Fantastic. Nature couldn’t make a better campground.

In our opinion the best pizza we've had in South America. Sourdough base, wood-fired with good amount of toppings. Pizza enough for 2, one white wine and a pint of beer Urg$550.

Nice spot with beach access, coin operated showers, drinking water fill and a dump station. The park also has a campground with full hookups. The day-use fee is $10 and is good until sunset, this gives you access to the water fill, hot showers and flush toilets. The showers are coin operated, $1.25 for 5 minutes. The dump station is typically only for the campground, but the friendly staff sometimes make exceptions. Great spot to spend the day!

Arrived here after midnight in an Rv and were asked to move on at 8am by security as it is forbidden to sleep in vehicles in their lot.

RV parking area with electric hookups (must pay). Free overnight RV parking in gravel or designated parking areas (no hook ups). Close to highway, may be noisy for some (perfect if have ear plugs).

Great backpackers close to the Crocodile River entrance to Kruger NP. The nicest owners, who will help with all your planning for Kruger. It wasn't busy when we went and they upgraded us to a private room. Good WiFi, nice kitchen, parking. Nice rooms and beds. Mosquito nets. Cash only.
Dorm was 170 pppn on Hostelworld.

Beautiful place on a big rock overlooking the valley, the dunes and the Angolian mountains. Absolutely great. A bit windy, but it is not really a problem.

La Gondola is a super nice place to stay with or without car. This place has everything what a overlander needs! Direct beach access and parking with grass and/or sand, lots of chill out areas and a bar. No hight restrictions because of two different entrance gates. You can contact the owner Sergio directly with WhatsApp +593 985125249 or just stop by and ask for a place. The price per night per van is 8US$ including cold shower, bathroom, electricity and best WiFi ever.
The staff is super friendly and helps you with everything you need! The center is just 5 minutes walking and the surf spot 15 minutes walking along the beach away. Highly recommend this little paradise!

Went to Oliver to get some maintenance done on our VW Vanagon syncro Diesel.
Nice guy and great mechanic who knows his stuff.
Would go there anytime again.

a really good place, a little bit noisy because of the traffic not too far but we had a quiet night on the little parking lot. nice park. no amenities next

in good weather condition it was possible for our 100PS van 2wd to go to the top. streets are very narrow, in some parts rocky and bumpy and very steep. we enjoyed.

There are no showers in this campground, but you can shower at Old Faithful.
You should book in advance on the parks website.

We had a wonderful sunset at night. Very quiet place with a nice view. Would recommend to spend a night here.

We arrived walking with our 20 L bottle and they only wanted to give us the international price. No negotiation. We got fuel for the local price at another fuel station in town (direction Potusi).

We’ve been coming here for delicious coffee and gelato for years. Sit outside in the sun or in the cool interior on a hot day.

This is a small park. No “no overnights” sign. You can use the small forest behind for washrooms.

Great campground in the Huron National Forest. Within walking distance of the Lumberman’s Monument. Big campsites with lots of space in between. Collect your own firewood and have a fire. Only $15/night and if you have one of the Interagency Passes you pay $7.50/night. Great deal

Fantastic spot for small rigs in the woods next to the lake. Very quiet and dark. Free camping. No service. No mosquitos at this time!

Ac rooms are now 300.000 francs, non negotiable. Rooms with fan remain at 150.000. Electricity on and off all day but the room was reasonably cool. No breakfast, no restaurant. Good location.

Truck parking lot in the middle of the tiny town. Very quiet at night! Only 2 other trucks, not much movement at night. Slept like a baby.

5000 cop. They have a restaurant and toilets, also there is free wifi close to the school. Nice stop, very cheap vegetables and cheese.

Pull over by Comox Lake, next to a beach area that is hardly used and a short walk to the camp ground if you want to use toilets or showers. Stayed there for four nights no trouble, beautiful spot.

We pulled over in this valley after passing the border to Chile quite late at night. Flat grassy spot near to a river. It was very quiet and no car came by while we were there.

One of the most beautiful wild camping spots for us so far! Directly at the unbelievable turquoise Rio Baker. Very quiet and flat with a lot of space. Please keep this spot as amazing as it is!

Beautiful riverside spot up the Silver Skagit River Valley. A couple firepits, lots of room for a couple vehicles, and right beside the river with mountain views. Please respect the area, keep it clean, and enjoy.
