The only place in town that would sell insurance for foreign plates. There is no name outside, just a small yellow sign that says "Pago facil"

Quick and easy, friendly staff. They asked for the title along with the passport number and date of birth of the vehicle owner. For our 2000 jeep cherokee it cost $312 Argentinean pesos for one month. They offered us either one month or 4 months.

Really hard to find a shower around here. One of the campsites wanted 100P pp (3 bucks!) but these guys let is have one for 50P.

Still one of the best free camping sites in the area on the shore of a nice river. More camp spots further down the road. Fire pits, tables, pit toilets. Pack in Pack out.

Best restaurant in Campeche. Gourmet food reasonably priced. Chef Enrique takes pride in creating culinary delights. We ate here 3 days in a row. If you have to pick one place in Campeche to eat, this is the place.

Big walmart and multiple parking lot areas. Really busy.

We put the tent at the entrance of the church of Chilcabamba. Small village with really kind people and kids. There is water at the place.

Tried to find a room for three people, but they only had simples and doubles.
Also, dogs are not allowed (although the owner who put the first review put pet friendly on ‘yes’)

A very good place to wash your car and to change the oil. They washed our truck outside and the bottom and I payed 20 US-Dollars for more than 2 hours of work.

Water fountains and showers dot the whole shore line.

Dump station free. the door was openning. if not you can tel someone via the bell

as of this date they are no longer filling fixed tanks but they believe in 6 months they can legally restart.

I skated on past the first beach heading east. In he middle of the town I find a beach shower and a rather large water fountain. It’s a rather well kept area and it’s right next to the police department.

Nice place. Lucked out and got a spot with a stunning view and spotted a few whales. Yes it is free. Potable water and pit toilets available.

This is a full service photography and print shop. They can print high quality color graphics, stickers, passport photos and license plates. They made these on a hard plastic for us. 4 for $25.00usd. Check out the photos, you can barely tell the difference. They look perfect!

At the ‘plane on a plint’ turn left instead of right to Tamga. There is a steep rocky descent before you reach the beach and bay. The ground is firm and flat. Might need 4x4 to get out again. Some noise of the road depending on where you camp and there is not much traffic at night.

There is no sign outside but the coordinates are correct. We loved the private concert and his photobooks about his yurts in USA and Germany.

Make sure to take the unpaved road signposted as “Barksoon Valley”, best unpaved road in the country. Waterfalls are at the Youri Gagarin memorial statues. Short but steep trek to the small waterfall, we did not do the other one.

Great hot unmetered showers for 5$cad each! Very clean and you get your own private bathroom

Standard Walmart parking lot, stayed there one night without any issues, gets very quiet after midnight.

Nice grassy campground by the Yellowstone River. free as describes, but donations are accepted. There was plenty of firewood, and even a pile for the campers to use. Unfortunately it was kind of a mess; seems like it could be a party spot on weekends. restrooms were dirty, but well stocked. Great AT&T and Verizon service.

Who said it would be clean? Its a messy little bunk. Not worth anything. Dont bother cone here

Extremely good taco’s, well prices and friendly staff. Highly recommended, still so after trying lots of other taco joints here. Enjoy!

Filled up diesel for 5200 SOM per liter. Looks good.
