Or you could take the paved road to the beach 1.7km south from here. No overhanging cables and closer to your likely beach camp spot. Small supermarket just south of the turn-off.

this place is ok. Parilla, a toilet, water tap however I don't know if drinking. also electricity at the entrance, on a light pole. for us it wasn't a super night. very hot and a family of locals parked near us, talk until 1 am. but you can found a quiet place in this area.

Parked near the auto center and was able to connect to the Walmart WiFi. Wasn’t bothered and didn’t see any signs.

Shela is really an extraordinary place. Cool people, nice hotels, romantic village, cute donkeys and delicious restaurants. We were there for 5 days and we fell in love with it. Coming back. We parked our truck in Mokowe for 500 Ksh per day.

Beautiful beach. Fantastic water and really nice restaurant.

Super clean and quite. As described . Didn’t see to many deer coming in though. Few cars when we pulled in but each got their own picnic table / trash/bbq. Woke to a cool view

Pet friendly camp site on the Groot Brak River at Groot Brak near Mossel Bay in the Western Cape. Each site has water, electricity and a braai.

We stayed here last night. Nice overnight spot - far enough off the main road that traffic noise isn't an issue. Nice, clean setting - trees, picnic areas, and a walkway where we were able to stretch our legs.

Recommend you park in the RV area. We parked in the truck area & a truck pulled in next to us with less than 5 feet clearance of our pullout. Much quieter and less crowded in the RV parking area.

Just at the entrance of Kilimanjaro NP, no park fees. Tidy area with a few chalets (70$ and 45000 tzs for residents) and grassy areas where it is possible to pitch a tent (10$pp). But roof top tent and vehicles can't go further the parking area. No open view to the nearby summits which can be seen from some plqces between the trees.

Pretty level, big gravel parking lot at the entrance to Montezuma Castle national Monument, where they don’t want RVs to come to the parking lot between 10 and 2 PM. We’re using this parking area to wait until 2 PM. Maybe we’ll spend the night here after visiting the national monument.

I called ahead and they said their showers are now closed. Likely due to covid.

Established camp ground right on the beach. The entrance is at the Kiosko which is open all night. Only 2 other people with rigs are here. Plenty of space to choose your own spot, many with shade, all with pads for tables and chairs. There is 220 electric, if you need an adapter, bring it. Quiet, clean, showers with no hot water and I had difficulty signing into the internet. The per night is between $300.00Mx and $450.00 and I'm not sure what it's based on. I paid $450.00Mx for 1 person with an 18ft rig. The only thing is there is little else out this end of the beach and with 3 places listed as closed if you need to eat you'll be hailing a taxi.

We camp out here for a night have big parking spots in front of the church at night is a little loud and people walking by but we sleep well. The spot is close to the highways and the neighborhood seems sketchy at first but chill at night

Great place to get away. Paved road to non washerboard and non potholed gravel road. No body out here from 4 pm to noon the next day. Few fire rings and that’s all. Great place for some recreational pursuits.

We slept here for four nights, we sold our crafts very well in the afternoon. Very friendly and helpful people. The gardeners provided us with water, there are very clean bathrooms in the municipal building

Dump station is open, next to the road. Water pump. Water is potable (as per Speedway's employee) but pressure is low.

You can get your Covid ANTIGEN test in this laboratory. It costs 1300 pesos per person and is good for crossing into Guatemala.

Results in 30 minutes. Great service and clean/professional environment.

Random turn-off for OHV road. Sign indicates 4x4 - high clearance and allows for camping after first mile. No fires. No toilets.

Some extremely rocky parts I definitely wouldn’t try without A/T tires. Didn’t explore much and found a turn off just after the first mile. Quiet. Clean. Very scenic up off of Daylight Pass Rd. Perfect crash site between Death Valley NP and Rhyolite. I slept in the truck, ground and spiky bushes would probably make getting a tent down pretty rough.

Impassable road due to ice- spent hours getting unstuck and had to reverse down- what an adventure! Looks like the ATV folks are having fun though!

It is exactly as described. There are plenty space for the night. They have a security guy and cameras around, pretty safe to spend the night there. I parked my camper and I plug it with electricity. Totally recommended for one night.

Dirt hard packed road off HWY 78. Just a 1/4 mile or so off the main road. WiFi open spot that would accommodate any large vehicles. Quiet. No one else around. Further down the road there were no other accessible pull off without risking a sand/stuck vehicle. Good cell phone service with Sprint.

Really nice place for having a cup of coffee or a lunch. The Sirloin sandwich was fantastic and also the coffee was really good.

Well equipped campsite with hot shower, water taps, barbecue, picnic tables, bar area and a restaurant overlooking the amazing lake. No real clear view of neither the Kilimanjaro nor the lake from any campsites (unless you really look for it through the trees) but from the restaurant you can really see them. Small menu for food, it was okay. Beer 5,000tzs. Camping 38,500tzs ppn. Yes the government fees still exists and costs around 35 usd ppn. Unstable 4g connection with Vodacom but works well enough.
