Other side of the river, access is further away, from the road on the other side. Not sur if you can cross the river anywhere. We can see the other IOverlander spot from heat. There is no one on this side and no trash, since we parked here there has been at least 10 cars go through the other side.

Na frente da entrada do parque tem um campo grande que dá para estacionar e dormir, nos tivemos uma noite bem tarqbuila por aqui. O parque é grátis e não aceita animais. Lugar bonito e tranquilo, com caminhadas ao redor da lagoa.

road is closed, we may have gone to see why!! shifting sand dunes across the track after a few km. possibly passable with 4WD but we decided not in the dark when we're not supposed to be here in the first place!

This is a “dream place.” Bathroom/shower complex could be in any fine hotel. Once word gets out, it may be hard to get a spot here, it will be so full!

Quiet environment. Grass fields surrounded by woods operated by the Dutch State Forestry Authority. Nice playing oportunities for children. Places have to be paid through a vending machine (card payments only), no permanent staff. Well maintained, new ablutions. Common campfire in the evening.

This campground belongs to the Dutch Nature Campgrounds Chain (Natuurkampeerterreinen - www.natuurkampeerterreinen.nl). Campgrounds of this chain have basic, but well maintained ablutions and are usually situated in a nature area. It is required to buy a EUR 15 membership card that is valid for a year and can be used for all 133 campgrounds in the Netherlands.
fee= € 20.30 (2 adults, camper)

A piece of flat land with grass by the lake. Ample space and you can walk by the lake. A bit busy on weekends but weekdays are much calmer. One of the best spots we found in the area.

Valley of the barking dogs ...
The restaurant has been discontinued. Now a lot of half nomades have settled here in shacks. The campground is a simple meadow with sheep, donkeys, dogs and cats - thus there is a lot of excrements on the meadow. While the dogs are not aggressive, they are barking during the night. When we where there, there were also lots of youth groups that were drumming until 3am and starting again at 6am. In total, we cannot recommend this place - also the lake is not worth seeing.

We dared to and we did it! If you want to go without a guide like we did you have to inform the local Police. It is regular offroad with steep climbs, sharp rocks, water crossing etc so be well prepared. At this time of the year the water level hasn't been a problem but climbing up or descending river banks appeared to be challenging a couple of times. Moreover take the altitude sickness possibility under your consideration. Views are stunning.
Up 3-4hrs, down 2,5-3hrs. We are definitely not off-road master and it was one of the most challenging drives we have ever had
If you are experienced, self confident, brave or stupid enough DO IT.

We had not to pay fees when we used this parking lot. It is in walking distance to the city center. There are some fast food restaurants and the Luna Park around. The owner of the Luna Park is friendly and likes old trucks.

it is a laundry and you can wash for 20000 rial or 30000 rial by clothes or wash and iron for 50000 rial per clothes. Amir is very nice but does not speak english and did not charge us for underwear. there is no dryer so wait until it dries the day or recover the next day. Closed until 14h to 17h but open very later (midnight and more...)

Stayed here for two nights arriving on Sunday afternoon, very beautiful landscapes nestled between the mountains. Make sure you arrive at the front gate before 5:30 as the gate is closed. Rangers were very helpful. 5000 entrance fee per person and 2500 per night per person camping. Only a couple other campers the two nights we were there. Cold showers, flushing toilets, wash basins, picnic tables to camp next to. Running stream with swimming pools next to the camp site. Lots of nice hikes to do as well.

We stayed two nights on the regular parkinglot. We felt save and we liked the big trees and their shadow under which we parked. We payed just 50 Pesos for entry (2 Persons) and nothing for camping. 5 Pesos for the toilets. A lot of sales people came during the day, which was sometimes a bit disturbing. The waterfalls are great, the water is so refreshing after a driving day ;-)
