amadar | Friendly police, recommend where to park, took our temp, our names and asked how many nights. Lots of room to park with large tees for shade on a tarmac car park. Felt safe and secure |

bridgetteboring | Free water at the rest area. Very fast flow, but it does not come out the hole you think it will. Definitely lots of splashing... But we are thankful for free water in the desert near Quartzsite |

knightj100 | A gravel car park with views of the sea above a nice cove and the small Vromoneri beach. No facilities in winter, although there's water and a shower on the beach in summer. A bit of litter - why can't people clear up after themselves? |

sierraindia87 | Stayed here for a night and was not bothered. Best for vehicles that can fit into a regular parking spot. No signs with any parking restrictions. It was busy until sunset and then things were quiet. Starts to get busy again around sunrise. Pet friendly park/trails! |

jcgvdb | Good service, coffee, cakes and ice cream! Hard to find these nice places in the desert of Namibia, so a very nice stop for a break after a long drive. We didn't have a look on the campsite but probably also good. |

chetlenox | Very nice little city park, on the river, with a nice loop and some individual "campsites". Not sure why the header for this location says "Permanently Closed", there were ~6 rigs parked here overnight. Cell service is ok (3 bars Verizon). Like folks say, watch for low trees. |

brittonellis | If you want a slice of paradise, come here! It’s literally on a private beach! We watch sunset everyday on the patio, swim in the waves, and awe at this life! Amazing vistas, unspoiled beaches, great restaurants in town, and everything you could ever need. The mechanic shop fixed up our rig, the welders fixed our bike rack, and the plentiful fresh seafood fixed our bellies! Man, we had such a good time here with the BEST people! We love Sandy & Elia! Rancho B rocks!! |

brittonellis | Loved our time here! True respite right on the lake! It got chilly at night and we slept amazingly with the sounds of the water echoing off the lake. Has tons of amenities and cute villages to visit everyday. Thermal pool was great, huge pool to sun at, eucalyptus sauna on weekends, tennis courts, soccer fields, and more. It’s awesome and affordable! |

psalm91 | This is what’s marked on the other wild camping spots. The gps takes you all the wrong ways. But this is the little parking area with great clean bathrooms! We woke to hear coyotes howling and all the birds on the water. Such a beautiful place!!! We wernt disturbed at all. 3 bars of LTE |

brittonellis | Cramped parking lot with hookups. Not big rig friendly. Charged us almost 700 pesos per night because we tow a car with our 22ft rig and we have 3 kids. There’s no other place in town that would take us. The police pulled us over and extorted a 1000 pesos from us as well. It was a rough couple of expensive days in SMA. |

michellepallozzi | Day use only but some beautiful spots to have a picnic or just park for the day. there are multiple water spigots scattered in this area. The water is fine to drink, but make sure that you let the water run for a minute before filling up your jugs otherwise it's got quite a bit of minerals in it and it's a little bit brown. also, dumpsters located in this area as well. One bathroom with running water. no admission charge into the national park. only if you're going into the cave |
Mammoth Cave National Park Picnic Area | 37.19156, -86.10292 | |
ghug | Beautiful place out in the nature. Cabanas section and Acampar section. There is no Wifi and telcel is on low level and not steady. And the place is 500m south of where it's marked. Price still 140 Pesos 2 people and Van. We enjoy every minute of 3 days here. |

passportquest.com | Off season camping with no hook ups was free :) drinking water available - has a slight chlorine taste. no toilets, shower though. Electric hook up was $10. I’m posting a picture of the sign. We had a nice quiet night here and I would stay here again if I was in the area |
