Went back today and saw they had done a lot of rock work that limited the traffic flow. I couldn’t get into where I stayed previous visit.

very rustic I believe it is busy when events are happening, motorcyclists apparently love this area

Nice clean rest area with covered picnic tables, restrooms 24h, trash cans, it is a bit off the interstate and located at a bit higher elevation hence it has less noise from the interstate than the rest area going eastbound just across the state line in Texas. There is signage that states a stay limit of 24h. There is semi truck parking and as usual they come and go during the night....

going towards from Mexico to the USA, on a Saturday around sunset, we had more than an hour wait... other than that the usual questions and inspections, all done respectfully. I would recommend this place... I don't know what it's like in Tijuana but people told us to use this one instead.

Very nice, Betty and her son Antonio are great host. Their place is clean, hot showers, free kayaks for campers to use. Nice coffe shop with sandwiches available. 8.00 a night for Palapas. They also have cabins and RV spots

I just ask if it is ok to park my vehicle overnight if I am not a guest. This spot charges $10 for overnight parking. Is a bit loud between 2 highways- there is another residence inn not far from here that I’ve parked at where it was quieter. **the courtyard by Marriott next door does NOT allow non guest parking and apparently monitor their lot closely.

Pretty cool museum where you can appreciate a big collection. Free!!!

We parked about 500m up the hill from this spot as we couldn't find anyone at the hut marked and the track wasn't as good) The cars were ok and walk nice enough. NOTE: you could also access the pillars from the other side of the hill to the north (we hadn't realised and basically blindly followed the SatNav to this spot!).

The 14km from the tar M3 was ok, but bumpy in places so slow going but nothing to worry about (slow through - took about 45mins)

Nice view on the mountains.
Great campsites with benches and fire places.
Toilets are okay. You can stay here for up to 2 weeks.

Price now N$150pppn. Cheetah is no longer an attraction as it has been removed "by the authorities" according to the staff. Unfortunately owners not there when we arrived. Pool and ablutions clean, but we opted to carry on towards Rundu, rather than stay in a farmyard.

An awesome guy running this place, great passion for and a lot of knowledge of big bikes. We went here twice, first to get the front fork of our KTM adventure fixed and later with the KTM and tenere to get them properly cleaned. We were not allowed to pay anything more than the costs of the material and even received lunch.

The worldwide bikers community makes my heart glow.

Good gas station, with places to park and spend the night. There’s plenty of plugs outside to charge the phone. Bathrooms available. No showers.

The Camp: Spacious well kept campsite with ablutions (hot showers). Water & electricity available at communal kitchen which can be out of reach depending where you setup camp. $10pppn (Residence) & $30pppn (Non-Residence) (kids up to 12 years half price). Some benches and towel rails could be helpful as we had to place our stuff on the floor. You have to manage your own rubbish out of the park which we think is a brilliant rule.

The Park: Well managed big 5 reserve. We visited during rainy season so game viewing wasn’t easy but we still saw plenty game. Small antelope seemed very relaxed which means very low poaching activities and again compliments to management. The river loop up the Shire was accessible and extremely scenic with plenty birdlife and we had a amazing sighting of a pride of lionesses with 3x matured cubs. We heard hyena from camp at night and we had some amazing visits by a Spotted Eagle Owl. We can highly recommend and will definitely be back soon! Park Fees: $10pppd (Residence) and $30pppd (Non-Residence) + $4 per vehicle / day. Kids under 12 years half price.

Nous avons demandé la permission au comptoir a la clientèle pour passer une nuit et on nous a dit qu'ils acceptaient les motorisés ainsi que les vans. nous nous sommes donc installés du côté ou près dans sont installées. Il y en a déjà 4 ou 5.
Des gens super sympathiques.

Drive up to Cerro Los Linderos (2'600m) and hike up to Cerro Champaqui. It's only a 20 minutes walk from this spot to Cerro Champaqui, which is the highest mountain in Cordoba. You can spend a beautiful night here and enjoy a fantastic sunset. 4x4 recommended with heavier vehicule but a lot of small 2x2 cars drove up here. Grassy flat area to camp orpark with your car. Can get cold at night. No facilities.

Parking along the street arriving to the Wsll from the south. Between a line of tee shops and the promenade and terrace with views out the Tigris. Totally quiete at night dispite of be in the street

Very basic hostal in a street with lots of hostels.
We had a private room with a double bed and an own restroom with hot shower, TV and good wifi service.
But, you can hear a lot of sounds in that building during the night ...
Price was 40 Sol, but we got it for 30 Sol 😉

Best street parking during our trip. Very quiet, safe...hardly any cars passing. Good find!

Big parking with space for big rigs too. We asked inside and was all fine. 24 H patrouille by policecar. Didn’t bother us. We had a pleasant and quiet night. Wifi in Walmart and toilets too. Open from 07.00-23.00

This place worked well right off the 1. Would stay again.
