This is a picknick area in the woods, next to the water, close to the city (half an hour easy walk to city center). Easy access from the highway. There are three roads into this place. We took the third, there is an toilet building (dirty now this time of year). The place can be really crowded in summer. Now just a few cars, friendly people. Families coming to picknick or men fishing. The benches are not here now, only in summer. Just park your car on the hill next to a concrete plateaus.

This place is amazing! They have a shower and laundry facility and tons of vanlifers parked in the parking lot for the night. Showers are $12 but totally worth it! They are roomy enough for two people (if you’re sneaky) the floors are heated. Washcloth, towel, shampoo/body wash provided. The shower room has a toilet and a sink and it was sooo clean. I’m super impressed with this place.

Michi no eki parking next to the beach with a spectacular view of the Kaimon-danke volcano, we also saw some dolphins swim by the beach! Very nice sunset!

Got insurance for moto, 3 months was the shortest. 5k kwanza. Friendly service.

After 6 years of operation and this place still looks brand new. Extremely clean and very well maintained. Somehow the owner still mentions about the older pensioners staying close to reception but now recommends for the younger crowd to go at the very edge overlooking the beach. This was a better option for us than the smaller cluster option of Le Nomade in the village of Mirleft

Basic hotel with decent restaurant and cheap food. We paid 40,000 COP for a double with private bathroom and AC after a little haggling. Vehicle could be parked right outside our room. 24 hour security and a gas station beside it so always people around. There are no campsites in this area between Cartagena and Medellin so for $12 we thought this was a good deal. Staff were friendly and wifi was ok ( strong in the restaurant ).

29Nov2019: the 'tourist area' is now fenced off and has a gate with a sign that cars/motorbikes are not allowed inside. However, as we noticed, it seems that bikes and tents are tolerated.
Entrance fee now 20'000 (official ticket)
Guard wanted to charge us 10'000 for the parking, but waved it as we were parked some 150 meters away (big and flat parking space, but not much shade)
Pool is great; toilets were very clean, easy accessible also for big rigs
Overall: definitly worth visiting

After Ajanta caves we have turned left and stopped under a tree in the side of small road near the river

so quiet and clean! best place for making, tea and food. Its also a good place to camp

International freight forwarder specialising in shipping vehicles. Goutam responses very quickly to all enquiries and queries. The office is based in Birla Brothers Building. Friendly staff who know what they are doing. I am shipping my motorbike with them.

Price has now changed to 200 (2.5 USD) per person, it wasn't possible to haggle any lower than that. Still definitely worth it at that price.

Nice area to stay, fairly quiet. lots of other campers that seem to be staying for extended time. Some mosquitoes but not too bad.

An extended pic-nic site along the public beatch with some shelters and tables and open beach. The locales come here, so it is not so calm but the locals say that it is safe here. Nice view. 4G reception.
Locals told us, that the iOverlander site north of the port is private land.

We tride to stay here for the nigt, but locals came and said, that it is private property. They brought us to the public beach south of the port. But you can camp here left or right of the fence, but not in the fenced area.

R150 per adult. Or R100 for pensioners and children.
They have 32 wolves there. All have been rescued. A guide walks round with you telling information, and lets you know which ones you can pat.
A good experience however we thought it was a little too expensive.

This has been a really great spot to visit the best attractions in Nashville. thank you for the tip. watch out for the events going on in Nissan stadium. otherwise you are fine to park here :)

along the shore direction city you will find more parking and overnight possibilities. also at the shore un the city.

Ferry going whole day from 08:00 to 17:00 o'clock.
Price per car: 35.000 KIP (incl. driver), every further passenger is 5.000 KIP.Takes 10-15 minutes and is worth the views!

It is a parking place with security but not quiet at night. For 14 hours you have to pay MX$ 160.

Huge parking totally empty. Night very calm to a few aircraft at the beginning of the evening. Guards of the very cultural cultural center, very good welcome. No convenience. Safe and Free.

Friendly staff. We stay here in our camper beside the old aircraft in the large yard for 35000 TSh, breakfast inclusive. Good restaurant. We arrived too late to swim in the pool.

The original Segou village and the one where Biton Mamary Coulibaly’s tomb is located. Also two small mud mosques and recreation of the royal palace. Tourist tax of CFA5000 payable to chief. Guides will find you on arrival. Picturesque on the river’s edge.

It is affordable, close to shops walking distance. Wifi is good and the price also includes breakfast. Paid about 20-25us for a double room.

Drinking water low pression at the Eppco Gasstation.

Hotel with parking lot! No high limit at the parking! Hot shower and TV at the room. No internet, no breakfast. We spend the night here before going up to the Glacial. Paid 40 soles for 2 people in a matrimonial.

They ask 300nad now and they patched a small hole in our tire. ‘100% fix’ they said. The next day the tire was leaking from the same hole again. Good tools doesn’t make a professional i guess ;).

They also have a couple spare tires in case you’re in need.
