Most or all of the camping immediately before Needles Overlook has been closed as of May 2018.

This camping site's turnoff is just before the no camping sign. There is a moderately sized flat area on the right side of the paved road opposite the two track to the South. Take the two track path to this site.

There is one fire ring and a few flat spots just before the trail breaks over a ridge and becomes 4wd. I suspect there are better sites along the rim farther down trail, but my significant other was ready to stop.

Relaxed atmosphere and setting in a calm bay, free gear is a big plus. Nice people and a great stay overall

A short walk into town and to the market, nice and peacefull at night, hummingbirds enjoying the beautiful flowers around the grass patch at day. We really loved this place!

It’s a public parking on the waterfront (beautiful view), 15kr/hour during the day but free at night. Location is convenient, it’s 10-15min walking to the historic center.Relatively quiet during the night, the only downside is that there are no facilities at all and it is very exposed, but the boat-hotel near allowed us to use their toilets (and their WiFi).

Nice place. Be careful as this is the landing area of the hot air balloons. Gets noisy in the morning but no problem and great view.

Yes a very nice place with even a small hut to find shelter in case of wind or rain.

A good place to stay over night . 5 dollars per night. It’s near cowtown Coliseum (rodeo) - Billy Bob’s Texas (bull rider)....

Not sure why the last entry is so grumpy, this place is great and run by the some of the kindest most accomodating folks you'll meet. It's in the city so its a tight space but has all you could ask for.

If you do not like the strong wind, go down to the small valley and camp behind the long rock wall. Has also caves for tents

Gas station close to Calobre. Asked to park and they let us stay for the night and also offered us showers.

Best spot on the peninsula, park behind the little building and you will be partly out of sight. Amazing sunset and view! We had nothing to pay (no old lady).

Safe place to stay. The music of the Night club / Restaurant is very loud. But only till 10pm. Night is quite.

Camping is in the back, so fairly quiet with not much road noise. Nothing special to look at, but the amenities made it a wonderful stopover to get some work done. They have just completed a new ablution block for the women campers. Very nice and lots of room. Good water pressure, hot water in both ablutions. Large sinks outside for dishes/laundry. Access to electricity. Owner trying to make more camper friendly, thus increasing WiFi reach (with iPad we got WiFi in camp and it was good enough to stream a YouTube video). WiFi is free! We were able to update our website and upload pictures via their WiFi.
Staff very nice and accommodating. They called us a tuk tuk to go into the market for restocking of fruit/veg/eggs. Very easy and quick.
Pool is beautifully clean and clear and available for campers.

Stayed here again. Met a lot of travellers this time: cars, motorbikers, bicyclists and backpackers. Apple Hostel is well on its way to becoming the Tes or Green House of Bishkek.

Old corral on BLM ranching land, two minutes from the highway. Access from dirt road on the west side of Highway 89 just south of Blue Pool Wash. Close the gate behind you; corral is 200 yards/m along a dirt road.

We accessed it with a 2WD Sprinter; not recommended for big rigs or low-clearance vehicles.

New prices, tent with two persons is now 80p.pp still very cheap!

a good buffet at 15 reales per person, away from the hustle and bustle of the city of torres, in an airy space surrounded by a small garden. with parking.

AKA Gun Creek this is a site run by BC Hydro you’ll find them all over BC it’s totally free. Nice level land classic picnic tables. Swimming depends on the water levels and how swiftly it’s moving.

Price changed to 20 Lira per night. Rest is still the same.

Beautiful views of the mountains, fish jumping and mountain sheep on the hills. Stayed here for a night it was nice.

An excellent restaurant with gastronomic mexican food. The chef is great very friendly. He mades is own baguette. 185 $ the plate with the first dishes, beverage and dessert ...

We came a little after 9 so the gates were closed.. we were not able to catch someones attention. Unfortunately! Tried to wildcamp somewhere near but the police told us to leave since its dangerous outside. Stayed at Limonal instead.

Btw, we did the unpaved road with our chevy van, hard but certainly possible.

We arrived late at night, and were not allowed to park on the parkinglot, but the guard was nice and showed us a spot right behind the Subway building. Felt safe. Woke up with tue sound of three biiiig parrots!:) You can use the wifi from Tacobell, password: t@c0bell.

Oh, i forgot: if you order something at Subway, double check your receipt/change. They secretly charged us more than we ordered..
