Spacious parking. Pretty quiet for downtown parking. Modern Showers and toilets, but ask the guard to turn the hot water heater up.. they have 3 dogs but they are well behaved. Swimming pool with beds. Shade or sunshine. 2km to downtown..

this is actually an amazing little gym and it is right on the strip and it wasn't too loud but of course I have a little trailer so I was inside and I wasn't bothered too much by

Open space between pine trees close to a small stream. Close to the main road, but hidden from view by the trees. Traffic can be quite noisy. A few vehicles and horse drawn carriages passed by on the small track to the main road, but did not disturb us.

Great vet that provided the necessary health certificate. Very friendly and helpful.

very nice hotel with a fantastic view. Garage for several motorbikes or a sprinter van, 2 kitchens (may ask to chip in a bit for gas if you use it a lot) and a really nice terrace overlooking the valley. Oscar the owner is awesome and very helpful. comfier beds. rooms with view hot showers 40/PP but can negotiate down slightly if you stay multiple days. highly recommend!

nice hostel in the middle o la Victoria coffee farm. good place to relax no party people here.
it books out often but they have hammocks in case you turn up here and it's full. dorm 40 hammock 20.

you can drive up here on a motorcycle no worries. I dunno if they have car parking spaces though.

Can't agree with other regarding the food. Main was mushy spaghetti and baked beans mixed together, unseasoned. No fish. But not much else around here.

Municipal building of the town. Can get information about local hot springs and can use their clean bathrooms. Quiet town not much in the way of supplies so come prepared. Friendly and helpful people.

beautiful spot an a grassy area directlay above a beautiful wild beach. Take the road to the right at the small village and after the hill go down the left side of the gravel road to thebeach. youcan also drive down the gravel road, that end at the beach. severak places here, also forbigger rigs.

A nice Hostería in the pink house. Price for a double room per night AR$ 1000 incl. simple breakfast with homemade bread. They also serve lunch and dinner at extra cost. Some rooms have only inside windows. It's clean and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Laundry is also available. TV, WiFi in comedor and hot shower.

Small, shady and sheltered campground. No showers for campers, but there are a few rooms with hot water bathrooms. Camping 200 pesos pp, room 350 pp (US$5/8.50).

Ablusion is a bit out dated but functional. Guy at reception speaks good english.
From here you can walk to centre by steep stairs, bit not too difficult. Can be slippery when wet!

This beach spot is great. But heads up, there’s a creep who was driving around the area during the day yesterday, leering at women, masturbating and exposing himself. I don’t know if he comes around regularly but keep your eyes peeled. Driving a dark grey Jeep with Mexican plates.

We agree with everything said below. This was the perfect place for us to explore the city and the area around. We felt very welcome and safe and Christian and Iris were incredibly helpful. They organized two volcano tours for us and gave us a lot of tips what to do in the area. Wanted to stay only a few days, ended up staying two weeks here and enjoyed every single day. 50Q pp/n incl. Breakfast!!

This old camping is not abandoned but in old shape. electricity 110 and 220, water showers with hot water available usable...and banos. They have accepted my French automobile association to give to me a fair price 15R$/pers + 8 for motorhome. What to say even if the site is more or less maintained....it is a little far from the centre 3,5km, but here at Ouro Preto not a lot of choice. Bus every hour but the (nice) guy could also drives you to the city. Seems quiet surrounded by trees.

Gravel parking space at the end of the maps.me road. Ridiculously hot hot springs beautiful small rivers of 70 degree Celsius (Can boil eggs in the water) we stopped for lunch here but could definitely stay the night in peace with a great view of surrounding hillsides. Definitely come stay the night during the rainy season. If you get a night of a lot of rain then the run off mixes with the hot water pool and rivers and you can actually get into the natural springs. Note: these are natural and not built up ie mud bottoms, grass on the sides.

Turn left after the bridge and take the dirt road up! Cars Can’t take the main road into town, only motos. 90 gas (13 soles/g) & diesel (13.80/g)
