Everyone we’ve met has been very friendly and helpful. Dining in the restaurant. Good choice for a night.

Spent the night in the gravel pull through just before the campground. Cars passing by early evening but then quieted down.

We were lucky enough to do the combined tour "Pablo Escobar and Comuna 13" with Diego. It was a great day; we learnt so many things about the 80s and 90s.
The visit to Comuna 13 would have been much less worthwhile without Diego - he showed us the most impressive things and changes here.
His story, his information, his knowledge filled our evening with discussions - thank you, Diego.
We can recommend him 100%!

A really great place in the countryside!
Highly recommended.
Clean bathrooms, hot showers, possibility to cook and wash up in a large kitchen. Pool table, space to sit cosily inside in the rain and drink a beer.
Washing machine on site.
Shopping facilities and nice café within a 5-10 minute walk.
Uber taxi to the centre of Medellin in 45 minutes.
We left our camper for one night in El Bosque and took a hotel in Medellin / El Pablado district (Euro 50 / for 2 pers.)
We can highly recommend the private day tour "Pablo Escobar and Comuna 13" with Diego; he was part of this story himself and really knows what he is talking about. We had a great day, the price was totally worth it!
