Lars | Small park with established picnic areas, portapotties. Very clean, small lake. Nice stroll around the lake. Two bars of T-Mobile. No real signage allowing overnight camping, but a local suggested it to us as a good spot. It was great. Be sure to check out the Billy the Kid museum in town. |

jefcan08 | A place to camp with excellent views of the lake and the Arenal volcano. The entrance road is gravel. You have to walk a few meters from the parking lot to the camping area. Accessible prices and they offer breakfast service for a very comfortable price. There are many activities to do in the surroundings for fun. |

Lars | Arrived just after the office closed. Three other campers in our loop (about 30? Spaces). So, very private. Lake is man-made and used for power generation apparently. Nice place though. |

/blogs/111636 | This is exactly what you’d expect of a dry camp. Unobstructed views of the ocean. Nice hot showers with plenty of pressure. Flushing toilets. WiFi at the front office. Dump and water was included in the price. Edgar (owner) is super helpful. We paid 50 pesos for a load (wash/dry) of laundry. Would definitely stay here again. |

/blogs/111636 | Staff was super friendly. Just let them know we wanted to shower and she showed us right where it was and even invited us to eat valentines cake sadly we had to pass on the cake. You have to put 50cents in to start the water. Good pressure nice and warm. 3$ was more than enough for the family of 4 to have a good shower. |

FeralForestGoblin | I called ahead and was told it was okay to park overnight. It was reasonably quiet for a parking lot. No services, but there are plenty of shops and gas stations nearby. I stayed here in a small van camper and was not disturbed. It's a change of pace if you're going to be staying in the area for a couple of days and don't want to park at Walmart every night. |

Ozzie | This is just off the freeway boondocking spot. Easy on/off access. Big rig compatible. Lot's of food options in walking distance. 4/5g cell service. Will be good to stealth it for a night or two if you're passing through and need a quick free spot to lay low. |

busbusbus | In the Siuslaw NF just outside of the town of Beaver. Mostly flat spot large enough for a camper van or short RV, fire ring. Ok morning sun for solar/south aspect partially shaded by trees. Some trash. Quiet during the week with a few cars going by on the weekend. 4 bars on Tmobile. |

Instagram: @savannatales | Stunning view of Mount Meru! We came here to eat and after discussing with the very sympathetic owner Beate she told us she intends to open a campsite so we ended up being her first guests. Price yet to be discussed. There's a big green lawn, toilets, cold bucket shower and the food is really delicious and a great firewood pizza! They sell Twiga draught beer which is the first Tanzanian craft brewerie 5,000tzs 330ml. The place is very cozy and with easy access being only a few hundred meters from the tarred road. Really close to city center but it already has a more rural atmosphere and the night was very silent. There's also a craft shop in the premises. |

heyannika33 | US Forest Service Land. Pretty good dirt road. My 2wd sprinter is fine. Didn’t take the road all the way down so now sure what’s down that way. Great views. Away from the road but the road itself isn’t busy. Lots of space. 2-3 bars T-Mobile |

heyannika33 | Update - just got a visit from the sheriff. Apparently this is US trust land? Not sure what that exactly means but it’s not public. A neighbor called it in. Sheriff was nice. Moving now to the other side of 89. |
