A decent low cost, pet friendly hotel with secure parking. $450 mxn p/n for room with a fan, $550 mxn p/n for a/c. $500 mxn damage deposit for dog, returned upon checkout. Clean, great showers, hot water. The gated parking area will fit 2-3 smaller overland vehicles (trucks, jeeps, vans, small motorhomes/trailers), there is free street parking on a quiet street for big rigs. Walking distance to large mall with fast food & Soriana. We stayed here a few nights while getting some repairs done.

Perfect place to spend a windy day/night. Plenty of spots at both sides of the bridge. Supermarket is close

It's like a little (free) camping.

Over a stretch of about one kilometer there are plenty of spots right at the beach. Some with shade, some without. Every once in a while locals come nearby to go fishing or have picnic but most of the time you're alone. You're not completely blocked from the street but there is very little traffic (no traffic at night at all). With 4WD you could've tucked away even better. Yes, rubbish around but we cleaned around our spot. Lighting a fire is okay. Amazing sunsets. One of our favorite spots in Thailand.

Really good location if this is windy. we were there with a roof tent as it was crazy wind on the shore of the lake and this place is definitly one of the best for wind protection. althought as there is no doubt Carlos the owner is very very kind, be prepare for very old facility. hot shower was good but no pressure for long hair like mine. Price is still 250 pp.

All in all a good spot. Plenty of room. Bathrooms okay. Showers were closed. Didn’t try the restaurant. Plenty of dogs and chickens around. 2km from El Tajin. 150 pesos.

We slept here 4 nights with no problems at all. Police drive past every hour or so but if you remain fairly stealth like we did they don't stop.
It is more quiet than other areas along this street as it is in front of housing and a large grassy area. Still some noise though. It is right near the dock with public access to the lagoon and for us was the perfect safe place for us to sleep and leave our van during the day to explore.
It was a great free area with many places to park available and we totally recommend it.

10 pesos per kg but it took about 24 hours when we dropped it there on a Saturday.
I believe it would have been faster service if we went during the week.
It is a great affordable laundry service and you can take advantage of exploring Bacalar while you wait.

Parque dentro da capital de Buenos Aires com cameras de segurança, dentro do parque tem banheiro (sem chuveiro) que ficam abertos 24hs, pode abastecer água com os meninos da irrigação do parque, Wi-fi BA aberto, na quadra poliesportiva tem banheiro com chuveiro porém fecha às 21hs e abre as 9 da manhã. Pode sair e deixar o motorhome tranquilo a qualquer hora do dia sem preocupação, próximo a comissária de polícia que passa durante a noite fazendo ronda, água potável nós bebedouros, restaurante próximo, supermercado carrefour 24hs na esquina.

Passamos um mês aqui estacionado, super tranquilo, com banheiro, aparelhos de ginástica, parque para criancas, mercado, frutería tudo uma quadra antes do parque. Perto de todos os pontos turísticos de BsAs, 3 paradas de ônibus ao lado do parque.

Wow wow wow! A little oasis in the middle of nowhere. Highly recommended although perhaps avoid Sunday which seems to be the busiest day!

Really nicely decorated hostel. Rooftop lounge with view of top of Killi best early in the morning. Large very basic dorm room still 12,000. Smaller more luxurious 4 bed dorm 15,000. Double en-suite 40,000. Friendly and helpful staff. They let us securely park our big bike along the passage way. Breakfast not included. WiFi variable. Surprisingly very few people staying!

Water spigot on side of building (potable). Dump was also open.

Nice quiet spot. One or two bars of Verizon LTE. A couple of great horned owls nesting in the cliffs!

best spot. clean facilities with hot showers, other overlanders, water spouts everywhere, away from the road. if you ask nicely you may even be able to park under one of the massive yacht garages to get out of the rain. guard let us in after hours

Beautiful place and interesting layout for a church. Well worth a stop.

Best hostel so far !!! It was too windy for our rooftent in Rada tilly camping so we discovered this place on Booking (9,6!). Its 800pp for a bed in dorms with breakfast. Its a new hostel in a really nice house it feels like be at home, people are really nice and the breakfast is amazing with homemade bread and jam ! The dog Moka is so cute !!

Found this very nice spot in Isla Aguada. It’s literally above water and you have a 180 degree view of the lagoon, turquoise blue water! The lagoon is so big that you can’t see the land on the other side. It’s a little quieter than the other few spots by the gulf since there isn’t so many cars passing by. We came to have lunch a week ago at “Memin” restaurant on our way to Mahahual and absolutely loved their food and atmosphere on the beach that we came back for dinner. We asked them if we could stay and they agreed and were happy to have us for the night. They left the restroom unlocked for us. They’re super friendly, their food is delicious and view is gorgeous. From 6pm to 8pm some locals came to have a few drinks on the pier and left. They were quiet. It’s a fishing town and everyone’s vibe is just positive and stress free. Felt very safe. In the morning we went fishing with a local for 4 hours to learn how they fish. He charged us 100 USD we didn’t even try to bargain. We had a blast! It was worth every penny. We tipped them very well for the good time. I was charged $600 to go fishing in Los Cabos. Anyways, when we came back “Memin” cooked us a couple of our fishes and we left them the rest. Would definitely come back here if we’re in the area.

I paid for optional breakfast all I had was bread, margarine and dulce de leche (which I hate because it's basically pure sugar and industrial flavor chemicals), nothing else.

Not really any chill area, garbage wifi.

Spacious 4 people dorm.

Average I prefered way more el Pueblito Ecohostel which is the same price tag. If you have a bit more money, Casona de Odile is really really an awesome place. Pricier but nothing alike with this hostel for real.

Cabañas and possible parking for van camping. Nice friendly people. Can arrange private taxi to ruins with the man across the street on the south side

Really nice spot, close to the train so if that bothers you maybe try farther down. Right in between Austin st. And Magnolia, so it’s a quick walk to everything! Park in between the signs.

Was here at the beginning of March and it wasn't very crowded - lots of room between spots. Some ATVers during the day and depending where you camp there is so highway noise - other than that it was pretty quiet. Very scenic - 4WD roads back into the hills make good hiking. Decent cell service and data.

The green gate was closed but not locked! Just open it, drive thru, and close behind you. This is a great spot during summer but it was snow packed in winter (see pics) - not safe for RVs/trailers during snow season.
