The price today was 550pesos, no breakfast included. No kitchen available to cook anything so either you go out to eat or you bring something cold with you. Anyways, it seems to me a fair price. A lady at the recaption was really kind. See tried to speak in English to me which is rare here around. I was allowed to bring my bike (I am bikepacker) with me in the room so I need not to disassemble and assemble everything back in the morning.

Very quiet, at 5 minutes walking of the village of Amedzofe. Beautiful view. To find, take the direction of the Abraerica hotel and continue to the radio antenn.

great mechanics. We had an unforeseen event with our defender Land Rover in the middle of the road and Octavio promptly helped us. We stayed 2 nights in his mechanic, where he received us and we were able to sleep in the car, with shower, bathroom and security. He works with all car brands, and does impeccable work. super recommended! Octavio: +506 8335-9833 (whatsapp)

Was recommended to us by a Mauretanien local, we thought our motorcycle had a burnt clutch. Didn’t look very trustworthy on the first look but we had to leave the motorcycle there because they said not possible to repair it in one day and it didn’t move anymore. So we handed them the keys with not having much more than a phone number and went to our hotel. 2 hours later the guy called and had fixed it and drove the motorcycle to our hotel safely. When they said the price before we left they talked in old currency, but not to rip us off, they had a good laugh when we said we thought they mean the new one.

It is not allowed or even recommended to sleep in the park as the friendly park ranger told me today. You will not be ticketed if you do, but it is not a safe but actually a bad neighborhood. He highly suggested that we not stay he overnight.

The place is on sale and blocked with barbed wire. Seems permanently closed. We parked for a walk on the opposite side. And we did see the volcano!

To be clear I was the park ranger you made contact with today. You can be ticketed. We prefer to just educate. :)

we drove down the road a couple km to a locked gate. we could only understand that something was "out of service" from him... not sure if it was the camp or the road. either way we couldn't get there.

Small space next to the road for up to 3 vehicles. Only spot we found up here which they don't close. Great view and even nicer view of whole Osaka 400m to the right at the transmission towers. You can walk to the official observatory in about 10mins where they have toilets, restaurants etc.

Jorge is a very friendly and honest guy who's goal it is to conserve the nature around. The rivers are Cristal clear and it's super tranquilo here.. He took us on a day trip around the neighboring villages and showed us what nature has to offer here.. It's a beautiful place and everything is donation based.

Worth visit. Interesting Gaucho’s history. It is an exhibition of ones-living-arts that no longer exist. Beautiful old houses, gardens and really well curated museum. The set up is excelent. Recomended. Free entrance.

It is a nice place to stay in Cartagena. There is a big outdoor area with seats and tables, as well some hammocks. I was able to place my bicycle inside the open area easily. they also have parking available for normal sized vehicles, maybe even a sprinter. Shops and most services you may need are in walking distance. A beach is also pretty close.

I paid 20.000 in a dorm room.

Stopped here and checked both the front and back parking lots. They both had "No Overnight Parking" signs posted everywhere. We didn't stay

We pulled in just before sunset. There are only 2 other rigs the Friday after Thanksgiving. Very quiet and safe.
the water works. We filled our 20 gallon tank. The electric is turned off.
No dump station. It says 3 night max. We are only staying 1 night.
**** 4 stars out of 5.

Nice beach, sand, stone, shade, sun, bathing, no trash. There is a second way some 50m north, which is steeper and for 4x4 only. It leads to same beach. Celular signal ok.

This place is an oasis in the outskirts of Ica city, about twenty minutes away of Huacachina the real oasis and tourist attraction. The facilities are brand new, just opened in July 2019. It’s just an amazing place to relax and enjoy yourself while others are looking for a great stay right in front of the oasis’s waterfront. There are at this time three luxury cottages coming with comfy king sized bed, a spacious bathroom with a modern spa shower, big Tv, fast wifi and well designed interior. The cottages are scattered around the heart of the facility a generous, great pool. The area is set in a grassy setting, with lushes and trees. Enough shady places and cozy seats are a welcoming retreat from the sun. The whole place is well maintained and up to date. Breakfast is additional (12$sol) but rich, coffee/tea, bread rolls, fresh fruits, juices, scrambled eggs. 5 min with taxi to city centre. Restaurants nearby. Rooms: 99$sol/n matrimonial. They offering pickup (4$sol) Warmly welcoming family.

Gérant amical. Un endroit vraiment agréable pour prendre un peu de repos ou visiter les alentours. Pour être parfait il manque juste une laveuse mais bon la laverie n est pas loin. Vraiment le meilleur camping qu on es fait jusqu'à présent.

We took a very scenic and adventurous boat trip with Dan at the helm. Having Dan onboard was half the fun!! We meandered past groups of boisterous hippos and the occasional crocodile. Plenty of birdlife and Dan identified everyone of them for us. Before turning back we swam in the river with cool beers. This trip was 5 star for us. We paid Dan NAD500pp. Well worth it!!!!

Advice for big rigs trying to drive this road: the road gets narrower to the north to the point where the track is about 2.5m wide. We have a 17 ton 6x6 and barely made it. The bridge over the Cuanza River is strong enough though.

Carlos and his family are incredibly friendly people welcoming travellers to their home. They feed you like a king and involve you in their activities (going to beach, Anjos Bantu MC activites etc.) Planned to stay 2-3days, ended up staying for a week.

As described. Entrance fee for vehicles is IDR 10.000 (in addition to the fee for persons). The access road is in excellent condition. The alternative access road (starting at 8.76038° S, 121.85719° E) is extremely narrow, steep and curved.

Beautiful spot, just follow the tracks to the beach from the main road. Plenty of drift wood available to make a fire. Be careful with 2wd I’m loose sand, but the locals also do it with 2wd.
