Nice spot with terrific views of Lake Mead. The road takes a bit of patience, but we easily made it in our 4x4 sprinter in only 2wd in dry conditions. You can camp right on the shore of Lake Mead but the bugs were thick, so we chose up on the ridge. There were just a couple other people camping in Jeeps but there were quite a few people fishing. I wouldn’t take a pull behind camper down here, but it’s great for my class b or truck/car/tent camping.

Just off the road next to the river with a good flat spot for camping and cooking. 🇦🇱

crazy busy! tons of other campers everywhere. I had a hard time finding an empty spot for myself. No issues, nice, scenic and quiet.

Very nice and quiet spot. Not full at all in april 2024. Path with gravels but not a problem going slowly even with a 2wd

Stayed in the first of the three parallel parking spot in front of the museum. Great Wi-Fi reception. Night was calm no issues.

Overnight camping is NOT allowed. I’d just gone to bed when the sheriffs arrived. They were very nice, but I had to move. They suggested the weigh station that was a few hundred feet away which worked out.

There are SEVERAL spots along this road from BLM campground to boondocking. Several natural Hotsprings as well. Great place

A park located on the outskirts of Allentown, NJ behind the high school.

No overnight parking (closed dusk to dawn) as cops roll through and stop by, but it’s publicly accessible throughout the day.

There are bathroom facilities that are open during the daytime. Not sure about accessing them at night as they may (or may not) auto lock. I live nearby and it seems like they aren’t fully maintained (often no toilet paper or soap), so you may need to supply your own. Water fountains on the side of the building do not work.

Definitely a good, quiet place to walk or rest for a few hours.

Found the spor. Didn’t look level and unsure who owns the land in the area. It was just a tree at the intersection of 2 dirt roads. Did not feel comfortable staying here so I left.

Friendly staff and safe to stay but the lot is loud and bright. Not prefered to stay here but your options are limited in the area. Showers are now $20 but they are clean and towels are provided

Here is a huge desert place where you can stop everywhere. After in direction of Ica there are no more wild place for a quiet night. All the desert is now private properties with fence (what's a pity...). This place is really quiet. No Claro signal.

We didn't experience any problem driving from the veterinary post to the Khoabib canyon (about 90km) in a Land Cruiser. With cold tyre pressure at 15psi driving in low ratio third and forth for most of the time. All river crossings and rocky sections easy to pass as long as you drive slowly.

There are two campgrounds on the lake. Both are the same but each has it's own entrance because there is a creek in the middle and no bridge. Only vault toilets. First bathroom was stinky but we moved to the second house and it was ok. No tp. No fee but donations. Nice place. Trains are going all night but it's doable even in the tent.

The place is now private, like all the desert around Ica. See the point "The last wild place before Ica".

I really don't understand what people see in this place. As you drive through town to get there, it feels like an abandoned Gulag with all the high razor fences around the houses with no people and closed businesses (including the Pemex). As you get to the campground, you see the big gate and sign that says they lock you in at night. Why? Zombies? I've never felt as unsafe in Mexico as the vibe in that place. We decided to check out the campground since we came all that way, but the sites are super close together, the water tanks are swarmed with bees, and the manager was extremely rude. You couldn't have paid me to stay there, we got the hell out of there as fast as we could!

We stayed a night, was fine. Great thing is it’s first come first serve, so none of the usual reservation BS at other state campgrounds. No power, hookups, etc. But there are bathrooms and a large tank of drinking water nearby (no hose)

As a female soloist here in mud season, I did two overnights. It is a rather remote location. With no other campers there, I just got a little creeped out, so I went somewhere else for my 3rd night.

Simply amazing! Hot showers in a heated, clean bathroom for free.

Very nice camping for free. Great wind protection, heated bathroom with clean toilets and hot showers. This village is just amazing.

Very cool campground. We stayed on the field so had a lot of sun. Showers are $1 for 5 mins. Friendly staff. Wifi available and a wee book swap area. Big open playing field and playground so great for families

no CPD or visa in advance.
relaxed and friendly border. very little traffic through here. leaving ivory coast straight forward. process took a little while to get the emergency visa for Ghana but paid 150 US dollars each and TIP was 2500 CFA.

We spent a few days in the Nazca Lodge and we found Enrique and his staff to be very friendly. You can't really imagine the work it must have taken to create such an oasis. And the planting continues. We believe that Enrique will make anything possible if you ask him. But above all, we liked his introduction to the Nazca Lines, which he does with passion. If you don't like the price, you can stay overnight at the nearest gas station. You can always get sick when you travel.

Stayed here for watching the train. Comes from the desert 3-4pm. The childs from the village are very rude and want flusch (money) or stuff ! Don’t give them anything!
They hit our truck with stones inside of the village.

Be careful the sand is soft. Reduce Tire Pressure

We stay here for a night. At that time lot of snow on the spot so we just stayed at the very beginning of the spot. Quiet.

On a passé 4 nuits stationnées sur la rue. Il y un interdiction de stationnement de 2 heures à 4 heures du matin mais ce n’est pas mis en force. Il devait y avoir 20-30 rigs sur la rue et dans les alentours.

Seulement le mardi matin de 6 heures à midi on doit changé de côté pour l’entretien

Très belle place avec toilette et douche. Il y a même une dump station et l’eau

Piste cyclable qui mène à mission beach et pacific beach.

SVP garder l’endroit propre afin de pouvoir garder ce spot!!!

As far as turnouts go, this one was really awesome actually! Plenty of space and good distance from the road. Good cell service with T-Mobile. Footpaths going up the hill for awesome views, and it seemed like access to either an old road or a trail. We only stayed one night, but I'd be down to spend multiple here. Some traffic noise at night, but not enough to keep me up.
