Plenty of room for a 40 foot bus/RV

Not many options for boondocking around here, always feel safe and secure here at Cracker Barrel

Indeed a very big and specialy built place with lots of little details.Water is from a borehole (there are no springs in this area). Lights from Solar at the bar and indoor toilet/shower. We saw 4 Kudus, 3 Springbocks and lots of birds. Sign says 4x4 needed as the road is very rocky. N$ 200 ppn, fire wood N$ 30 a bundle. As Hannes does not live here permanently it is good to call ahead so the place can be prepared (+264811283234) 🤩 No mobile reception.

Large, flat, wind protection, not visible from the road if you hide under the bridge (doesn't looks like it's in good shape), very bad smell because all of the crap and garbage around. Looks like people use it as a toilet. No mobile signal. Accessible for all kinds of vehicles.

Great spot for those with high clearance and 4wd. I did it in 2wd, and good tires. The fall’s themselves are amazing. Excellent photo op for your rig. Lots of side by side rigs and motorcycles use these trails. There’s about half dozen spots to pick from. All informal. Great swimming spot during the summer. Took about an hour to drive in.

Cute little beach cafe, overlooking 1st point. Good prices and very friendly staff. Easy to walk to from the Scorpion Bay campground.

Wonderful and nice place. It is like visiting a friends garden with access to the water. You can rent bikes, Kanus and SUP.
There is a common kitchen, shower, toilet,.. all like shown on the pictures.
The owner is very friendly.
The place is OPEN (on google maps it is closed but it’s open) so there are not so many visitors.

Great family run ranch in a very remote location. BMW F800 accessed it pretty easily from Mex 3. Was intent on going through Coyote when I left but Mike advised me to go back out the way I came in as I was traveling solo and it gets pretty hairy.

We had to call Lise so we could get into the green gate. We had to call twice and she explained that she sometimes doesn’t hear the phone when she is in the city, so don‘t give up when she does not pick up right away!
Rolf and Lise have a beautiful property with two leveled spots where you can park or put up your tent. One is very hidden in the woods and the one we chose next to their driveway had a beautiful view. Cabinas are also available. The pool is usually heated but due to Cov-19 they have to save money so its cool now but clean. Hot showers and clean bathroom you can use. The view over the mountains is very beautiful! Many birds during the day and fireflies and lots of stars during the night. It got VERY cold at night so make sure you have something warm to wear. The driveway is very deep so be aware of that. We were only driving through to get back to San José and needed a place to stay for the night otherwise we would have spend more days there! Added some pictures aswell.

As advertised. Perfect, quiet spot with nothing but waves to be the bother. Could’ve parked at any of the lots between ocean view and the main strip and been okay (before May).

Public parking directly in front of tamala Beach resort. No water or electricity but you can use the facilities in tamala if you spend some money at the bar. Very nice pool!

Park that features a long path by the ocean (including underneath a long bridge), a hose connected to potable water perfect for filling up at, picnic tables and benches, and a parking lot with ocean views. Pet friendly park and sometimes dolphins can be seen (especially at sunset). Park is closed from 11pm-5am so I wouldn't recommend parking here overnight.

Wide open with lots of places to camp. Did see someone in a truck stuck in the sand down by the lake so be careful where you drive. Was pretty windy and with the storm coming in, bringing 50+ mph gusts, we only stayed one night.

We slept here for two nights, because in the Termas you can not camp. Nice to arrive at the evening and still get a bath in hot water .

Nice campground, partly on grass. With a tent you can camp between the trees, but there are only a few spots where you can stand with a car (and rooftop tent). The ablution block was cleaned at least once a day. The Wifi is reliable, the pools are nice and the beach close by. We recommend to take surfing lessons with Lapa Surf School in this area, the hostel nearby can help you to arrange it. Had a great time here!

A free campsite just off the hi-way next to the river were you can take a swim. A bit of road noise. Lots of space to camp with your own privacy. Good for an overnight. No facilities at all though.

Tucked right against some pretty big rocks that cut down some of the wind. This is near the Lone Ranger Canyon, and on Friday night about five cars gathered in the canyon and had a rager, so I had techno music to sleep by and puking twenty-somethings wandering around my truck...
Dozens of great spots all around the valley - so drive around and find something you like.

Grateful that this spot was tagged! I arrived after dark and left with the sunrise. Could probably have stayed longer, but I wanted to watch the sunrise on the beach. No issues with law enforcement, and I was the only one parked for the night. Quiet & the stars were beautiful!

Lovely spot, but I didn’t stay for the night based on others that got the knock. It is pretty flooded as of March 4, 2021 due to the recent storms. I also noticed two vans had overnighted at the picnic center that says no overnights, but it doesn’t look like they were asked to move as they were there when I got in last night and still there when I came back for the sunrise.

Brilliant location about 1km from the main seal colony, set back 50m from the beach. Many seal cubs on the beach at present. 2m windbreak and deck area with table and bench. Long drop toilets (poor condition), no water. No smell from the seal colony today but plenty of flies! If the weather is good and only a light wind this is a perfect campground, in bad weather I imagine it’s awful. MTC 3G, N$100pppn

numerous dispersed camping sites along FS 689. plenty of room for any size rig. if the first couple of sites are taken, when you turn off of 618, never fear. keep going. Plenty of room to turn around at the end, where these coordinates are. stone fire rings. you packed it in/you pack it out. far enough from the interstate you don't hear road noise. 15 min to Red Rock Scenic Drive, 30 min to Sedona. 4 bars AT&T.

We stayed here for three nights.
Excellent for overnight.
Safe and quiet.
There were many others RVs.
On Sunday, we enjoyed the breakfast inside Cracker and it was so great.
