Don’t know about the water pump, but this was a great place to park for the night in a 40ft motor home towing a small car. Rest rooms were open and no hwy noise. We were parked with 5 other motor homes by about 5:30 pm. The remaining 10 or 12 big rig parking spots were occupied by 8pm.

No surprises. It’s a parking lot behind a restaurant and motel. Wi-Fi connection is reliable and it looks like they’ve got bathrooms and showers though I will probably use my own.

Mike is the ultimate host. Great spot. The guy makes a killer breakfast sandwich.
Downside… he’s lost his lease on the property and will no longer be able to host after this month. He says he’s looking at other spots but not sure if he’ll be able to keep up with campers.

Stayed here for a few nights before crossing into Honduras. Good food, friendly owners, good wifi and right at the beach. Other places around weren't as nice.

Excelente lugar para estar antes o después de Yosemite. Personal muy amable viene a tomar nota de las placas y el tiempo que se planea estar. Nos dijeron que encantados de recibir RVs o Campers. 5 días máximo. Gratis. Muy buena cobertura de Verizon. Muy rápido.
Great place to stay before/after Yosemite. Really kind stuff came to take note your plates and ask for time planning to stay. They said more than welcome to receive RV or Campers. Max 5 days. Free. Full Verizon coverage, really fast.

Small quiet park on the end of a roundabout just past the Bass Pro shop.. only one parking lot light. Quiet at night.

Walking path, charcoal grills, picnic tables, river view..

No “no overnight parking” signs.. no gates..

A Skoolie could fit depending on how busy the lot is, 75% chance.

Reservation for Pavillion shows the schedule.
Remember to leave it better than you found it!

excellent. space enough for 2 small RVs or 1 large. road not too rough, certainly good enough for low clearance vehicle like mine (19 ft Sprinter w low steps). No traffic at night. No cell. lots of RVs booning across the highway but this was kinda exclusive.

Only post in the region with good quality wi-fi. Covered parking. Great the convenience store. Shower only for men truck drivers. There is no shower available in the women's bathroom. Even so, we spent the night. A little noisy on the highway.

As described previously. Amazing cenotes with very few visitors, not to be missed. We arrived at 6:45 and luckily just caught the owners leaving. We camped on the well kept lawn/ garden under the trees. Everything great. The owners gave a lovely 15 minute tour of the first cenote and then left us to swim in the cave at night. Then spent all next day swimming in the crystal clear semi- open 2nd cenote, which the light hits starting around 9am. The Mayan family was so nice and welcoming and made us feel at home. 100 pesos per person for entrance to the two cenotes and 100 for camping p/p. We drove on the dirt road to arrive in a tiny rental car, carefully but without problem.

One great spot, was driving by and flipped a U-turn upon seeing a camper. Lots of spots and great views. 4x4 recommended but not required as there was a Prius below me but to get to the top 4x4, dry camping no facilities spots all the way to the top nice and spread out

We parked paralel on the street front of the amphitheater. Great spot to spend the night. Went for a stroll around the cascade and former powerplant( now a cafe) after dinner. Slept well pretty quiet for a downtown. Free public wifis accessible from the area.

I've stayed here. It was nice. We parked next to the lake. Has a pit toilet bathroom. It's called the Sanchez Stabilization Park. Has some more official-type camp spots near the bathroom with some tables and then there are areas around the lake where you can park overnight. It was quiet when we were there. There was a bit of trash near the bathroom after a big holiday.
