Water house with free clear water from a short tube.

Nice sandy beach with a small forest behind. To get here, you have to drive through the sand tracks in the small village. You can camp on the beach or in the forest

The sheep, horses and cows come in the morning to drink. We had 1 car also visiting the beach in the evening, otherwise quiet.

Strong 4G Megacom.

Newly renovated Guesthouse in a residential area, safe parking in the lockyard (cars) or garage (motorbikes). Huuuuuge bathroom with washing machine and endless hot water. Breakfast included (12000/20€ double). Very hospitable owner, well worth the money. She and her daughter speak good English. If you ask, they will cook for you a delicious dinner. Homemade is always the best!

Definitely a nice place to camp. There will be people fishing at night and early morning, but they're very quiet. There is some noise from the industry and roads around, but I guess that's unavoidable now that we're back in civilization...

Quiet little spot with beautiful view. Close to the City of Murnau.

Small store selling fruit, veg and supplies. Owner's speak good English and are really friendly and helpful. They sell coffee, which you can drink in the Yurt, and are opening an actual cafe by next year.

Good camping site, good restaurant. Pitches with sun protection.

Please add some form of directions in the description or coordinates for the start of the road to it. Without trying every track past each house in this village it's impossible to find the one that leads uphill to this spot. Didn't find it.

This is an ok place just about 40m from the motorway. Flat. It's not the quietest but we needed somewhere close and with our 2wd not into the steppe.

Stayed here. Nothing changed - all comments are still valid :). Cheap and dirty :) 70S£ per person in dorm.
Safe parking is a bonus.

Brandnew, not properly cleaned up yet. On the 45, therefore very noisy. Everything is done on the cheap: the electric shower is still working , though. 30000 for a double room with private bathroom.Very slow WiFi in room. Friendly staff. Restaurant not recommended. You could park on their big car park but it would be very noisy. Didn’t ask their price for sleeping in the car.

Many new restaurants. Pay parking. Very busy when I passed this site. Didn’t stay.

Municipal campsite. Well organized and cheap. Nothing fancy, but decent enough for 1 or 2 nights. €3.15 per person, same per car, same per tent, and same for electricity. €1.10 per child, and same per dog. €2.10 per motorcycle. All prices per night. €0.22 taxes.
Pitches are quite large and flat. Some trees for shadow. About 40 pitches. Receptionist didn't speak English but was nice. Ablutions simple and moderately clean. Showers have fixed temperature, about lukewarm.
No admittance after 10 pm, so arrive on time.
Not as noisy at night as you might expect.

This place is fantastic. Just like the person before us described, they let us camp on their football field for free and not only that, they also let us use the facilities (including a warm shower) for free.
The family is setting up a fantastic place there. The son (Jhoy) showed us their Trucha farm, their own private waterfall with hydroelectric powerplant, fruit and vegetable garden, etc. pp. It is truly so much more than we expected when we stopped her at 10pm just looking for a safe place to sleep. And the food they offer is incredibly good and affordable (Lomo saltado or pollo saltado for 12PEN each).
If you pass by here, you should definitely stop.

NOTE: Clearance needed. Track to get to this place is only about 500m long but somewhat rough and steep. See attached photos for place.
You will find this spot when you drive onto the pass and turn into the gravel road that leads up towards the antennas. About half way in a corner of the track there is a flat spot suitable for 1-2 rigs with an incredible view over the valley. It is far enough away from the houses to not be disturbed and to have a wild shower. No one passed by the entire time we stood here. Definitely one of the most scenic spots we have camped on during our trip so far. We went to the iOverlander spot "Mirador in front of El Lanche chapel" close by but it is merely big enough for one car, no privacy because right next to the road so we searched and found this. MUCH better choice in our opinion if you have a 4x4 and/or high clearance.

This spot has indeed a fantastic view. But no privacy really e.g. to have a camp shower and right next to the road (with admittedly little traffic). If you have a 4x4 or sufficient clearance, check out the spot we added close by "Level spot, secluded, incredible view".
If you don't have enough clearance, than this spot will certainly do.

Parad’ouro gas station. Very friendly people, quite place and safe, good restaurant and clean, internet wifi free, free parking for motorhome. Due our motorhome has solar panels, we don’t need external electricity, so we’re not sure if this item is available.

This still exists. We ended up paying about 40pesos after saying it was all the cash we had on us (my boyfriend’s fist language is Spanish which always helps in this situation)

But from our understanding they are not collecting for admittance to the waterfall, but as part of a protest against the government for services promised but not delivered. We were given a printed paper explaining this.

Easy to find up the logging road as mentioned. We camped about 10km past the Whiteswan Lake campground and then came to the Hotsprings in the AM. Only a few people at 830 but when we were leaving at 11ish the place was starting to get busy. Worth the visit!

It is at the end of a gravel road. Very windy as it’s right on the water.

Huge rest area with potable water and dump station. No “no overnight” signs. Picnic area. Bathroom close at 4 pm.

Great spot for a couple of nights (max allowed is 14 days).
Pretty quiet, excepted when there is the train.
Clean restrooms, potable water at the West of the campground.

Big rig are welcome here, so much space to park.

This is sort of a formal campsite at the beach next to a restaurant. You can swim
in the sea and there is a basic outdoor shower. It can be a little busy with Turkish campers but is a convenient site to stay.
