A powerful testament to the evils of genocide. A very well done and informative memorial. Forcing you to confront the horrors of the genocide.

Not a campsite! Other guests must have been lucky. We thought we’d stop her given the last review. However the camping area is next to the pool bar and very loud. Initially they wanted to charge us $100 dollars. We negotiated down to $40 and access to a room. So not worth this money, but we had no choice after arriving late in the afternoon. To its credit the pool is massive. The staff were friendly, but the price to start with and finally negotiated was too much!

Still 100,- pppn + 100,- for caravans. Friendly security guards (24h). As said before not the most vibrant place. We had to stay here because we didn’t had any other option. Ok for a stopover.

nice place hidden behind a hill off the road south to st Antonio de los cobres. its an open and flat space right next to a little farm. nobody was there when we camped here. quite windy for 2 or 3 hours in the evening. it is nice and calm here. we enjoyed 2 quiet nights here.

Modern and high standard supermarket where you can find anything. Lots of imports such as cheese. A bit expensive but worth it

15USD for a single room with big bed and ventilator, 20USD for the same room with AirCon, offered simple breakfast for 3USD ... really nice village at the lake, worth a stop to relax, cheap restaurants are close to the hotel ...

No doubt the best place in town. I did try 2 other garage in Ventura and nothing compare to here. Friendly, helpfull and professionnel. Tell you the exact thing and did a great job on my Rialta '97. Gabe and his team are the best.

Very well kept place. Very expensive! They wanted 30.000 cop per person to stay in the van. Did not feel welcome and left for the camping 5km further the road.

Hostel very friendly, with space to park motorcycles and bicycles. In front of a large park where you could park trailers or mobile homes.
The hostel only has shared rooms (Bunk beds, mixed 8 people, mix 6 and mix 4) one toilet with shower per room. Nice house and comfortable backyard.

Great off road spot, easy to get to. A few spots to camp along the way but not near other people. At the base of the Mts. Open space, rock fire pit. Kid & pet friendly. Average phone service.

There is no possibility of camping now. But there are lovely cabañas to rent. The owner is very friendly and the area just beautiful. We saw monkeys and toucans and a lot of other animals. The lagoon is very clear and nice to explore with the kayaks included in the price of the cabanas. The breakfast which is included as well is very nice. The cabanas are 1400 Pesos for 2 adults with 2 children. Every additional adult costs 200 more.
Highly recommended place to stay if you like nature! :)

I hoped to park up here but there was only one spot next to an abandoned car and in proximity of the horses (smell and flies).

I'm sure it's great for rooms but not at all suitable for camping or parking up. Go to Wildwin instead for this.

We slept there without a problem, its right in front of the municipal police station. Lots of curious kids, quite noisy during the day, but gets calm at night. We took a collectivo from there to go to Semuc Champey, 25Qtz/pp.

Very clean bathroom, but the single shower for women wasn’t really good. Clean, hot and good pressure but the shower head was mostly blocked so only few water streams. Not really worth 800$. I think the men have more and better ones.
But the WiFi was pretty good!
