Jamie Z | As stated, the rooms are fairly small, though not uncomfortably so. Bathrooms are small, so I can see why someone who is especially tall might be cramped. But I'm an average size man and I found everything to be adequate. Room has a desk and a chair. Bed is comfortable; maybe a little hard. There's a closet and night stand. And most importantly, safe parking for my motorcycle. You could get a van in here, but nothing too tall. WiFi is not good. Internet connection is extremely slow and unreliable. I've had trouble backing up my photos. Signs in the room state that no alcohol is allowed. Roku TV in the room does not work because the internet connection is too slow. I paid 400 pesos per night, but the price might be artificially low because of covid. |

Jamie Z | Open during covid. Temperature check and hand sanitizer at the door. Entry is 63 pesos for the mummy museum, 17 pesos for the museum of death. 23 pesos to take pictures. Students, seniors, and locals pay different prices. I recommend skipping the museum of death. It's just a hallway with some silly props. |

/blogs/110531 | Tent camping looks divine. Car camping is a joke. I camped in the overgrown soccer field a few minutes before Santa Rita. The springs are open 8-5, closed Wednesdays (and closed Tuesday night for camping), and it's the same price whether you show up at 8 AM or 4 PM, the old guy is not open to negotiations, so plan accordingly. The old man is still alive and still a creep. He looked at my body during our interaction, not my eyes. Bleh. He didn't bother me, and the springs are so beautiful, but I hate to give a creepy guy money...150 for the day. Conflicted. The spring is pristine and magical. I really appreciated how quiet everyone was. It feels like a spiritual place. |

louisa.millar02 | I stayed here 4 nights and had only planned to stay one. I wouldn’t have been able to back into Len and Margets driveway on my own I don’t think but Len didnt hesitate to back it down their narrow driveway for me. I got here at sunset and the view was perfect. They have power and water to hook up too and also a really nice clean bathroom to use with a super hot shower. The property is gated so it’s super secure. They showed me around Aticama and Santa Cruz which are both cute towns with good food and some fun little surf waves if there is south swell. I mostly surfed right in front of their house, there was some fun little waves to mess around on while I was there. The highlight for me though was hiking to Cora falls about a 40 minute drive from their house. Definitely worth a visit and it’s free! Len and Margets place is 200p a night, well worth it for the location, amenities, and vibes! |

rachael809 | Myself and my friend are traveling in our skool buses and so far have spent one week camping in the parking lot of Home Depot in the most northwest part of the lot. A cashier told us other vehicles have stayed overnight here and we saw plenty of other people overnighting in their vehicles or leaving their vehicles parked here and going elsewhere. Police regularly patrol the lot and neighboring streets but we were’t questioned or hassled. This is a beautiful town and the parking lot has awesome mountain and palm tree views! |

wesley.ratliff | 3-4 sites all in the vicinity of the confluence, BLM land. The exact coordinates is a flat spot tucked off the road with a trail to some beautiful turquoise pools in a rocky canyon. Across the street are some flat spots at what appears to be the foundation of an old homestead with apple trees. |

bigyearcoffee.com | Packed and flat sand beach, easy to drive on even with 2WD. There was a lot of garbage on the beach unfortunately but it was still nice and very quiet at night. All around a great spot, especially considering the cost! We didn’t get a permit as we couldn’t find the store that sold them, sherif drove by to check things out but didn’t stop at our van. |
Bolivar beach | 29.38382, -94.72228 | |
leafley | A large pullout/parking lot off the street. There was another van there. A police car was behind me when I pulled in and never came back to check if I was still there or anything like that. No signage indicating no overnight parking. I would recommend this lot as a good option in the winter months when the forest roads are closed. Otherwise, the forest roads are probably a better, more out of the way place. |
