We stayed there for 7 days, like in friend's house.
Not so hylghy recommanded, but "incontournable".

We stayed here for two nights. Unfortunately, we did not meet Walter because he was on a trip, but allowed us to stay any-case.
Banos and showers for campers are under construction, quincho is ready.
We got very valuable tips from Walter.

PAW is an animal hospital that can help with administering shots, spaying/neutering and other medical services primarily for dogs and cats. They do their best to diagnose significant issues but are not full-service animal hospital.

The facility is up to very high cleanliness standards and operates on a donation basis. Typically travelers and ex-pats pay more for services to help subsidize the costs for locals.

All costs/donations are substantially lower than anything in the US!!

You can update your pets vaccines or even offer to volunteer at the clinic if you are in Mulege for any length of time!

PAW depends on donations and always welcomed any support!

Lovely spot besides the lighthouse. We asked as well the lighthouse keeper if it was okay to stay parked for the night which was okay(he didn't seem to care (there is small signs of "no camping" on the town "bienvienidos" sign). Public toilets up at the town park 3 blocks up the hill (closed sundays) We stayed 4 nights in total (only for the nights as we drove away doing the day )

It's really clean a little old but good showers, warm and big room with toilett and shower! Great

Desert camping along Aiken Mine Road in Mojave National Preserve near a corral. Nice open view across the Mojave Desert and two craters. Quiet, no amenities. Aiken Mine Road is fine for 2 WD but very washboardy.

Fast food completos, best french fries, pichanga (sauteed meats and peppers over fries), more. Good prices. Small space of refuge from rain to eat. Was able to eat here safely with egg and dairy allergies. Owners are very nice. This spot is open until 9 pm or so

Great service. Quickly did a synthetic oil change and didn’t charge us an arm and a leg.

Got pulled over for not respecting the yellow lines back in town? Not sure how they would see that, or why they thought is was true, as we drive very slowly. Had a long back and forth using the officer’s translator, we continued to act confused (because we were!) and ultimately he let us go with no problems. Was calm and respectful despite trying to rip us off.

It’s a Friday, didn’t see anything here! Did get stopped at the spot closer to Campeche though.

There is a sign which says „private property“ and a closed gate a few hundred metres before the spot - so don’t go there, we had to drive all the way back.

we were told by the guerd that we couldn't stay but if we gave him a bit of money (10 reais ) he would talk to the other guard and we could stay. .so we did ...seems safe enough. .this is actually paraguai territory seems like..

This was seriously the best restaurant after 1 month in Chile! The ceviche is the bomb! Also the main courses are really delicious!!!

First Hotel after Kinshasa I could find. Nothing special, bucket shower, but good enough for one night. Paid 20$ (33.000 CDF) for the cheapest room. You can buy beer for 2500 CDF and ask the nice receptionist to buy bred for you in the town.

Perfect place! Everything is working! Shower, electricity, AC, very friendly owner... good restaurant in the neighbourhood. Paid 10.500 kw for a single room.

Be aware of the buggy tours!

They sold us the buggy hire as an adventure drive through dunes, etc. and the actual tour is anything but that. It is a sight seeing tour where everyone has to drive on a line, slowly and mostly through actual roads.

Really NOT worth it.

The people that sell the tours in town are also not the ones that operate the buggies, so your complaints are just ignored, and the guys who run the tours were super rude and arsey when we complained.

Also you must pay additionally, to what they charge you, the entry fee to the national park which of course they don't mention until you are actually already on the buggy.

Most buggies are in terrible condition, having to be jump started, sticky pedals, running out of fuel, not properly working.

It's a bit of a scam in my opinion.

Nice peaceful spot downtown. Metered parking on Arts Center Way NE. The parking signs state 4 hours max, 7am-10pm, Monday through Saturday. I arrived at night and had no problems finding a spot. The bottom of the hill is rather steep, but there are a few relatively level spots up the hill.

By far the best pullout directly along the Lost Coast. It comes with a nice grassy knoll, a private path to the beach (no fence to climb over like the other pullouts), and a view of devils gate. What more could you ask for?

Overnight place only with the permission of the ranger. You can only spend the night with your own toilet.
You can choose your own place in the park. Completely alone and without disturbing light.
Very bad road to the park, about 30 km, and in the park.

Walmart parking lot in Watertown. The store is open 24 hours and there are lots of other amenities around as well.

Open 7 days per week - we filled up on Thanksgiving!

Great free spot! We stayed for a few days. AT&T service was good. The access road is sand and has some holes so consider your ground clearance (we were fine with about 8”). It was about 1/4 full with hunters. We heard some gun shots during the day but felt safe where we were, but wouldn’t go for a hike during hunting season. We’d stay again.
