We had a really excellent curry here after going with the recommendation. Freshly made and lovely service. Don’t worry about the name!

Really nice teas and cofee, you can also order muffins, brownie, lemon pies and other delicious stuff. With the stunning view of the lake.

Good WiFi (according to Los Antiguos), I can't remember exactly the password, try with lagocostanera or costaneralago .

Great little campground next to train tracks and cute little town. Owners super nice. Clean bathrooms. Little store. Electric, water dump station. Washing up sink. $25 per night. Saw tent campers camping near the river bank, not sure what they pay.

Beautiful area and incredibly quiet. Truly grateful for the permission to stay. A bit eerie at night so try to arrive early especially with pets :)

Really unsafe place. After parking on the plaza in less than 1 minute we got 6 people with their hands on our vehicle!!!! the Municipal Police was just looking the other side..... To enter the church (no photo no video) they charge 25 pesos x person!!! A lot of youngsters with walky-talky radios ...mmmhhh... really strange!!! On the left side of the church there is the booth where to pay your entrance fee: the man there is very rude and does not look at you and when we ask him if he cares about tourists his answer was .. NO, I DO NOT CARE ABOUT TOURISTS !!! You are NOT welcome in this place!!! Don’t waste your time and money: let’s them to learn the hard way how to properly welcome tourists!!!

Great place to visit. I did not spend the night but was parked just outside the gate. Would be happy to spend the night here, but gotta keep on truckin. Lots of room just off both sides of the road by the gate. But needed to unhook the car to turn around as there is no pull through spot. The ruins are fantastic so glad I stopped.

Highly recommended. We had two issues with the van (the door wouldn't close properly and the suspension made noises on our Fiat Ducato). He was very friendly and helpful, took a test drive to check the problem with the suspension and fixed the door. He wouldn't say a price when we asked, please have the decency to pay him just as we did, which he gladly accepted.

We stayed there one night with the van. Nice place close to the park. No issues at all, note that we were there in off season though. Probably not ideal for tents due to the extreme wind.

We came to this place twice. The first a few weeks before. Arrived around 4 pm and Carlos helped us immediately. He communicated well and was very nice. He had to fix our front shock mounts (my technical terms may not be exact). Took approximately 4 hours and charged 1300 pesos. His father was also there and extremely friendly.
The next time Carlos was not available (we had his Instagram contact) but he arranged for his brother to meet us the next day. Brother was nice but not as friendly and communicative. We were there again 4-5 hours and he helped us with our back rear suspension but couldn’t do the other two major things we needed. Charged 500 pesos.

Only in winter. Large place on the banks of Saint-Jean lake. It is snow-clear and there are also fishing huts. Beautiful place. Access just before Camping Plage Soleil Couchant.

Hard to find but nice, secluded place. I asked three times for the way, because there are so many paths up the hill. Another good advice is to use satellite image to find it.
Stayed 6 nights at different places in the area, absolutely no problems. A few visitors or locals every day. More quiet is the section to the north beach. But a short, steep, bumpy ascending to get there.

Still an amazing place and free! Very rocky small road. High clearance needed. We recommend 4x4 to drive up. Looks like someone is fixing this small road to make it accessible for any car but not for now.

Water was hot. There were several stalls and some do have nice shower heads. You can use your gas receipt to get a shower or pay $20. I didn't see a women's shower area. The one area I did see was essentially a big room with toilet stalls, urinals, shower stalls and sinks. My boyfriend had the shower but I passed as it seemed like a male only area.

Out all the iOverlander spots in Cabo this is your best bet! Was super quiet at night and we ended up going to the villas on left to swim in the pool and jacuzzi at night. They even have an outdoor shower right by the beach!

Beautiful campsite with lots of amenities - everything you'll need. Clean bathrooms and showers, big communal kitchen and fast wifi in the kitchen area. Nice view on the Pacific, friendly and relaxed people. I wish we could have stayed longer. We paid 7000 Colones for 2 people with our own tent.

we had the entire park to ourselves. The arch itself is nice but not a must see, but the change of guards in front of the arch was fun to watch. I always asked myself what these poor guys in the glass sheds have done wrong in the military academy to be posted on this duty... maybe smoked behind the barracks? ;)

You can change money if you discreetly ask around the food or souvenir shops. rates vary hugely depending on whom we asked, so walk away if the offer is not good enough.

In the bazaar you can find lots of fresh local food products (caviar, fish, meat, cheese) and a couple alcohol stores.
