The park is a big lot with lots of buildings and a maze of businesses. I’ve been van lifeing in front of the anytime fitness for about a week- no trouble. I did one night at the Hilton’s parking lot that went fine. One night in front of the yoga studio and I guess someone saw me walking around and called the cops. Keep near the gym

This place has several points for wild camping which seem to change all the time because of the use of sand and rocks. The place is visited by locals by car for view and beach but after dark we saw nobody. To get there you go through the village of Caota with fish factories. It is 5 km from the village. We had the most beautiful view over the bay, a nice breeze and didn’t bother about being seen.

We stayed 3 nights, nice beach tough it was windy (jan-apr wind season)

Still free, no facilities. Just at the beach!

Leveled space for a few campers, sandwiched beteen sand dunes and the gravel road leading to a fishing camp / weekend shacks. Some spots have trees (not very high) and limited shade.

* No services
* Possibilities for walks towards mountains or along the shore (NW)

We did stay two different times (2 nights + 4 nights ). Locals told us this spot gets heavy usage during weekends a holidays, so we adjusted our stay accordingly, had good time and no problems. Free.

Nice and quiet location. You park on a big grassy area, with some palms. Shower and toilets are very clean. You can use the nice and fresh indoor pool❄️! With 25US$ per car for one night and 20US$ per night for 2 or more nights, it’s rather expensive.

Cheap hostel with comfy beds but limited kitchen facilities (two ring electric hotplate, a microwave and small fridge) and little communal space, but the best place we have stayed in Chile. Why.....because the people who run it are so friendly and well connected in the town and area. We were lucky enough to ended up with a free jeep tour of the local sights along side a journalist, ate with the owner and his son that night and he arrange for a local restaurant to cook us king crab the next. They also put us in touch with a tour to the king penguins that included other sights along the way, a visit to the last gold miner on Tiera del Fuego and included a professional photographer all day. Amazing!
Charged us $25,000 per night for family of four with breakfast.

A local indigenous community there. Friendly and really interesting people would host you if you take some tour with them... And you definitely should!! It is a different experience from the main tourist activities in Costa Rica. Cultural tours are diverse and all really interesting (chocoloate making, petroglyphs, cascades, traditional carving, ...). Plus they offer meal in their houses at night. Highly recommended!

Beautiful road that rival the national parks, with all its turquoise lakes and glaciers. It's just a shame that all the mining operations kind of ruin the beauty a bit.

Kids blocking the road with orange cones. They probably wanted money or food, but we did a grimace contest and when they were entertained enough, they removed the barrier. Dont give them anything other than a good laugh!

Open field no amenities. Be careful the driveway...if it can be called that. Has a massive drop that scraped the tow bar. better to go over the grass to one side effects the drive. I parked here overnight in a 25' Class C towing a car. You share the field with a local donkey. Best to park far to one side as people do use the field.

Well cared and perfectly situated, mind the sandy way. French owned restaurant near by. Direct access to the beach. Shops are few km away. Very friendly staff. Although not initially designed for tents it was no problem to pitch ours. 2 persons with bicycle 80 mad.

We really enjoyed our stay at Baja Serena. Although there is not much curb appeal, it was a great base for our explorations and the price was right. There is free wifi and clean working bathrooms and clean showers with hot water.

Mayra was a great host and even came to make sure we were happy with our stay.

It is located near Todos Santos in El Pescadero which is becoming more and more developed every day due to the influx of tourists every winter.

We definitely recommend staying here and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Not great for bigger units unless you are skilled at parking it. Quiet, friendly, monitored close, no generators allowed at all. Watch for bird fanatics all over, including in your camp for the perfect shot. Great access to many trails from here. You can not take dogs with you on the trails.

This is not really a suitable campsite. There is no track to the beach, the beach is at the bottom of a cliff, and is narrow, and would be impossible to camp on. We camped on a dead end road nearby, but it was a poor campsite. The land all around has been subdivided into individual blocks, so soon there will be houses.

We stayed here with 2 other overlanders and 3 big trucks, which arrived late and went early. They had a truck-party here. But the view is fantastic and we enjoyed the sun.

Not a huge lot maybe 15 spots, small trash can, water available (see picture for connection it's a weird one) shaded patio and picnic table. You will get a lot of company in the morning as it is right next to a biking/ running trail.

Very cute camping with very very friendly owners! Owner was very helpful and took good care of us! His son (whom is only a small kid) was very and friendly and showed us around. Owner made us a campfire and gave us a taste from some fruits that grow in his garden. Good and clean facilities! A lot of nice dogs (+puppies). Would definitely recommend.

Parking along Ruta 9 just out of Puerto Natales and near the water. Calm at night. We were here in March and no much traffic was going on. Good sleep!
