Very nice people! We went there with our T4 and a problem with the radiator. They disassembled it, cleaned it, removed the rust from the fans, gave us new fuses and made a full service on the car (inspection, oil and filter change) for 12000 rupees (125€). Fair price, good people! They are a multibrand workshop with a focus on European cars!

Ah, and they let us stay at the workshop the whole time! So guarded Parking, 24/7 toilet for free.

Agree with previous post, higly recommended. Tour is from 9 - 11 am, reservation 1 day in advance. We payed 25.000 pp, later we saw a brochure that mentioned payment is by donation. Maybe we misunderstood him on the phone about the price, but anway for us 25.000 was more than worth it.
Also the possibility to stay in an amazing eco lodge, a beautiful place. Don't know the price. No parkinglot, the lodge is in the middle of the restored jungle, but Carlos said you can park your car at the neighbours. Reservation necessary.

Beautiful place to pitch the tent, there are multiple beaches where you can stay. Park closes at 4, visitors were asked to leave. Campers could stay in return for their passports. We gave them copies which was fine.

Still paid EGP 400 when we left for the park entry fee (2 people) after which we found out 1 ticket was valid for up to 5 people so we were duped.

Otherwise, great place to stay

Great place👍😃! It is a very nice campsite indeed as mentioned in all the reviews below. We arrived on a sunday afternoon and the campsite was full of Brazilian famillies. Later later that day they were all gone and we had the whole campsite for our own.
But NOTICE: we didn’t know that the nearest shop is in Jardin, about 35km away! So to obtain some food and drinks we had to drive more than 70km🤨.

Dave has a nice house few meters from the sea and walking distance from the centre. He has a big garden where you can park, with access to water, shower, toilet, WiFi and you can also use the pool. The garden is closed, it is really safe ! He is also managing to build a maritime museum and he will be happy to tell you more and get your ideas ! He speaks English and would be happy to receive other travellers.
The price is about 125 pesos per person per night.

This is a camping spot next to the río de la vieja river. It cost 5.000 that you have to pay at the shop close to it. Beautiful place very quiet, full of nature and the locals are really friendly.

The gas station itself is extremely clean with nice people. There is a restaurant nearby and the night we stayed they had loud party music until 3am. Wasn’t sure whether it happens every day.

Spent one night here no problem. There is maybe room for one or two rigs. This area seems to be developing - lots of large houses in view of the site. We went into Mazatlan for a day then came back to the site that evening. Police knocked on the van and said it wasn't safe. We had to leave. Checked a few places in the city, settled on a dark parking lot and we're unsettled by voices right outside the van all night. Next day ran into a couple who spent the night on the Malecón who said they felt safe there.

At the recommended garage of Santiago-R it is told that this is the new location: Sierra Bella 1221. The new garage is called Monferrato and Martin doesn’t work here. The phone number is the same as the one Santiago-R. I spoke with Miguel, the owner. WiFi in waiting spot, code: sierrabella

Pretty large garage, also near Diez de Julio, so easy if you need to go shop for other parts. They look pretty professional, however I found them not so fast and pretty expensive.

Rooms start at 3,000N non-ac, 4,000N ac—we stayed in newer building 7,000N ac larger upstairs room. All rooms en-suite and have ceiling fan and tv. Our warm shower worked and windows had screens so didn’t need ac. Clean room (superior to damp smelling cave-like rooms at Lixborr Hotel in town). Family staff very friendly and cooked us a local dinner that was v good. Sunday night, bar was a little noisy but quieted down at 11. Secure parking in walled compound. Recommended if staying in Benin city.

This is one of the best RV parks we visited in Baya California. Only stayed one night, but would come back again. Dry camping is $300 pesos, full hook ups are $500, we paid for dry camping. You need to pay for dumpstation and water if you don’t pay the full price. Pool is nice, but did not have a chance to use it. Wifi was excellent and cell reception great too. Overall great but pricey.

Showers are nice and hot
