I followed the road up and across the dam to another spot overlooking the lake...see “Sunset Station” listing. Great views!

I checked place in Santa Barbara, but since I am alone woman on a bicycle, i didn't feel well to pitch my tent th
ere, close to the street, so I asked an fisherman where i can go to feel safe and more comfortable. He showed me this place.

It is very big platoe, between village and the small river. Locals use this place as a picnick area but it is very clean, you will find bags for trash on the trees. Very quiet at night also during the day (but it was Covid time).

A very nice and calm Restaurant at the very End of the Oasis. Located at the start of the Dune Road to the old Fortress.
Very clean, amazingly friendly owner.
Tasty Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Between 10 and 15 Dinar.
Here you get also the best Espresso in town. Due to the solar Panels on the roof it is also the only Place with really cool drinks all day Long.

Small track just off the blacktop forest road, this spot is just off that track. It's rainy so I didn't want to drive too far in but the track goes back a ways. Quiet road, beautiful woods to explore. Some trash from hunters with deer parts laying around.

Located at 911 South Santee RD. Water spigot on outside of building right next to the front door. Very close to Santee coastal reserve campground. Just used my filter and pressure regulator and filled up no problem.

The place no longer provides water and energy, and it's no longer allowed to park on the side of the rail. You can park on the street, but without any facilities

Ended up roughly by this pin and it was a nice spot but there are definitely others. Road was in great condition though as others noted it crosses a few washes. Use caution coming during rain, I don’t know about these washes but any flash flooding would cut off your path out temporarily.

Permit required and available here: https://asld.secure.force.com/recreationalpermit/ permits are available for individuals groups or families and the individual and family ones are good for a year.

This campground is really nice. Most spots are fairly far apart. The BLM reservation site says that some spots are “first come first serve” so we took a risk and showed up on a Saturday night before thanksgiving, with a 22’ trailer. The FCFS spots were for tents only. All RV spots were “reserved” but largely still empty around 5 pm. We talked to the camp hosts who were AWESOME and super friendly and helpful. They were trying to help figure out their cancellations so they could squeeze us in. I. The end, they let us stay in a big parking lot at the end. So we didn’t have a picnic table and were next to the dumpster, but we were super happy. $25. Great trails to hike around. Cool spot

Specially the lodge area is really nice with gras around the swimming pool and nice sunbeds to relax on. Food and drinks available, there is a sundowner spot and tam animals walking around. The campsite is huge and spacious, ablutions are simple but if they heat up the donkey it's a nice and warm shower. There is a tap on each site but no place to do the dishes or laundry. Water is from a borehole so drinkable. No electricity at sites. We were lucky to see the elephants passing by! The managers from the camp can explain you how far you can drive in the Ugab riverbed and the road you can take to save the rhino camp.

Was a quiet night, many flatter spots. The gps point here is blocked by construction crew but there are plenty of other spots around.

Great place to camp. Very comfortable and safe place. Hot water, bbq place and excellent attention. The weather is the best in Huigra.

Beautiful place and excellent attention. The restaurant is amazing. Perfect place to relax. A lot of green areas. I highly recommend to visit the Hostería. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The price is very convenient. Hot shower, internet, pet friendly.

very good spot, stayed 2 nights in our van, there was one other rv as well. many pullouts throughout the old hyway. traffic is constant from 101 but it wasnt an issue. one local person drove by honking at 7am, but they just kept going.

This spot worked perfectly for us. Another van and a camper were here as well. No issues. Quiet night. Easy access to the park the next morning before it got crowded. Highly recommend!

Beach parking at Noordhoek, nice spot for Campers. Walking track to Chapman's peak is starting nearby. Nelson, the park guard, is very helpful with informations. C Cell 4G reception

2Km further La Parva, at 2.990m, you will find the parking lot of the ski resort.
No amenities, but great view.
A few picnic tables to sit down and enjoy the surroundings, or have dinner.
Whenever the Bike Park is open (November to March), more or less, there is a very basic restaurant for the bikers, and restrooms, but only from 9am to 5pm... I assume is similar during ski season.
At night you will be able to see Santiago’s lights in the distance.
You will need to park close to the giant orange dome, where you’ll find 3/4 flat spots.

Fire pit just off the road, park at bridge

Right off rte 65. Good place for a quick night stay. Find a level spot off one of the dirt roads and you’re there. Be sure not to go too far back or you’ll be off the BLM land.

Great remote and quiet place to boondock

The road in is not in good condition but passable with patience.

Nice spot, and great views. We were able to bike from here to the Honanki ruins (which meant we got in for free) without much trouble. There were a few other folks here and everyone was pleasant which made us feel safe (two female travelers). There are jeep and four wheeler tours stopping here pretty much on the hour from 10am to sunset, but otherwise the evening is quiet.

Cracker Barrel parking in back. usually two to three RVs are parked here per night it's a nice area with trees and a lawn in the back where your dog can do its business before getting back in the car a little noisy with the highway behind you but the trees mask it a bit.

Not to far from Chang Mai, may be 50km,calm,nice small river clean, in the mountains

Great spot for a few nights. Second parking area big enough for any size. Hiking around as well. Good AT&T service. If you are in a 4WD you can continue past the parking area and camp anywhere you want. Got a little busier on the weekend, but the nights were very quiet.

It is not illegal to sleep in your car in Columbus, only in the suburb of Westerville which is technically Columbus but has its own ordinances

Dormimos en el parque sin problemas, hay gente hasta tarde haciendo ejercicio, y muy temprano a la mañana, nos estacionamos cerca de un micro escolar, de unos chicos que están viviendo acá. En el parque hay una canilla donde sacar agua. Y si sos artesano, los fines de semana podes vender tus objetos. Se hace una feria enorme.

As described below: The conference centre is still not open, the infinity pool is great, though! MTC signal is very weak and we paid 750 for 4 people. The campsites are perfectly equipped, that's true, but you will have a hard time on most of the finding a really horizontal spot for your roof top tent.
