If you go to Iran, you will read this. In Quetta you can stay at police station for free. I did not know this and they brought me to Bloom Star hotel. Horrible rip off.

Pleasant hotel set around a courtyard, some construction still going on. Usual lack of maintenance found in almost all Ethiopian hotels; missing plugs, hot water no longer working, sockets defunct. Rooms are clean and reasonable size. There is okay WiFi - if you want it in your room, try and get one closest to the reception.
The manager is a bit of a pain. They have a stupid rule that seems that people of the same sex cannot share a bed, maybe this would be true to if they thought you weren't married. They made us take one room with two double beds but we still got it for 200 birr after some arguing.

Flat pit near the street on the highest point between Bafq and Javadiyeh. It is hidden from the street if you go to the back of the pit. The street is very low on traffic.

Here it's the famous site. The road is good, also without a 4x4, depending by direction of the wind. If the wind blows from south, it can be difficult for the water coming from the lake.

when you are not abel to fit on the boat it takes one hour to get on the next one!!!

Small road down a pretty steep narrow road that has seen washaways and partly fixed but 4x4 preferable. The beach is nice and some sand, quiet spot but visible from the road up top.

The site is flat, quiet and secluded with good cell service. Although the road in is passable by 2WD or big rigs, the 7 mile trek out there is covered with corrugations and might not be worth it for one night.

mirador on top of the Cliff. beautiful view. a bit of wind protection, if you park near the building. It seems new, but not in use. At night only one car cam of local young people. they stay one hour , make music and drink. after was quiet.

So glad this was posted because we also needed a large but hard to find fuse. Very friendly guy. If he has you pick it up at his supplier, Fusibles de Occidente, Google doesn't give you the street number and even with the street number the place looks like a house, no signs of a business whatsoever. Av. Alemania 1391. A gray and white house with a black gate. Ring the bell and a guy will help you. We showed him our order number and transaction done.

We boom dock here for the night, nothing spectacular but a nice and very quiet in the grassed car park on the river with flushing toilets open 24 hrs. $1 to park for 24 hrs. Surrounding areas seems to be farm land, no traffic at all. Just up this road is the oak park free campsite, which is also pinned on another post. Please note the water was high and talking to a local they said they were going to release water from up the river so this place will be flooded in the next month temporarily.

One of the 16 Chiloe churches (UNESCO). Very nice, cementary next to the church. Restaurant near by. We stood overnight in front of the church. It was totally quiet.

Pagamos $25,00 pesos para entrar, o Cenote é bonito e a água um azul bem lindo e limpinha. Vale a pena conhecer.

very nice, the owner is friendly and the Pico de Orizaba can be seen from the site, 200 pesos. a bit thought to get in with a Class A RV but doable.

This is a good roadside camp spot in case you need a break from the windy mountain roads. You can get down to the river result from here for a bath (although the water is really cold). There is some traffic on this road but it was quiet at night.

Still so good! Highly recommended! Everything (empanadas / fish Burger) is fresh. The empanadas are quite small. Just a hint to accommodate your order😉

Water refill for garrafones...filled our 20 lit and two gallons for 12 pesos. There is no store front, so you have to walk inside the parking area...

Oil change place —fast, honest and inexpensive. 650 pesos for a five liter oil change and they blew out my air filter. This was a relief after all the dusty hot driving for my bitty truck. These guys are great!!

Rooms start at 50C and up to 80C. The expensive ones with a/c. Clean and good value. Just follow the signs to find it.

Got plenty of bed bugs here last night (both of us), wifi is basically non existant so don't count on that. No one knows anything about the town (grocery store or atm?). Was told to take everything off the motos and take it up 2 flights of stairs to our rooms. Traffic is terrible in this town and don't bother trying the "grocery store"...

Nice little Hotel in Pasto. Ok to stay one night when heading north. Paid 30.000 COP for 2 person, matrimonial and private bathroom. We could park our 2 motobikes secure in the garage. Little shops, restaurants and hardware stores are in walking distance.
