Great spot right on the water. Nearby little park with covered tables and pots potties that closes at night. We move to along road to boat ramp after a spectacular sunset.

stayed here last night.. perfect spot and could hear the ocean all night. woke up to hundreds of ducks splashing g around I the lagoon below. good tmobile service. I arrived late at night, and the storm two nights prior was hurricane force so the old road had debri all over it but nothing you cant drive over

stayed here as a kid 30 years ago and now here tonight. walked up to the dunes for sunset.. had a super hot shower and it's super nice.. can hear dune buggies now and then.

Good place for thé price

The dirt road entrance off the highway is 1 mile south of the entrance to the Quemada Ruins. It is a very rough road in. I was there in late November and there were still huge puddles and mud from the rainy season. My all-wheel drive Subaru Outback made it in and out fine. At the end of the track at the reservoir is a large area with cement tables and BBQ structures. It is ranching country so cowboys and cowgirls ride by frequently. There is quite a bit of trash around. I picked up almost a full black garbage bag around my site and could have continued but it started getting dark. You can see the Quemada Ruins from the camping spot. It wasn’t one of my favourite spots to stop but it was quiet and isolated, which I like.

There is no more such thing as all-you-can-eat breakfast here. They have sandwiches and jugos. For lunch there is a buffet, but it's not all-you-can-eat.

Very nice spor, clean porta potti. Didn’t get bothered at all. Be carefull if you have a dog, lots of ticks on the trail, our dog was covered in them

Stayed here for one night. Beautiful place, very quiet. There are a lot barbecue places, you can stay direct next to the water. The police came around 11pm in the night and nockt on the door. They recommended that we should go to a hotel, here it is not so safe. We decided to stay, the police gave us them number in case, we need it. Had a safe night, in the morning the neighbor invited us, to use the toilet in his house.

Great hostel and campsite right on the beach. Showers, kitchen, bar, rooms and more. Thomas is the coolest manager and catered to our every need. This was a great break from camping beach side for the last two weeks before and after the Baja 1000.

Very nice place, directly at the Beach, friendly staff, very clean bathrooms and hot showers, very good wifi but only in the area of the Administration, very Natural Camping ground, shadow, Restaurant open in high season, supermarket nearby (9 cuadras) and a huge beautiful Beach

Excellent value hotel (£30 on booking.com) with great buffet breakfast and adjacent undercover parking included. Nice buzzy area of cafes etc (el fogon parilla good) and easy walking distance to centre. Even get the BBC on TV! Recommended.

Beautiful treck to laguna Rosales. About 1 hour to go and return. Fun with water and Nice walk.

Quiet Camping close to the start of Humantay Lake. The price is S 10 /pp. You have toilet. I don't know for shower, I didn't ask haha You can eat for 10 S and you have a little store too.

This place seems to be the big social hub of the town. other than that, showers were hot and flowing. The original Dagget was an English officer on a German ship in the 1880s. He jumped ship and his Mexican friends hid him. He became a prominent citizen and leader in Baja California.

Do check out the Museum in town. It has extensive Cochimi Indian artifacts.

You can heare the highway but only a little bit. peaceful place, only some friendly shepherds come by.

There seems to be contradictional information about this place in the description. So we went to find out the truth :-)
There are some small trees and bushes hiding you from being seen from the road. You will be „invisible“ when they have leaves. And they will have leaves when you go there as we don’t think you go there in winter, like us.
Yes, it’s not far from the road so yes, if you really pay attention you will be able to hear some cars. But it’s not noisy at all.
We liked the place. It’s very convenient when driving out of Irkutsk too late to reach Orcho and when it’s getting dark before reaching Irkutsk.
