Exiting Namibia/entering Botswana
Easy border.
On the Botswana side there is no Customs nor Immigration officers. You get stamped from a Policeman and he cannot give you more than 15 days.
So if you want more than 15 days, you need to extend your visa at any Immigration Office in Botswana. We did it in Maun.

lovely place, enough space for 3 vehicles. farmer dropped by to see where the smoke was coming from. he was totally ok with it but please dont burn plastic or leave rubbish!! found several pieces of rubbish there.

Field. Clean but not many ablutions, nice walk (5miles) down to Llangollen.
2 miles up the road is the Llandegla MTB trail centre, good fun day out.

great park with great views. At first I thought it was a bit of a drive off of the highway but totally worth it. great campsites with nice bathrooms.

We stay for a few days here in this B&B. It’s great, quiet and the host Marcela and Samuel are so great, you feel like at home. A big table with a lot of traveler make it very interesting. Nice rooms with a heating and great view. Everything ist very clean. Good breakfast and a very well equipped kitchen where you can cook your meal. For us the best place to a good price.

Yes you can park outside the restaurant for free but the road is dusty and the locals drive at full speed.
The restaurant is expensive and the food definitely does not reflect the price. Service from the staff was non existent.
Not worth the drive from San Juan Del Sur.

The place has been great both time we stayed there, cabins cozy, restrooms clean. Great KOA! I know not current, but It's all I have.

Nice and quiet place. Follow the dirt road to the river. When we where there, the river brought a lot of water and was dirty (snow melting) and we had to cross a little ford (5m - 25cm deep).

Grassy place next to the street. Quiet noisy during the day. 270 Pesos/night and 1500 Pesos/Month to store your vehicle.

Fantastic place if you wanna explore the strip. A bit noisy at night. Located directly behind the Highroller and you’ve a USD 5.- discount with your parking ticket.

Friendly owner, 40S double room, includes breakfast of fresh juice, tea, coffee, bread, jam, avocado. Basic hostel, clean, more of a hotel feel.

No existing anymote

No Internet, no Credit Cards...no good-under construcción. Bad experience.

Perfect for 1 night and a dip in the very warm pool. Shop, petrol, bar and restaurant. Sites are plentiful and nice shade.

Love this place!
You can park on an even spot with a beautiful view. It is clean (let’s keep it that way) and you can hear the ocean, birds and a lot of crickets.

There is a road that goes even further. We tried it because we though that it would end up at the beach, but it has a dead end (and a really steep hill).

The road to get here is doable without 4x4 or high clearance, although it’s not doable for big rigs.

Just like the first comment we are not sure if it is private property, but we don’t think so.

Amazing place! Maybe the best we have stayed in our 6 months trip.
New bathrooms and showers. Everything very clean.
They also have a very fast wifi and electricity. You have a big sink to wash everything you want and laundry.
And of course, its located in a very quiet and beautiful spot, full of green grass.

No camping allowed at this place, we don't found a place anywhere

Main Unitel office where I got a data sim card with 5 GB for 30 days. Cost 50.000 kip, about 5 euro. There was staff that spoke english and made the card work on my phone.

The Tan Hill Inn has a grassy site with a view and welcomes campers for £5 per adult per night. Kids free. Basic toilet facilities available, and pub serves meals and good beer. Can get vehicles on to grass, but can also camp in truck/van in the parking lot. You are away from it all out here, great views, top of the world, can get windy as is high up in the moors...

Cost is 100 Egyptian pounds. Ferries run every 1-2 hours and it takes about an hour to get to Abu Simbel. You are allowed to depart the border area with your Egyptian license plate on your dash and install it here while you wait for. the ferry.

Very kind and lovely hostel, you can feel like at your own home. Ramille, the owner, is very friendly and helpfull. There is place for 2 (or 3 little cars) in the courtyard no higher 3meters (there is a roof porche) and for 1 car in front of the hostel. You can sleep in your van and pay 1000T for use kitchen, living space, wc, shower... use wash machine for 500T. There is a porche, a big garden where you can sleep in your tent. The house has very friendly ambiance. Dogs can stay in external spaces. There are one restaurant close and a mini market nearly.

We came from Indien Border and this was our first Checkpoint where we where stopped! Passed the others quick though... and our Escourt started here.

Parking lot next to the Highway, but not accessible from the highway. Noises from the highway at night. Stayed one night, no problem. Check out the picture of the map how to get here . If you navigate with google maps, it will tell you to stop on the highway.

Yes, this is indeed a good place for one night. It's quiet, safe and you have good WiFi and clean toilets!
