Cabins were 380pppn, but I needed 5 nights so they offered 200pppn which is a fair price as they are basic and the wood all warped.
Would not stay again as they played loud music until 10pm every night, and it was only Sun-Thurs, hate to stay here on Fri or Sat.
Friendly people.

Spent a night here after leaving Big Bend, arrived after dark and had to ask the sherif at the gas station where it was, very hard to see entrance but it is directly across from the gas station.

Just a picnic place with some parking. Hardly Nirvana, but to be honest, I haven't been to Nirvana.

tracks for Africa shows here a shaded picknick spot under a tree where you can park and walk the few metres to the little creak providing water for the village. several metres downstream it flows in a small basin which was about 60cm deep in November. enough to bathe and cool off nicely! completely free of algae and of charge.

Passamos um tranquila nesse local, possui chuveiro próximo. Tem uma banca de pescados que usamos a torneira. Parece ter eletricidade, não testamos. Sprinter 311.

Nice and spacious primitive campground by the lake. Sites have picnic tables and fire rings. No water or electricity.

Campground has a dry restroom, a big fishing pier and a boat ramp (with a beautiful view of the sunrise and sunset), both with public access.

We stayed a couple nights during the week in November and the campground was very quiet. T-mobile service was good (two bars).

Cost is $9 per night (plus a reservation fee at at reserveamerica.com).

We stayed here at the parking area as the other spot on ioverlander near the radio tower required us to drive up Black Ridge road which didn't seem very doable in our transit van (no 4x4). If we went past the Black ridge road GPS was trying to take us on private roads. We walked up a little bit and the road was muddy as well. The parking area is not level at all but we parked right next to the fence as ot wasn't too bad for just the night. No signs stating "no overnight parking". This place won't work for a larger RV and probably not very comfortable for tents.

In November pool was full of algae, goats graze around the pool and price was raised to 60NAD. Manager on site couldn't give a discount and according to him the owner of the site and the campsite (!) is in Windhoek, so cannot be reached. we had a look at the admittedly beautiful oasis from the parking lot but didn't stay and cooled off further downstream.

A beautiful hike along the rocky shore of the ocean, whales waving from afar and lots of quiet spots to have a private beach for the day.

Outside the entrance there is a small parking right on the street looking at the valley. We arrived pretty late and we decided to stay here waiting for our laundry to be ready the next day. Few cars during night, we felt really safe.

I think it may be good place in season but we (a Brit couple on one bike) turned up and there was just one other guy there.
Christian, the owner, talked relentlessly about his trip even though we wanted to talk about OUR upcoming trip. He also charges for EVERYTHING and has a lot of fussy rules. No coffee or alcohol in the room. No food in the room. No outside food or drink. Don’t feed the dog. Don’t pet the dog, ffs!
I can imagine a wild weekend there if there were loads of bikes there but there was no atmosphere when we went. And a drunken night there would cost a fortune.
The other guy was European and shocked by the prices. He and we were travelling for months and never went back. We went back to Pucon and stayed lakeside. Great vistas, great bars and restaurants, lots of other travellers and bikers. Much better and much cheaper than Motocamp.

Nice little ‘oasis’ between both sides of the freeway. There are a few spots here so you can spread out from other people. Last night there was an RV across from us - also the restrooms nearby were clean. There is some road noise. And also picnic tables.

$24 a night for open first come first serve spots. Also has full RV hook up spots. You can reserve spots ahead of time. Each spot has paved pull in and gravel spots to camp along with fire pit and picnic table. Bathrooms with showers and dumping stations available. Beautiful little walk/bike path along river. Just a few minute drive up the road to town. Dog friendly.

Everyone knows this road is closed which makes it a very nice spot. Nobody comes here.
Perfect place for a big rig. Ample flat paved surface. Beautiful view for the sunset and star gazing. Large cement "patio" for your furniture and gas firepit. There are no signs prohibiting parking or camping. Nevada BLM land adjacent.
Your own private desert home.
I want to give it five stars but that part of the app isn't working on my phone.

Lake isn’t the best, looks to gross to jump in. No bathrooms but houses nearby so you can’t just dig a hole. Some kind of animal was running into my van most of the night.

State Park campground right on the Mississippi River in Trail of Tears State Park. Open year round. Water, electricity, and dump station. Even has a boat dock for putting out into the Mississippi, in case you want to see barges up close. Quiet, except for when the trains pass through. Then the whole ground rumbles and shakes, more or less, depending on the size of the train engines. It's a sight to see!
You must register to camp here. Honor system in the Off-season, though when I called the park office and left a message, they actually called me back.🙂

We stayed in this huge, abandoned parking lot in our big skoolie for almost a week & changed brake pads, rotors, & did some carpentry etc. A few semi trucks come & go throughout the night but otherwise quiet. The city park is also very nice with a 1 mile walking path, bbq pits, water hydrants where we filled our tanks. Park is just a few miles down the road.

There is tons of camping here. There is a marina. There are bathrooms and showers, but only in the summer. It’s five dollars self-pay. To be honest, I have never paid because I always come late at night. You can park right next to the lake. There are picnic benches and fire rings with grills. Full Verizon service. It’s a great spot 8 miles off I70.

This might be a seasonal opportunity. It’s a public parking lot associated with the city. No signage prohibits overnight stays. In fall the city seems less busy and despite a sign for 2hr parking only between 6am and 6pm, i stayed al day with no hassle. It’s right on the Illinois river walk with a park adjacent. Steps to the main drag in west Peoria. Well lit and safe.
