We asked the security guard in front of the casino where to park (Driving a Class C E450 towing a F150 pickup). He said anywhere we want and suggested the outer edges of the parking lot. Perfect spot to spend the night. Great cell phone coverage on both T-Mobile and Verizon. We didn't care much for the casino itself. It's one big room filled with slot machines (I prefer table games) Also, it was thick with smoke in the casino.

Very nice place. Each site with light, sink, braii stand with net and picnic table. No power plug at campsite.
Showers are hot and ablution clean and well maintained.
At the reception there is a nice lounge you can sit, also restaurant. There is also WiFi at the reception (they didn't charge us extra to login). We asked the owner to chrage our electronics at the reception as there's no power plugs down at the camp. (3 min walk).
Swimming pool is there as well.
There is a nice short hike / car trail up the hill for sunset with stone picnic table built up top and beautiful views.
The castle officially close at the moment but the guy who take care of it can do tours and open it for you if you're lucky. He chrage 70 dollars pp. We skipped the offer...

We saw other reviews saying the rate is 100pp/pn. In our case the lady at reception told us 150. We told her we thought it's 100, to that she replied it's must be a special discount because the rate is 150.
We decided not to make a big deal out of it and pay 300 for the both of us.
All in all, even at that rate it's still pretty nice place for a chill day.
Not much to do around as the owner said himself, but sometimes that's a good thing :)

Epupa Falls Lodge & Campsite is privately own and run - which makes for an exceptional experience. Koos has been in the area for +- 30 years, so to tap into his wealth of knowledge is an evening not to forget.
The lodge and campsite also have fresh borehole water, solar electricity during the daylight hours, a fabulous restaurant and deck bar and if you feel like it - dip into the pool for a very welcome cool down.

Highly recommended.

It is just a stunning area! You could spend easily a couple of days here. There are several hiking trails.

If you drive carefully, you can do the road with every car (we met some), altough ot might be very slippery when wet. But you don't need to go the whole way up, there are several good camping spots along the road. Bring firewood if you want to light a fire.

We had a great clear night with northern lights up there.

Small nice shop next to the garage. They sell froots and veggies. Eggs. Some meat.

Grassy area just above the beach, approached by a rough stony track down from the road. Other site says that the farmer calls round to charge £2.50 per person overnight but no one came. Windy overnight, and only 1 other van there.

Amazing spot. Epic views. A++. Only disadvantage is that people show up at the crack of dawn to launch kayaks and fishing boats.

Very nice place. We didn't camp, just stopped for lunch and beer. The lady who owns the place is super friendly and nice. We had burgers with fries and salad. It was very good. Very nice place to stop over. All the town has MTC LTE Coverage. She have Wifi for free, and takes credit card.
There's ATM at the Puma fueling station

A short trail of about 50m long on the road side . levelling blocks will be really helpful. Few cars passing at night, more in morning.

Nice area, but there is a sign at the neighborhood entrance that says parking by permit only. Vehicles in the area had BC plates / permits.
I took the risk for a few hours in the early morning and didn’t get a citation.
Parking is on a slope.

If you are under 20’ I suggest parking in lot 2 as the cost is half the price of the oversize lot (lot 3).
I arrived before sunrise and saw lots of campers, vans, and RV’s in lot 3. Some had their stairs down and foggy windows, clearly sleeping in their vehicle. There was a sign that said no sleeping in vehicle and police station across the street but maybe they don’t check on it after hours!

Great, cheap camping. Right on the river. BONUS: Walkable to downtown watering holes & eateries!

Even this late in the season, all but one or two spots filled up last night.

Beautiful falls and forest trails. Definitely worth a stop to stretch your legs. Dog friendly, must be on a leash but there were a lot of people that had their dogs off leash.
There are longer trails or you can go straight to the falls (about a 10 min walk one-way).
There is a short trail from the falls that goes along the fence that I highly suggest. It takes you back to the Black Tusk (volcano core) and it’s a gorgeous view.
Everything took about 30 min total.

Right on the corner of the panaderia. There’s a parking lot too you can park while you fill up for a while. It’s very slow but it’s free and I couldn’t find garrafones in the stores.

We are in a 27’ and got about 1/4 mile up the dirt portion of the road and pulled over as it was quite narrow and pitted. Rode the bicycle to scout. Would not recommend going to the trailhead at the top for larger rigs but found a parking pull out and a gated pull out about half way up perfect for us and they have better views.
I advise that if you are longer than 25’, scout it out to make sure you’re comfortable with the terrain.

Amazing! Best laundromat we’ve found in over two years on the road - clean, reasonably priced, machines work and dryers are great, not to mention very friendly!

It doesn’t hurt that the wifi is fast :)

In the off season (2nd Sunday after labor day) the metered parking isn't enforced at all. There's no signs saying you can't leave your car there overnight, and a few others had done the same. No difference if I'm inside it sleeping or not. This spot is in a residential area with two spots for parallel parking all the way at the end of the street. Beach access within 30 feet. Sipped coffee and watched the sun rise this morning. No toilets but you can find some nearby, 4 bars LTE, neighbors on morning jog didn't mind me, even said hello. Pets welcome but only allowed on Beach during certain times. If it's not off season, use at your own risk. I know it gets busy but I don't know if it's enforced. Enjoy my favorite spot in Dewey!

Good spot. Cows. A few rvs and ATVs around, but quiet. A little difficult to find a level spot. Good service. Definitely a good place.
